I’ve been building up a small collection over the years, mostly Gundam model kits (Gunpla) that I picked up during trips to Japan. Honestly, it’s super addictive once you start, between the building process and just having them on display, it feels like bringing a piece of the series into your room.

Curious what everyone else has actually. Do you go for scale figures, prize figures, Nendoroids, or maybe even custom builds? And do you focus on just one series, or do you mix it up across different shows?

Would be awesome if you could share pictures of your shelves or display setups.

Weird, had to relog to be able reply.

I've been collecting warhammer 40k since I was 12. Still play the game to this day. Got a few thousand models at this point.

Yeah, the groups are still in their early days, it’ll smooth out as we go, just fixed a few things already based on your reply. Thnx for that.

And wow, Warhammer 40k since you were 12? That really is dedication. A few thousand models is crazy impressive. Do you mostly paint and display them, or are you more into the actual battles on the tabletop?

Would love to see some photos of your collection if you have them.

Always been a long time lover of RTS games. I mostly play, though now and then I take time to paint it. Though, I'm not a great painter to be honest.

Jeez, this looks awesome haha :ROFLMAO: Thanks for sharing! That paint job is way better than anything I could pull off. I’m already happy if I can paint a whole wall white without spilling drops on the floor

So... I have a few Star Wars figures from the 90s that are worth a pretty penny. I also collect Funko Pops. Really want to get into 40k but I heard it can be pricey and my lifestyle is already pricey so I'm not sure how I will get into that realm and still pay my bills lol. I have too much going on.

I'll grab some when I get home. If I have some on my phone I will definitely post. Its only like twenty something not a whole room full. I only get the ones my girlfriend and I really like lol. They're more meaningful that way. So I have a few of my favorite Naruto characters and Pokémon and she has some Naruto, Fairy Tail and Pokémon, etc. I also have some comic-related ones like Spider-Gwen and that kind of good stuff lol.

It can add up pretty quick. There are some armies cheaper than others and there are websites to get like up to 30% off retail prices. What army were you interested in? Custodes are probably one of the cheapest armies to start. Can get about 1700-1800 points with 2 combat patrols which with that discount works out about £150-180.

Custodes are probably the only thing I am interested in in all of Warhammer. And whatever Nurgles are.

Nurgle armies can be cheap to start too. This army here is Death Guard. That are basically chaos space marines loyal to Nurgle:

The other side of Nurgle is Nurgle Daemons. Nurgle is all about being tough, spreading plagues and afflictions. Here is what the daemons look like:

Seems like I can't click that link but yeah. I was looking to just paint and collect but are you talking about playing them as well?

i like to collect items with my favorites anime/manga characters but the figures despite being very cool and attractive are not so practical so I have stuff like a Kakashi pen, a few One Piece towels and 2 t-shirts with Luffy who I always use/wear with joy.

I recently came across an Asian fast food restaurant in Hamburg and at the entrance there was a giant Naruto figure that I wanted to share here.
There was a smaller Luffy and also a DragonballZ character, but I was really impressed by Naruto, it brought back memories ^^
