Ban is a tall, muscular man with pale skin, who possesses a set of well-developed abdominal muscles. He has short, spiky, pale blue hair and thin black eyebrows, as well as a pair of scarlet-red eyes. On the left side of his neck, he has a large scar given to him by Kurapika. He is also shown wearing a red leather jacket and pants with metal studs sewn into both, alongside shoes of a similar, yet darker color. His Seven Deadly Sins symbol of the Fox, is
located above his waist on his left side.

Ban is shown to be a passionate man. He take actions based on whatever catches his interest such as escaping from prison after hearing the head of his long-lost clan was alive, and trying to
steal Kurta Kurapika's cloak, Iris, to discover why it was so important to him. He has shown some aspects of greed, as well as selfish desire; however, he will stay his hand if he is given a good reason to stop. He has a strange
habit of making singing tones while talking which he developed at a young age after he was adopted by Priest Bartholomew.
Despite his selfish and greedy personality, he is also shown
to be caring, which is shown constantly via the love he had for his fellow clansmen. He could go to dire lengths to protect them as he considers them "Endangered Species". Ban is easily surprised and excited, as shown when he
discovers his clan abilities and after he got well-versed in using the Paw to great measures. He, himself was unsure of his capabilities. Ban holds deep
hatred toward many clans in the world, holding a grudge against
them for killing most of his ancestors and he despises the very thought of resurrecting these clans by bringing them back to the Ninja World.

The Beginning, Street Life
From birth, Ban has been unwanted by anyone even his parents who left him as a baby in a basket at the door of the orphanage home. With this, he lived his entire life growing up ignorant of his roots or pasts. Growing up in the orphanage was not easy, this was where Ban's Greed starts to develop with time - he coveted other people's things, food, luxuries and while being driven by this emotion he ends up destroying it.
At the age of 14 he escaped from the orphanage and began his life as a street rat which a bunch of other kids in his age grade. They devised ways of stealing which was petty though just to feed their mouths so they could see another day.
Meeting the Holy One
It was one of those days Ban was prepared to continue his work as he stood in the market square searching for the perfect victim to rid them of their valuables. On this day he was alone without the help of most of his comrades. This was where he sighted a built figure which looks like a man of God. Thinking to himself, the man was the perfect target as it was obvious that he'll be carrying cash.
Employing his strategic plans, he was caught by a firm grip when he tried to make away with the small bag of coins tied to Priest's waist. Priest held his right hand while the young boy fluttered in vain, it would seem that the Holy one was caught by something that struck him - it was the paws he saw on Ban's palm. Priest took the boy to his sanctuary and showed him about the long lost clan of the Bartholomew, even he showed him his paws which he (Priest) had hidden by wearing a pair of gloves.
Acceptance and Training.
The information he heard from Priest was heavy in his heart which made him uneasy for which he couldn't manage a meal for days. Finally, reality caught up with him after days and months of denial, he finally accepted his roots and began training to develop his clan's abilities. As days rolls by, Priest brought in new members which brought more joy into the heart of the teenager. They all had their flaws and advantages which essentially contributed to Ban's social, mental, emotional development as a whole. Currently due to his sturdy training with Priest, he's a Level 3 in the clan which would change in a few months when he'd be worthy to become a "Bartholomew Legend".
The Fox's Sin Of Greed
Ban, over the years have being depicting his greed in one way or the other which Priest had tried to stop from growing with Ban. All efforts was lost when Ban took his greed to a really high level coveting things of his accomplices and ridding his defeated opponents of their valuables. His curiosity was the man problem here as it constantly fuels his "greed". Kurapika once mentioned to Ban that he'll kill him any day he finds him with his properties again but even this threat was not enough to prevent Ban from still meddling into "The Blond Bartholomew's" belongings. One of the very times Kurapika got angry, they'd usually engage in long hours of fighting not bring able to declare a winner to the contest thus both of them still thinking they're superior to the other. Priest once gave a quote :
"A day is not complete without a Ban and Kurapika meddlesome encounters..."

As a result of his rigorous training in the element he has become well versed and adapt to the nature and being able to perform all techniques requiring handseal with a single one.
Master of Deception
From being able to fuse illusionary techniques into his fighting style makes him adapt with the style and versatile that he can perform illusion techniques that require hand seals on a faster rate than the average.
Bartholomew's Wunderkind
As a result of being trained by the clan head himself gave him in depth knowledge of the clan arts thus bringing him to a higher path of the arts. Being a Level 3, he could use his clan abilities up to his rank and he's well versed as well in it.
Pithoui Summons and Arts
Ban happens to be a signer to the contract of the mighty birds of Modakeke. He's completed the summons and arts making him a grandmaster in the field. He also has a summon tattoo of the birds on his left wrist for conjuring these birds.
