Madara watched the man catch the Ryo before leaving with his large companion behind him, thanking Madara for his contributions. He waved it off, having no use for the Ryo himself and thus had no reason to keep it. As the two left, Madara was left with Strix and the new person who arrived to the area wielding his weapon. Madara offered him another glance before turning towards Strix again, reaching his hand into one of his many pockets.

"The information you gave me was very useful though, I need to take care of something soon. Much like you, I was gifted my Core/Weapon and I need to speak to the one who gave it to me. This scroll will allow us to communicate with one another should we need to, I'll send you a message soon with a location we can rendezvous at. Until then, keep the Core safe. I have reason to believe that much is underway and set to start."

After handing her a scroll, Madara and Akujin turn and leave, heading north.
Conducting a meeting required some form of payment? Ryo? Benimaru had been raised in solitude with the monks of the Wind Temple, thus items such as this Ryo was unfamiliar to the exiled wanderer. Despite confusion, the monk gracefully reached from out his arm sleeve and caught the bag. If this currency was needed to meet the Spider, then Benimaru was grateful for having encountered this foe. The monk still felt as if this male stranger was beyond ordinary, he remembered his discipline which required him to uphold the manners that was instilled in him. The monk turned around and began walking towards the destination of the Spider.

“By the hands of fate, we were destined to meet. Much gratitude, may life have our paths crossed again…it will be I that assists you.”
Catching the scroll and placing it in her pocket, she nodded at the man and watched him leave. Strix would begin to wonder where to go, thinking back on her time in the Western Continent. There was a few leads she wanted to follow up on, but before leaving, she performed the necessary ritual and seals to perform the Edo Tensei Technique. As the ashes covered the body, a woman with blue hair and a black and red cloak.

Konan, good to have you back with me, there are things happening I need your guidance for.

From the look on her face, she wasn't happy about being back in the land of the living, but at the same time she would never leave her first student who she grew to care for as a daughter.

I always thought some day you would bring me back, but to perform the forbidden Edo Tensei... well I guess it cant be helped.

The two women then head off from the landmark.

( Kuchiyose Kinjutsu: Edo Tensei ) - Forbidden Summoning Technique: Impure World Reincarnation
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 40 (-20 per resurrection per turn )
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation is a forbidden technique used to revive the dead. To perform this technique, the user must first acquire some of the DNA of the person they intend to revive such as limbs, organs or merely blood samples. The soul of the intended revived must also reside in the pure world (jōdo) those whose soul has been consumed by the Death God, or have been previously sealed by other methods cannot be resurrected. Next, a living sacrifice is required for the soul of the resurrected to use as a vessel. Once all prerequisites for the technique have been met, the acquired DNA of the person is smeared on a special scroll and once the scroll is activated, the remains spread out in the form of a special seal with the living sacrifice in the centre. Then dust and ash encase the sacrifice's body, giving them the same appearance that the revived had at the time of their death. The person is then revived and the end product is usually stored in a casket until summoned by the user by performing the Tiger → Snake → Dog → Dragon → Clap hands handseals. When the user summons the revived soul, a casket first appears before revealing the revived soul. The Edo Tensei Summoning can be countered by sealing away the targets soul or by having the summoner cancel the technique. As they are unlikely to do this voluntarily, using a genjutsu to trick them into cancelling the technique is ideal. The sequence of hand seals for cancelling the technique is Rat → Ox → Monkey → Tiger → Dragon → Boar and saying Kai. If the summoner dies before the technique is deactivated, then this method is impossible. If the summoned soul's controlling tag is overcome or disabled by a technique or if the user so wishes it, the summoned soul or the user can both sever the contract through the use of the Snake → Ram → Boar → Dog → Tiger seals. The summoned soul is then left as an immortal revived soul, autonomous and without any link to the summoner.
Note: A bio can only have up to a total of three souls for revival which must abide by a few rules, specific for the technique.
Note: The user of the technique can only have up to 3 Vessels in total. Orochimaru, Kabuto and Tobirama are able to have up to 2 Vessels present in battle though only one of these can be a vessel from a battle.
Note: If the user purchases the vessel, it can only have access to single abilities such as their HA/KG/AE. If a vessel is obtained through battle, he is able to utilize the bio's Dual Abilities, Modes and AN if obtained. Only the canon techniques of these are possible, however.
Note: The Edo Summons pertain to the bio and not the user, and only one of the bios of the user can use Edo tensei.
Note: A member must attain biographies in an offical match approved by 2 roleplay moderators for both the revival and sacrifice and cannot be given a biography willingly.
Note: Technique can only be used once per battle/event.
Oden began to march back the way he came. Grumping and groaning as he carried himself, Oden sensed the signatures begin to split away from each other. The man who appeared to be a monk was the first to depart. He, alongside the man with long hair, both stood out as having the second and first largest signatures respectively, and a strange companion seemed to accompany them. The inhuman beings were unlike any beast Oden had ever encountered. Where could he find himself such a beast, he wondered, rummaging through the different beings his mind concocted. Terrible sea monsters with countless arms, roaring dragons that pierced the clouds, men who could dwarf mountains. Oden was sure that these beings crawled the surface of the world, and he was determined to encounter wonders that rivaled their own. And then, an idea flashed into his mind.

Oden spun around and leaped through the hole once more. He had caught a glimpse of the groups' convo before getting too far. So the monk with the strange beast also sought the one known as "The Spider." Oden grinned. The decision was so clear, he could kick himself for not determining it before: This monk with the strange companion and the powerful chakra would allow Oden to journey with them.

The Ronin turned and looked through the hole he had made in the mountain side. He leaped up once more and dashed through to the other side, making his way toward the direction he had sensed the monk moving off into.

Coming from [x] with Solomon

It had been a long track, and Solomon and Isabella had chatted infrequently, and Isabella was unable to get much information out of the old man. It seemed his new resolve had made him more upfront, but it was still a long way to go before one could define Solomon as the chatty type. In turn, Isabella knew when to keep their journey silent and when to chirp away at the old king, maybe with some success.

As the beach gave way to rock and cliffs, the placed marked as the sacred started to appear in the horizon.

I believe we're here, I'm assuming now would be the type to get an answer out of you. What is this place, and why are we here?

The Tomb of Marduk is a relic from the period immediately after the Great War. It simultaneously represents a monument of the past but also the future; of the Golden Empire and the beginning of humanity's rise and primacy. "This is the Tomb of Marduk, though the term tomb does not really convey it's true purpose. It is more apt to call it a Monument to Marduk." Solomon's Satorigan transitioned back into its Tenseigan state, eyes scanning the ancient walls. Much of the structure is coated in the ancient mud of Tiamat, the Sea of Life. Whatever might be beneath it, be it runes, inscriptions, depictions - it has been long lost to the inert Authority. But what hasn't, what remains untainted, can still be seen almost perfect, barring some dust or flora that has found a home on its walls.

"As for the why..." His voice trailed off for a moment as he continued to inspect the building; on its surface it didn't seem like much of a spectacular structure. It was Partheon-esque but simultaneously humble, enclosed on both its flanks with modest marble pillars welcoming those to step into its glorious corridors. "Long ago a sect of Marduk's worshippers, the Priests of Justice, studied here. This was long, long ago - perhaps some 8,000 years at this point. They were servants of the Golden Empire; but they were not emissaries of Marduk's word. He never spoke to them. Not once. In fact, by this point Marduk, and the rest of his Pantheon, had long left human matters in the hands of the Immortal Humans that ruled the Golden Empire and their descendants." Solomon began walking toward the monument, "It's here that I will find the answers we need."

( Doujutsu: Tenseigan ) - Eye Technique: Reincarnation Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: N/A ( -10 per turn )
Damage: N/A
Description: The Tenseigan (転生眼, Literally meaning: Reincarnation Eye) is a powerful dōjutsu utilized by the Ōtsutsuki clan. The combination of the Byakugan and the chakra of an Ōtsutsuki clan member can evolve the Byakugan into the Tenseigan, resulting in the loss of the Byakugan's quasi-omnidirectional and distanced vision. The Tenseigan allows the user to control both attractive and repulsive forces, similar to the Rinnegan's Deva Path. The user's eyes are on the same level as the Mangekyou Sharingan in terms of tracking and chakra perception. Additionally, it also grants the wielder the ability to use Tenseigan Chakra Mode; gaining additional increases in speed, agility and power.
Note: Requires activation (spending move) for Otsutsuki bios but remains active indefinitely afterwards if the user chooses to. After having a complete Otsutsuki bio with Tenseigan for 1 month, user becomes able to switch between both doujutsu without spending a move. User needs to have activated Byakugan before and had it active for 1 full turn.
Note: Toneri is unable to deactivate his upon it's activation, becoming his default eye state.
Note: When active, the user loses all access to Byakugan related abilities and instead gains Tenseigan effects.

Isabella mimicked Solomon with her inferior Doujutsu, the eyes of hatred. She meant to inspect every nook and cranny with enhanced eyes. What mostly attracted her atention was the mud from Tiamat, the same kind she had to traverse through the Hobuku in order to find the city of the Sentinels. Yet this one was hardened and, dare she say, lifeless?

What came before, the Mud that encases this Monument, or the Priests that no longer reside in it? In fact, where does Imeroth lie in the grand spectrum of things? Is he one of the Immortal Ones left by the Pantheon to rule Humankind or is he a different breed entirely?

"The priests. Though their time here somewhat overlaps and certainly continued after." He motioned her to continue inward. Marduk's Tomb had been untouched for many, many years. The sconces and torches hanging from the walls were long extinguished. "Some light, if you could be so kind. Come, come." Beckoning toward a set of stairs he waited to answer her question, using his Doujutsu to light his own way. "As for your last question - Imeroth's humanity was forfeited long ago. He is human in only body now, nothing else." Their descent had only just begun.

At his beckoning, Isabella clicked her fingers, and several torches lit up like a cigarrette, before bursting into a lazy and calm flame, lighting the way. While walking deeper into the Pantheon, there was almost a comfy ambiance surrounding the two ninja.

( Ninpō: Ritomasu Fingā ) Ninja Art: Litmus Finger ( Fire )
Type: Offensive/ Supplementary
Rank: E-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra: 5
Damage: 10
Description: This Jutsu was developed using the special paper Sensei possess to assess a Shinobi's Elemental Affinity as a basis. The user focuses Chakra in their finger/ hand and, by performing a small gesture that best represents the Element they wish to replicate, they produce a small, raw form of the desired Element. While this technique lacks any significant "punch", the technique itself can be used to attack the opponent in a variety of ways, making this Jutsu's true strength lie in it's users imagination. The following is a list of basic examples from the 5 Elemental Natures. Note that these are simply basic examples, and not the sole usages of the technique.

Fire: The user can snap their fingers, using the heat caused by the friction to make a "lighter" from their finger/ thumb. Other uses include low heat Fire's, such as Ash.
Wind: The user can twirl their finger around, using the rotation to create a mini-vortex on their fingertip. Other uses include basic variations of Wind, like small gusts or blades.
Lightning: The user can rub their fingers together, using the vibration to mimic a small electrical charge. Other uses include basic variations of Lightning.
Earth: The user can ball their hand into a fist, compressing their Chakra and make a small rock or pebble. Other uses include softer or lighter variations of Earth, such as mud, dirt or dust.
Water: The user can, using free-flowing movements with their finger, mimic the flow of Water Chakra and create a "stream" of Water in the air. Other uses include basic variants on the Water Element, such as syrup or oil.

Note: Can only be taught by x iiiMPerFeCT.

Power tends to do that to someone. And it seems Imeroth has attained a whole ordeal of power. Still, maybe I'm asking something that not even you can answer, but... what drives Imeroth? What happened to him that made him shurn away his humanity? In trauma we can find his weaknesses.

At some point a threshold had been crossed. Where was difficult to pinpoint, even for Solomon. Though he did tacitly understand it. The world around them had changed, something indicative in their seemingly endless descent into the dark temple. Though at least Isabella provided some light. "Wait." Solomon paused for a moment and held his hand up, his eyes narrowed before he could respond to her. There, somewhere deep below them, a very distinct female scream could be heard. It was faint, extremely faint. "Hear that?" It was only a single scream and after silence once again reigned supreme.

Maybe it had been too faint for Isabella to hear, maybe it was due to her distraction with the topic at hand, or maybe it was simply not meant for Isabella's ears but Solomon's alone. The Uchiha scanned her surrounding with her Sharingan, but there was only this unsettling sensation that something was amiss. At this point, Isabella turned all her senses outwards, and nodded a "no" with her head, while remaining completely quiet.

...

With another nod, Isabella urged Solomon to continue, while her finger kept moving in circles, dimming down the lights above them and snuffing out the ones behind them.

Any normal human would have long lost track of time in their infinite descent. The stairwell seemed to go on forever; though as they delved deeper into the earth the screeches and screams grew louder. There was no definitive moment but after sometime, perhaps an hour, the screams, which had grown louder, seemed to come from above and not below. "They're above us now," he pointed upward, though not directly. It was more at a diagonal that followed the path of the stairs. The screams and shouts soon shed their ambiguity. They seemed to be screaming about something called the Lahmu. They were fighting. Solomon's eyes narrowed, "Isabella, what do you think is going on here?" The question was somewhat rhetorical but he wanted to guide the Uchiha, now Void touched, to the proper conclusion.

Whatever screaming Solomon had heard now was obvious to the pair of them. Isabella maintained a wary attitude but allowed herself to speak, mirroring her partner's attitude. Since he didn't seem alarmed, the Uchiha knew he was expecting something of her. The screeching seemed to fuse into the words of Lahmu, though Isabella didn't know what that word fully entailed.

It sounds like some sort of skirmish is happening. At some point we stopped heading towards it, which makes it seem like this descent is going past the room they're in.

She touched the walls that her Sharingan didn't seem to penetrate far enough, trying to feel some sort of vibration or heat that could tell the distance from the screeches, but they seem to only indicate that they had descended past a threshold of some otherwordly cacophony of demonic noises. She tried to convey that feeling to Solomon, ending her explanation with a question-like sentence:

We seem to be descending past Hell.

Nonetheless, she showed herself to be keen on continuing.

Solomon tilted his head, "You're right. It is a skirmish. But they're not in any room or chamber. They're above at the entryway of the temple. Where we were." He raised his hand again, this time to motion for her to stop. The Mage King had no intention of joining the battle above. In fact, he had no intention of even seeing what might be going on. This was strange enough and not what they came for, at least not directly. "We seemed to have stepped into a different world, Isabella. A rift into another time, perhaps in this case the past. I believe it is a symptom of three Domains having been broken." Solomon paused, looking up toward the shouts and battle cries against the dreaded Lahmu.

( Flashback ) Sign the Legendary Contract of the Yako no Kitsune, the Nightmare Foxes

Last time we spoke about this, we had the theory that I coexist within two separate realms. I wonder if I should have my other half carrying us through.

She says as she activates her Cosmic Shinkaigan, her red iris giving away to an entire galaxy of twinkling stars. Yet, at this point Isabella would avert her eyes from Solomon. She wasn't sure if his new Doujutsu would give him some sort of resilience towards the Shinkaigan's sanity drawbacks, but she wouldn't want the old man to slowly descend into insanity yet.

(Dōjutsu: Shinkaigan) – Eye Technique: Abyssal Eyes
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A (-10 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: The Shinkaigan (深海), or the Abyssal Eyes and the Eyes of the Abyss, is the Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai that appears in the Voidseers. Two conditions must be met to awaken the Shinkaigan. The first is that one must become Void-touched; this is achieved when one becomes Void-touched. The second is by gaining sufficient knowledge of the Shinkaigan and the Voidseer’s innate abilities. This is a key characteristic of the Shinkaigan, noted by Solomon to be “eyes of knowledge” rather than “eyes of trauma,” making it distinct from the Sharingan. The Shinkaigan possesses a unique connection to the Void itself. Its abilities exist in both space and time separately. This comes to be because the Void exists both as a separate dimension and a state in time. Rewinding the clocks far enough would cause everything in the universe to eventually converge onto the Void. The Shinkaigan is the only way one can view the Void directly, peering into it to gain intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the universe as it is today. Without the Shinkaigan exposure to the Void and Shinkaigan Dōjutsu causes one to lose Sanity; though, like a double-edged sword, the Shinkaigan user also suffers a loss of Sanity. But because their eye allows them to perceive and cognize the Void differently from other humans, they lose Sanity at a slower rate. In the left eye the Shinkaigan allows the user to visually perceive lifeforce and lifecycles of anything, including inanimate objects. It derives this ocular power through the nature of the Void itself. The right eye allows the Shinkaigan wielder to view the Void as a physical space, perceiving it not as a point in time but a location. The wielder gains enhanced visual acuity, able to track targets at four times their speed. Though unlike other Dōjutsu it lacks the ability to perceive chakra. Activation of the Shinkaigan grants the user access to their Voidseer Dōjutsu, affording them the ability to use powerful temporal and spatial abilities.
Note: The user is able to passively activate the Shinkaigan after holding the Dōjutsu for one month.
Note: Gazing directly into the Shinkaigan causes a loss of 5 Sanity per turn unless the user also wields the Shinkaigan. Those who have completed Taijutsu training can avoid these effects by breaking eye contact with their opponent.

(Dōjutsu: Uchū Shinkaigan) – Eye Technique: Cosmic Abyssal Eyes
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A (-30 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: The Cosmic Shinkaigan (深海), or the Cosmic Abyssal Eyes is the advanced Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai that appears in the Voidseers. The conditions to advance the Shinkaigan to its Cosmic level continue to build on the concept of the “eyes of knowledge.” The Cosmic Shinkaigan significantly improves the user’s visual prowess, extending the reach and accuracy of their perceptive abilities. The user becomes able to see up to two landmarks from their position in the Ninja World, significantly increasing their reach from the Abyssal Eyes. Meanwhile their visual acuity is enhanced dramatically, vastly improving their tracking capabilities by 6x their base. It is said that the Cosmic level signify the pinnacle of the user’s insight into the Cosmos, but it is more likely that they are simply better attuned to the Void than they would be otherwise. Once they have mastered their abilities a Cosmic Shinkaigan user becomes able to specialize in either the Shinkaigan’s Spatial or Temporal powers, pursuing a line of abilities they unlock as their proficiency with the Cosmic Shinkaigan increases. As a Shinkaigan user has innately greater mastery over their abilities and knowledge of the Void they gain an intrinsic 50% Insanity Resistance.
Note: Once activated the technique will remain active indefinitely afterwards, able to be switched between the Shinkaigan and Cosmic level at will.
Note: After the user has held the Cosmic Shinkaigan for two months they are able to activate it passively.
Note: Gazing directly into the Shinkaigan causes a loss of 10 Sanity per turn unless the user also wields the Shinkaigan. Those who have completed Taijutsu training can avoid these effects by breaking eye contact with their opponent.

I have one more thing to tell you. I haven't been completely iddle in the Outer Lands. My nightmares have been getting worse ever since I got broken down by Nefarian. But slowly I've been aware that a friend of my past has been keeping me from harm. I do not know how this came to be, or what role these nightmares played in the grand scheme of things. I had a friend once, a fox. Her name was Teca and I lost her a long time ago. But I've been seeing her more and more in my dreams. A week ago, she took another form within my nightmare, and, when I woke up, I met Kumiho.

Isabella kept on walking as she told her story, unsure if Solomon was interested or not. She had long since lost herself within her memories.

Isabella's hands had turned cancerous and necrotic, as she stared at a giant figure of Nefarian, the God of Disease. The tumours started swealling up, splinters and cracks bursting into fetid bile all across her blackened skin. She tried to move, retaliate somehow, but found herself stuff. That is when Teca showed up, her red rusted coat of fur appearing in a blaze of flames. Isabella stood there, watching her fox's back as she growled at her opponent, feeling the gentle and warm caress of what appeared to be 3 tails of magestic red hair.

The air warmed up and then, when Teca turned around, Isabella woke up in the shabby cottage of the Beachfront settlement, covered in night sweats and hard of breath. Gaining awareness of her surroundings was difficult in the night, but more so because the fox of her nightmare was still there, staring at her. Teca was long gone, dead. All of Isabella's senses were screaming for her to wake up, or fight, but she could not. And then, the Fox spoke.

Isabella-Sama. My name is Kumiho

It was a gentle female voice, shining through a rough growl. Looking closely, while the Nightmare Fox had the same rusted red fur on her back, it was shinier and more magestic, like it was made of flames turned into hairs. Her back had the same black stripes of a tiger, and, most importantly, her size and 2 additional tails were nothing like Teca's.

Isabella sat upright in her bed, speechless, and the fox took the opportunity to continue.

We have been following you for a long time, Isabella-Sama. We have been there in your past, and followed your journey, Queen of the Uchiha. We have been there in your highest points, and your lowest. But your heart has been blocked off from us all this while.

Kumiho's eyes were twinkling with light, and although her gaze was sad, it was also loving.

We are sadden that you had to go through so much alone, and had we been given a choice, we would have protected you from all the sorrow that your life has brought you. You are our princess, so tells the prophecy, the one that will allow us to leave our sanctuary and gain greater power. But you are also the seal that prevents us from leaving. And, until now, you weren't ready.

I have never met you before, nor your kind.

But you have... we have been there since the begining, in your dreams. We have been there in your growth, and your talent. In your battle prowess and your learning. Your genjutsu and your spirit. We have inspired you and protected you from within, even when your heart closed up so strongly that even in your Nightmares we were rejected from you. But when you hardened your resolve once more, you tore the last seal. And now, we come to you, if you accept us, to sign the Blood Contract.

Isabella searched her heart and memories. She used her Genjutsu Mastery, her Yin Mastery and all her mental techniques to search deep down herself. And she saw them, the tailed foxes. She saw them in her imaginary childhood friends, in her dreams, and in her inspirations. She had been deeply connected with the foxes. Taking her finger to her mouth, she bit the flesh of her thumb, a single drop of blood hanging from her nail.

Kumiho, you have been there since the begining, even if I was unable to see you. And now, enemies stand at my doors. I am weak, but my resolve is strong.

She placed her hand on the Fox's snout, and the blood seeped and sizzled upon contac with her fur. She felt her heart and blood boil with power, like a loving hug to her soul. Isabella hadn't even realized that a single tear had fallen from her eyes.

And I really need a friend right now...

And for the first time in years, snuggled to the warm fur of Kumiho, Isabella slept through the night.

With a click of her teeth, Isabella drew blood from her thumb, slapping her hand on the walls of the corridor. In a burst of smoke, a great Nightmare Fox with stripped red fur appeared. After snuggling her snout to Isabella, she tipped her head to Solomon, greeting him. Her fur started to glow, signifying the insurgance of her fourth tail, copying Isabella's Wind Elemental Ninjutsu. And then, the three of them carried on, towards the next place of their journey.

"Your theory, while apt, is not applicable here. This is not a parallel world. This is the past. A very distinct and important point in the past when humanity fought against Tiamat's first incursion." It was a revelation that few knew about: that Tiamat's rise three years ago was not the first time she had returned from the Void. In fact, it was the second time since her defeat at the hands Marduk and his vessel, the human Imeroth. "So you've treated her well, huh?" The Mage King whispered with a smile, appreciating their ethereal forms. "Don't become like Imeroth, Isabella." It was a stark warning as Solomon's own mind wandered toward another one of his companions - Merlin. "We're going to travel again. Your fox companions will come with us. Ready?"

Isabella caressed Kumiho and nodded to Solomon.

I'm ready. And I won't... but you see a connection between me and Imeroth?

Solomon tilted his head again and scratched at his chin. The screams and battle cries above had intensified. Apparently the Lahmu had broken through their first line of defenses. "I can see that lust for power in your eyes. A dark gleam that drives you to greater heights or into perilous journeys. Imeroth was similar. He wanted to become like Marduk, for a time." Before he gave her a chance to respond golden light enveloped them again and they were suddenly gone.

Coming from [x]

Isabella treaded the last legs of the journey by foot, Kumiho by her side. The last time she stood in this place, Solomon guided her inside the modest marble columns of the temple. But that's when she realized that something else had happened once they passed the threshold of the timelines. They heard skirmishes and fights from the entrance of the temple. The Lahmu. Solomon had been evasive about what they were, and after they teleported, he never mentioned them again. She approached the domain of the temple of Marduk carefully, not sure what she was going to find.
