Ruins of Chungsu. Arthur, Order of the Golden Amputation
The air in the stone corridor was cold, punctuated only by the low, gravelly tones of conversation. Lothar, broad and still in his dark armor, stood beside the entrance to the cramped cell. His silver hair and beard caught the dim light, and the symbol of the Golden Amputation on his armor seemed to absorb all warmth. He observed Arthur, the old man fidgeting, the worry etched deeper into his face than any scar on Lothar’s own.
“He is just a boy, Lothar, and I am already sick with what I had to do,” Arthur confessed, his voice shaking. “The sleeping draught in his food, the binding… it was all out of worry. He was spiraling. I could not stand by and see him fall into the darkness that claimed so many others, so I acted.”
“Worry is a double edged blade, Arthur. It saves, and it traps,” Lothar responded, his tone flat and unreadable. He did not judge the method, only the necessary outcome. “Age is irrelevant. Intent is not. I need to know the origin of this rage. It is either a tool of a god, delivered to sow chaos, or the deep wound of a survivor. I choose to pursue the latter until I am presented with a lie.”

Lothar placed a hand on the door, his light blue eyes focused on nothing but the truth he sought. Years of war and loss had forged his mind into a tactical engine, yet they had also left him with an intense capacity for genuine kindness, which he masked with severe discipline. His loyalty to Mara and the cause of ridding the world of all forms of divinity demanded this harsh interrogation. He would do whatever was needed, but his heart ached for any who carried the marks of the divine world. He had no patience for lies, especially those that would risk the life a potential ally.
He pushed the door inward. Inside, Nanashi was a tight knot of defiance and fear, bound to a rough wooden chair. Lothar’s vast shadow enveloped the small space. He crossed the room slowly, the slight scrape of his dark gray armor a quiet reminder of years spent in unending hardship. He knelt down, bringing his scarred, silvered face level with the boy’s glare.
“I will not waste our time, Nanashi,” he said, his voice surprisingly gentle, yet hard as the steel he wore. “I am not interested in petty secrets or how Arthur brought you here. What I need to know is what the world has done to you. This fury you carry, this great anger… is it truly yours, or were you merely pointed in a direction by something older? What has divinity stolen that you are trying to reclaim, child?”

Nanashi had been seething silently in his restraints, periodically straining against them to try to at least loosen them. The voices outside where but a mumble to him, however he could make out the voice of Arthur, and it fueled his drive to get out of the restraints.
It was moments after the voices stopped that the door swung open and an older man, dressed as if he was out of a fantasy novel, walked in and knelt before him. Nanashi glared at the man as he asked his questions, taken slightly by surprise that it was similar to what Arthur had asked him.
"How should i know? I lost my memory." I tilt to the side to yell out the door at Arthur "I believe i was telling someone that when they decided to drug me!"
Nanashi turns his attention back to the man Infront of him. His voice trembling with emotion. "To be blunt. I lost my memory, its been like that for several months now. No clue who I was, or where I was from, the only memory i have are three faceless faces and just a deep anger i cant explain. Does that answer, your question?"

Nanashi’s furious reply echoed briefly off the stone walls, the raw emotion in his voice revealing more than his words. Lothar did not flinch, his light blue eyes maintaining their perfect, judging focus on the boy. Outside the doorway, Arthur was visibly struck by the boy's public accusation. The old man pressed himself back against the corridor wall, shrinking into his cloak in a clear act of shame, before moving silently out of sight.
Lothar waited, allowing the heat of Nanashi's outburst to dissipate. He processed the tremor in the boy’s voice and the honest desperation in his eyes, remaining kneeling, a massive figure patiently engaging a cornered creature.
“A loss of memory is a great wound, child, one I have seen countless times,” Lothar stated, his voice now lower, almost conversational, yet dangerously steady. “But you have not answered the central question. You claim this anger is inexplicable, yet you felt it and acted upon it before Arthur's flawed intervention and before you sought his aid. You possessed this dark fury even when your past was a blank page.”
He leaned in slightly, his presence becoming heavier, more demanding of truth. “If you had no memory, why were you seeking danger? Why did you feel the primal need to gather allies against an unknown enemy? Tell me, Nanashi, if you cannot remember the man you were, then what is the end goal of the man you are trying to become?”

Nanashi glared at Lothar. He was having trouble understanding the reason behind this bizarre line of questioning. What did he mean that he had not answered the central question?
"All i know is I had an urge to gather strength. As if something inside me was telling me I wasn't strong enough yet. Finding out about the rift was just me trying to gather information."
Nanashi would ponder a little bit on the last part of the question. Allies? Why did asking about the rift imply he was seeking comrades? And what was the deal with the philosophical question about the man he was trying to become? Wasnt that explained enough with him seeking strength?
"I guess....the man I am trying to become, is someone strong enough to face the man I was? Does that answer your question?"

Lothar watched the boy’s attempt to portray a feeling he clearly only understood on a low level. The reply, “the man I am trying to become, is someone strong enough to face the man I was”, was a perfect lie hidden with a pinch of the truth. A defense mechanism of the amnesiac mind. Pretending he couldn't remember. Lothar had seen this too many times.
He’s still circling the perimeter, Lothar thought, his light blue eyes never wavering from Nanashi’s. He focuses on the 'strength' he seeks, not the 'terror' he is fleeing. He sees a wall ahead, not the chasm behind him. This boy was gathering power and attention with a hidden purpose. Arthur’s intervention had merely accelerated a self-destructive process already underway. Lothar knew that a direct assault on Nanashi’s carefully constructed mental state would only cause him to retreat further behind his lies. He needed to apply pressure, not with logic, but with undeniable reality.
“It answers a part of it,” Lothar said slowly, his voice low yet stern. “It tells me that the man you were is a creature of fear, fear so potent it survived the loss of your memory. And yet, fear is a coward’s master. You seek strength, but have you considered what power truly is?” Lothar shifted, a small movement that nonetheless drew the boy’s eye. He rose slowly from his kneeling position, unfolding his massive frame until he towered over Nanashi, his shadow darkening the area.
“Power is not merely the ability to swing a sword or cast a spell. Power is understanding,” Lothar stated, taking a measured step closer. “Understanding the forces you seek to wield, understanding the consequences of failure, and most importantly, understanding the nature of your own soul.” As he spoke the last word, the air in the chamber abruptly grew heavy. It wasn't merely the feeling of a large man nearby, it was a shift in the very atmosphere.
A low, deep rumble, like distant thunder, began to emanate from Lothar. It wasn't a sound heard with the ears, but a vibration felt in the chest. Then, from the very skin of the great man, a shimmering golden-orange light began to bloom. It started as a halo, quickly intensified, and then coalesced into a visible, Atavistic Flame that wrapped around his body like a cloak.
This was no ordinary fire. It crackled with intense energy, yet the light it cast was warm, not searing. It danced and roared around Lothar, giving him the appearance of a sun-crowned deity, and yet, the stone floor beneath his armored boots did not blacken. The heat was immense, a radiating wave that pressed in on Nanashi, but it did not blister his skin or scorch his clothing. It was the feeling of standing too close to the core of a star: overwhelming, terrifying, and strangely, perfectly contained. Lothar raised one massive, gauntleted hand, the metal glowing faintly within the golden aura.
“Tell me, boy,” he commanded, his voice now deeper, amplified by the sheer force radiating from him. “If the strength you seek is to face the man you were, then what happens after the encounter? What happens when you realize the man you were is not gone? What is your purpose after the battle is won?” He paused, the flames reflecting in his calm, light blue eyes.
“You seek a destination, but you have no map. Let me be clear: you are not seeking strength. You are seeking meaning. And I will not allow you to burn this city down merely because you cannot find yours.”

“Burn this city down?! When you're the one in flames right now. Why would I destroy what's already in ruin!”
Nanashi couldn't hold back, the stress of his current situation passed its breaking point. In a last ditch effort, he strained against the ropes that binded him, chakra slowly leaking from within him, surrounding him as the ropes disintegrated.
Standing up abruptly and poking his finger into the man's chest
“And how dare you spout shit about me like you know about me and my situation. You know less than I do and I know next to nothing about who I was!”
He kept pressing forward as his chakra broke through whatever seal that was restraining it, poking the flaming man's chest more as he pushes him back against the wall of the cell
“And what does divinity have anything to do with my shit, **** any and all gods who think they have any control over what i do.”
Nanashi's chakra was potent enough to start cracking the walls of the room, dust fell from the ceiling as the room shook.
“I’ll rise above them all, kill them and fill that chasm behind me as you so profoundly put it.”

The heavy air of the chamber exploded into light. Lothar's massive, gauntleted hand thrust forward, and the golden, Atavistic Flame surrounding him erupted into an unbearable white-hot brilliance. A sharp, dizzying snap echoed in Nanashi's mind.
The world flashed. He was no longer in the stone hall. He lay on his back on a patch of cold, unfamiliar grass beneath a pale, featureless sky. The scent of ozone and ancient stone had been replaced by damp earth and silence. There was no sign of Lothar, Arthur, or the chamber they had been in. He was utterly alone. The only thing that remained from the encounter was a relentless echo in his head, a lock forced into his mind, holding the key to his past.
The words were clear and insistent, ringing like a hammer blow against the silence:
Riddle
I am the vast, flat table where life gives way to naught, Beneath me, a fortress built not for battle, but for dark thought.
There, in a deep vault, among the Warlocks’ black fire and blue, Lies the silent, lost mirror that will show the man who was you.
The fire burns green-and-black, a poison on the air, But seek not the weapon, seek the key they keep with care.
What place am I, where the living must yield, If the truth of your own soul is to be revealed?

Nanashi held his head as the words continued to echo throughout his brain. What was with these people. Ever since beginning this journey for strength, shit had been getting weird and the people weirder. As the echo slowly begun to fade, he made sure to write down the words, even if he was inclined to be pissed at his captors, they seemed strong.
Reading over the words, he couldnt help but laugh at the situation a bit.
"Whatever this is expects me to find this place, while i have little to no memory of the local geography and junk. But i suppose....remembering who i am is the best lead i have had since the rift in Chungsu. Now which way to go..."
Nanashi grabs a nearby stick and holds it vertical to the ground, before letting it go, eyeing the direction it fell. "The only tried and true method."
With that, he got up and dusted himself off, and headed in the direction the stick pointed, wondering where he had the idea that that was the best way to decide.

Explore an abandoned site (2)
Part 1
Coming from Qindong, Leblanc had arrived with a goal in mind, a plan of how she wanted to create her image, a legacy of her name. As she was travelling, ti began to rain, a light sprinkling that turned into a moderate pour to form puddles along the roads. The streets of Chungsu shimmered under the cool rain of autumn, a soft light pooling across pavements and spilling into the bricked cracks of the lower city roads. Every alley was a vein that ran toward the Goddess’s Rotunda, yet between those veins the underworld pulsed quietly. Tonight, LeBlanc moved there like a shadow in the corners. Her cloak drew wet trails over the stairs as she decended into a service tunnel long abandoned by the architects. Water dripped in slow, patient notes, echoing off pillars eaten by moss and the black fungus of the old cellars. The tunnels had once stored the city’s wine and grain, now they served rats and ghosts. Somewhere ahead lay the chamber she had purchased from a bankrupt vintner, a foundation for something new, a palace of secrets hidden beneath the Goddess’s marble feet.
The walls trembled faintly when she pressed her palm against them. Chakra lines answered, faint blue light rippling through the stones, showing the old seals still half alive. Someone had warded the place before the Cataclysm, maybe to guard contraband, maybe to hide something wiser. She moved her hands onto the wall to insert her chakra and reached into the pattern to rip apart the script.
( Kekkai Kireme no Jutsu ) - Barrier Shatter Technique
Rank: B - S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 20 - 40
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will insert their chakra into a active barrier to then interfere with the source and cancel the barrier shattering its shell.
Note: Must make direct contact. Regular Fuuinjutsu users can dispel Barrier Techniques B-Rank and below. Uzumaki bios can dispel up to A-Rank. Advanced Sealing Specialists can dispel up to S rank Barriers.
The script flared, then melted away like frost. The smell of old dust and wet iron rushed out. Inside the chamber the air was heavier, a stagnant pool of time itself. Shelves lay toppled, barrels split, and shattered glass glittered like ice under her lantern. A dozen faded banners still clung to the wall, the sigil of the old vintner’s guild curling in decay. She walked among them slowly, tracing fingers along the wreckage, already imagining velvet curtains and black lacquer tables where spies would once sit to trade lies for ryo. A faint shuffle stirred the dust behind her. Two silhouettes lurked at the archway, street scavangers maybe, or worse. She turned her head slightly, the Sharingan blooming crimson.
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C - A Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 - 30 ( -5 per turn for 1T and 2T, 10 per turn to keep active for 3T )
Damage: N/A
Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill
Note: C rank usage is for 1T Sharingan, B rank usage is reserved for 2T Sharingan. A Rank usage is reserved for 3T Sharingan.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a +10 chakra consumption per turn penalty
Note: The user is bound by the abilities and limits of the stage of sharingan he possesses, stated in the rules of the KG.
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user performs two handseals causing it to appear as if a swirl of leaves surrounds the opponent. The swirl eventually falls away, and after a few seconds, the opponent sees the image of whatever they fear the most, shocking them and potentially causing them to faint.
The first man froze mid-step, pupils widening as the genjutsu bloomed like red silk across his mind. In his vision the cellar erupted into fire, barrels screaming like dying beasts. He dropped his knife, stumbled, and fell to his knees muttering prayers to Aureliana. The second fled before she could put another illusion onto him, his shouts fading up the stairs. LeBlanc sighed softly; sometimes fear was the cleanest weapon as she weaved seals with her hands. She crouched near the fainted scavanger, searching his pockets. A set of counterfeit permits, stamped with Haesu’s dock insignia, fell out. Even the rats of the city carried pieces of the larger web. She pocketed them carefully, proof that the coastal trade still flowed through hands willing to sin. She walked the room once more, forming seals and looking for clear clean spots, marking its corners with faint sparks of flame to dry the dampness.
( Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: The user first performs six hand seals Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger and they create a volley of small fireballs, which are sent flying in an unpredictable manner assaulting the enemy. In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can also be concealed within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.
The petals of fire drifted from her fingers, tiny bursts that caught on cobwebs and burned with orange light. When they faded, warmth lingered. It would be enough until she could bring craftsmen down to rebuild. For now the room belonged to her. She placed one black rose on the cracked counter, a symbol and a promise both. Above, thunder rolled across the Rotunda. The rain thickened, pouring through gaps in the stones like tears. LeBlanc tilted her face upward, feeling each drop cool against her skin. A whisper ran through her thoughts, perhaps from memory, perhaps from something older than memory, beauty grows best in ruin. She smiled at that, a small crooked smile that even she did not fully trust.
By the time she climbed back to the surface, the city was wearing mist. Statues of angels loomed through the haze, their marble eyes reflecting the lantern light like watchful spirits. LeBlanc walked north toward the merchant quarter, her cloak heavy with rain and dust. Each step left was quickly washed away by rain, erasing any trace she had been there or where she was going. With the plan starting to take form, she looked to enact the next step.

Part 2
Night arrived slowly over Chungsu, the stone and marble streets cooling beneath lantrnlight while the higher towers still caught the last pale gold rays of the days’s glow. Below that splendor, beneath counting houses and perfumed guild halls, the Black Rose Salon breathed its first true night of life. Music drifted softly through old stone corridors, strings and low drums tuned to echo rather than announce. The walls still carried the scent of dust and old wine, though soft incense was lit to give the first night a welcoming air. LeBlanc watched from behind a screen framed by carved obsidian, fingers resting lightly on a crystal goblet she had not touched.
Guests arrived carefully varying from dock clerks from Haesu who claimed they were only here to drink, off duty guards from the Wall who pretended curiosity rather than intent to a junior customs assessor who laughed too loudly and sweated through his collar. None of them believed they were important enough to be noticed, and that was the point, Chungsu rewarded invisiblity as much as brilliance. LeBlanc wore a different face tonight, dark hair pinned high, eyes softened to something forgetable. A merchant’s widow, wealthy enough to host, unthreatening enough to confide in.
The Salon was not loud, because it didn't need to be, there were goals to establish with this first night. Cushioned alcoves invited proximity, and that closeness loosened tongues. Servants moved silently with trays of wine from the Noodle Panhandle and spiced spirits that claimed origins in Qindong. Each bottle had been selected not for rarity, but for memory. People talked more freely when reminded of home. LeBlanc listened, her Sharingan hidden beneath a thin veil of chakra from a transformation technique as she traced patterns in speech. Who complained about tariffs, who joked about inspections never happening on time to who mentioned lost manifests and shrugged like it was weather.
A man named Kesto sat nearest the inner wall, fingers always brushing the signet ring he wore despite having no title. A mid level port auditor, he had authority enough to delay cargo and not enough to feel safe doing so. LeBlanc approached him with a practiced smile, letting the music swell just enough to feel intimate.
“You look like someone counting numbers that never add up,” she said softly.
He laughed, relieved to be seen. “If they did, I would not be here.”
They spoke of wine first, as she subtly shifted the conversation between each subject, then of how the Goddess’s order prized efficiency. Then of how difficult it was to explain missing crates when the ledgers arrived already altered. His voice dropped without him noticing. When she touched his wrist lightly, he did not pull away.
The touch was just enough, practiced where his world tilted just enough. Kesto’s breath slowed, his thoughts lining up like open pages and he spoke of Haesu shipments flagged for review, of signatures appearing twice on the same day, of a senior clerk in Solana who always seemed to know which documents to ignore. LeBlanc listened, nodding sympathetically, committing every name to memory. She let him feel clever for noticing patterns, even as she guided which ones mattered.
Across the room, two guards from Shaohai argued quietly over dice, a source of information that started to have a loose tonuge. Their laughter carried strain as they drank faster than the others in the Salon. LeBlanc signaled a server, and soon found herself seated between them, refilling cups and asking idle questions about patrol rotations. One mentioned how boring the night watch had become. The other complained about ryo never stretching far enough. She sympathized, mentioning investors who paid well for discretion, teasing their imaginations with what a well paid employee could look like. Deciding to push it further, she used a genjutsu to seal the deal.

Description: This is a simple and not to difficult to discern genjutsu. The user places the target in an illusion where they see the world around them heavily distorted, preventing the target from discerning his surroundings while within the illusion. The technique also gives the impression of the target sinking in quicksand and thus acts as a means to immobilize them slowly.
The dice blurred as the guards saw a future where overtime was rewarded, where a quiet favor meant a heavy purse. They did not realize the images were not their own. By the time the illusion faded, they were already agreeing to escort certain crates without logging them, convinced the idea had been theirs first.
Later, deeper in the Salon, LeBlanc met with a trio of merchants who claimed neutrality but lived on margins thin as paper. She spoke plainly to them, no illusion this time where Chungsu was changing, Solanaceae valued order, but order required lubrication. Information was that oil. In exchange for early warnings about inspections and access to port gossip, she offered protection, not from the Goddess, but from chaos. She wasn't foolish enough to fake her reputation was that grand enough to prevent any intervention from Aureliana, at least not yet. They hesitated, then one asked what happened if they refused.
LeBlanc smiled, sadly. “Nothing,” she said. “Until it does.”
It was simple enough to know that they would think the worst case, where Leblanc knew that using their own imagination against them would prove the most fruitful. They signed the contracts she provided, ink drying beneath glyphs that looked decorative but bound the paper to her chakra. The Velvet Currency, what she called her favours and forms of leverage or currency took many forms. Ryo passed hands. Secrets passed more quietly.
Everything was going smoothly and the Salon successfully had put her into the first steps of creating an underground network where she could manipulate the strings. She chose the invitations carefully with some well places letters slipped into pockets, left on certain desks, it was so she could make sure noting could go wrong but it was too perfect. Then the problem came near midnight, a man LeBlanc had not invited entered the Salon with too much confidence. He wore Solana’s administrative colors, though improperly fastened. A bailiff, or maybe a watcher perhaps or just an opportunist hoping to extort. He moved through the room counting exits and when his eyes met LeBlanc’s, they sharpened.
She did not panic. She approached him directly, voice low.
“You look lost.”
“I look observant,” he replied.
She didnt know exactly who he was, but she had to make sure that she didnt cause any scene for the party, nor could she allow this unknown to be freely walking around. She had no information on this intruder but he had to be dealt with subtly and quietly. She laughed softly, then let her gaze harden for just a breath, allowing a genjutsu to quietly be cast on the man as he turned to look at some guards that were laughing a bit too loudly over her.

The Salon shifted around him as she subtly cast the genjutsu on him, walls stretched longer than they should conversations echoed twice. The man blinked, unsettled, his confidence bleeding away into suspicion. LeBlanc leaned close, whispering that he was welcome to enjoy the night, but some places were not meant to be measured. When the illusion lifted, he nodded stiffly and left, convinced he had narrowly avoided a mistake he could not name.
By dawn, the music faded. Guests departed heavier with wine and lighter with secrets. LeBlanc stood alone again, the Salon quiet save for the settling stone. Ledgers lay open on the central table, names and routes marked in careful script. Haesu customs now bent slightly toward her. Two guard rotations belonged to her coin. Three merchants owed favors they did not yet understand. She extinguished the lanterns one by one, listening to the city above waking. Chungsu would never know the Black Rose by daylight. That was as it should be. Power here did not announce itself. It whispered, circulated, and returned with interest. LeBlanc allowed herself a rare moment of stillness, then gathered the ledgers and vanished into the inner corridors, already planning who would be invited next.

Leblancs organization, The Black Rose, learned of danger the way cities did, which is to say quietly, indirectly, and always too late for comfort. LeBlanc first sensed it in the legers, during the hour before dawn when the Salon slept and gave her a chance to wind down and reflect on how the evening went. She had taken to reviewing the books herself at that hour, not because she distrusted her scribes, but because fatigue loosened patterns others missed. If anything was amiss, or if anything was wrong, then ultimately it fell on her for not noticing or not taking a close enough look at her business after all.
One column failed to align.
The discrepancy was minor, but enough to be noticed, a margin correction applied in a hand that was too neat, too clean. It did not remove value, in her eyes it clarified it. That was what unsettled her because from her experience, theives left scars, from cutting a problem away while a clarification left a trail to follow.
She set the ledger aside and opened another, then a third and the patern repeated but never in the same place, it was never large enough to draw a casual eye. Someone was mapping the Salon without naming it as she narrowed her eyes to reread the ledgers making sure she wasn't being paranoid. That kind of work did not belong to smugglers or rivals, too complex for them, it belonged to clerks who answered to something patient. By the time the city above stirred to life, LeBlanc had already narrowed the source from the lists of guests she had, finding the one common source that fit the hole.
Tovel, a customs clerk who was an early recruit. The sort of man who survived by being useful without being seen. He had been reliable as she sighed, which was why the shift mattered. He had begun asking questions he did not need answered, and answering ones no one had asked aloud. Worse, his inquiries intresected and mixed into the auxiliary audit corps, a Solanaceae apparatus tasked with irregular trade review. Not inquisitors, not judges, just recorders.
Solanaceae did not crush threats immediately, from Leblancs investigations, it documented them.
LeBlanc dressed without illusion that morning and walked the upper streets of Chungsu as herself, letting the crisp morning settle against her skin like everyone else. Marble and puddles reflected light upward, stone and bricked inlays fractured it into softer hues from the golden morning sun. Above all of it, the white tower burned steadily, watching without appearing to watch. Aureliana’s presence was not oppressive, it was attentive like a mothers gaze. The audit cell operated from a converted counting house near the Celestial Rotunda, chosen for convenience rather than secrecy. LeBlanc observed it from across a terace where officials took midday tea. Guards rotated with practiced boredom while clerks arrived in pairs. There were no heavy wards, no sanctification seals. This was a probe, gathering of information, not a strike.
She needed to know how close it was and how much information they had.
Late afternoon, she approached the counting house carrying a folio bound in gray twine, posture small, steps measured. She let her shoulders slope, her breathing shallow, adopting the quiet tension of someone afraid to take up space.

Inside, the air smelled of dust and old parchment, shelves leaned under the weight of records that would never be read twice. Pens scratched steadily, a junior overseer paced the back of the room with a sigil at his collar catching the light when he turned. LeBlanc presented her papers and waited. The clerk who accepted them barely glanced up.
She listened instead.
Names repeated.
Routes overlapped.
The rhythm of the room settled into her bones. She learned who paused before writing and who never did. When the clerk stepped away to retrieve a seal, LeBlanc let her fingers brush the open ledger as if steadying herself.
Her Sharingan opened beneath a thin veil of chakra.

The page unfolded like a map. Notes layered beneath notes, subtle alterations threaded through legitimate entries. The Black Rose was not named, but its shape was unmistakable. Unregistered wine hall. Irregular guard presence. Discrepancies flagged for further clarification.
Clarification meant escalation. She closed the ledger gently as the clerk returned and stepped away without haste. Nothing had been taken. Everything had been learned.
That evening she sent word to Tovel, he arrived late, rain clinging to his coat with his eyes darting too often for comfort. The Salon was alive tonight, music low and intimate, lamps turned down to amber warmth. Laughter drifted from the outer rooms. LeBlanc guided Tovel into a private chamber lined with polished stone and fractured mirrors. The room multiplied every movement, every tremor of unease.
“You look tired,” she said, pouring wine.
“Long days,” he replied, forcing a laugh that landed wrong.
She spoke gently, asking about his work, about the auditors. She did not accuse as accusations hardened defenses. Instead, she asked what they had wanted to know. His breath caught, his mouth opened, then closed.

Description: This broadly refers to a range of genjutsu performed with the Sharingan. It has also been shown to be performed through the Sharingan's higher evolutions: the Mangekyō Sharingan and the Rinnegan. By establishing eye contact with a target, the Sharingan user traps them within a sustained Genjutsu of the user's creation. Sharingan Genjutsu are stronger than other Genjutsu, being difficult to break in comparison due to the sinister chakra powering them. When utilized through the Mangekyo Sharingan, these Genjutsu are enhanced and deal an additional 40 damage. However, the time dilation effects and similar effects/ability of Tsukiyomi and custom variants cannot be replicated through these illusions. When used through the EMS, these illusions deal an addition 50 damage. In the case of Supplementary and none damaging use, these Genjutsu can be exploited for one of various purposes, such as: causing temporary paralysis in the target, forceful extraction of information, relaying memories, removing Genjutsu placed on the target by others, and controlling a target's actions. Controlling a target's abilities in limited to Summoning and other none Creation/Ninja entities. The 3 Tomoe Sharingan can forcibly controls Basic and Ancient Summoning's actions as long as they sustain this technique. MS can affect up to Mythical Contracts while EMS can effect even Legendary Summonings. This control is limited to the ability to control their physical movements with limited access to their ninjutsu, using only skills related to the Summoning itself.
In the event of Bijuu, Mangekyo Sharingan users are able to use their MS to cast powerful enough Genjutsu that even Tailed Beasts cannot break their hosts from it, being ensnarled as well. These Genjutsu can also seize control of a Tailed Beast by temporarily severing its connection to the host without the need for eye contact. If the Jinchuriki has not entered any Chakra Shroud state or higher, the user can cast a powerful Genjutsu that severs their connection and prevents access to the Bijuu as well as any of it's skills for 3 turns. Should a Chakra Shroud or Incomplete Jinchuriki transformation occur, the user is capable of preventing full access to it's Bijuu Skills for 3 turns by suppressing it. This presents itself in an inability to utilize the Tailed Beast Bomb variants, a Bijuu Skill such as Sand or Coral as well as access higher transformations. Should the user have EMS, this control is extended to blocking access for double the time and should a Complete Transformation occur, the user is capable of suppressing it's form and ending the Transformation in it's entirety and forces the health drawbacks to trigger as well as a reduced max health and chakra by 25% from fatigue. However, Bijuu Suppression can only be done by sustaining the technique at the cost of 2 moves per turn and prevents Sharingan Genjutsu for 5 turns. Note: While powerful, the effects of Sharingan Genjutsu only last while the user actively sustains the technique, preventing usage of other Ninjutsu at the same time. This indiscriminately prevents the use of chakra in other techniques outside of basic Taijutsu only. Note: When used in the NW, this can be used to tame a wild Tailed Beast and allow the user to summon it in an enraged state for 4 turns, only being capable of using Sharingan and non chakra enhanced Bukijutsu during this time, Ninjutsu being barred while controlling the target. This beast is summoned at max powers and has access to it's Skills and one Bijuu Pathway, determined through Official Roll in the NRP Discord. This ability can currently only be done by Madara Uchiha in the Ninja World. Note: Can only be used once per turn. MS and EMS use can only be done once every 4 turns. Note: Requires Eye Contact and activation of 3 Tomoe and higher Sharingan.
The room softened around them as her genjutsu changed his world, his thoughts spilled unguarded as tangled fear and rationalization. He had not intended to betray her, she smirked as they never do. He had intended to survive, the auditors had smiled and said his name kindly. He had given them fragments, never the whole and foolishly he believed he could manage both sides. LeBlanc showed him what came next through a layered genjutsu. Not death, worse for him, endless relevance. A future where he was questioned until he contradicted himself, then quietly erased. Records outlived people and he would not.

When he broke, it was quiet in the corner of the Salon, no eyes garnered or drawn. Tears tracked down his face as he begged forgiveness he did not understand he was asking for. LeBlanc made her choice decisively, she did not kill him because she knew killing him would raise questions. Instead, she rewrote him, rewired and redesigned to fit her purpose.
By the time Tovel left the chamber, he believed he had chosen bravery. He would redirect suspicion toward a louder operation, a rival den closer to the surface, careless with bribes and proud of its visibility. The auditors would follow that trail eagerly. They always did. Near dawn, LeBlanc returned to the counting house under cover of rain and this time, she did not bother with humility.

The guard at the stairwell blinked, convinced he had already checked the corridor. She passed behind him like a held breath. In the records room, lanternlight flickered as thunder rolled distantly. She worked quickly, fingers precise, she did not destroy the audit. That would invite scrutiny, so instead, she fractured it. Dates contradicted themselves, marginal notes conflicted with earlier references. Seals remained intact but paired with inconsistencies subtle enough to evade immediate notice. Enough to make the entire report feel unreliable.
When the auditors reviewed the files later that day, they argued. By evening, their focus shifted. The Black Rose slipped from relevance back into rumor. LeBlanc returned to the Salon exhausted, illusion-worn, head aching with half-faded reflections and dying for a glass of wine. She sat alone as the city above continued its perfect routines, unaware of how close it had come to seeing beneath its own feet as she swirled a glass of deep crimson. The Black Rose endured, for now, but she knew Solanaceae could look down. And glass, once stressed, never forgot the shape of the crack.

Chungsu never truly slept, even when the streets emptied and the merchants shuttered their stalls, the city breathed through stone and light, through the steady warmth that poured down from the Rotunda above. Marble terraces held the day’s heat like memory, and the lanterns along the upper causeways burned with patient certainty. LeBlanc moved through that certainty as a contradiction, with her steps light andher presence trimmed to the barest outline of relevance. The rumor had come to her sideways, as all worthwhile truths did.
There was a whole library of information that was updated added to daily, where all of the important rumours, knowledge, sightings and whispers recorded what happened. If it was a ledger that closed too cleanly, a dockmaster in Haesu whose name stopped appearing in routine audits despite his continued influence, if something vanished from records, it had been placed there by design and that design had a name, whispered only once in a room where wine was poured too carefully.
The Index Lunaris.
A registry beneath the Goddess’s hand, or so it was said in whispered tones and hushed conversations. A living document maintained by Aureliana’s most trusted scribes, tracking irregularities without judgment. Assets that moved too often, people who gathered influence without title, routes that bent the expected flow of trade. Not criminals, not enemies but variables.
LeBlanc intended to read it, as it was a tempting source of imformation.
The Celestial Rotunda rose from the heart of Solanaceae like a thought given form. White stone climbed into the sky, its surface etched with prayers and proofs, its crown radiating that ever present warmth which calmed the mind and softened doubt. Petitioners believed it a blessing but LeBlanc knew better.
She paused at the edge of the plaza, letting the light wash over her, it pressed gently against her chakra, not probing, simply acknowledging. The Goddess’s attention passed often like a mother’s glance across a room. Warm, certain and unquestioning. LeBlanc lowered her gaze and changed.

Her silver hair dulled to a mousy brown, pulled back into a functional braid, her posture shortened, shoulders curving inward just enough to suggest habit rather than fear. Ink stained her fingers in uneven patches as she pretended to be a junior scribe, overworked and undernoticed. The kind of person who belonged to hallways and stacks, not decisions. She joined the night intake through a side arch, where the Rotunda’s auxiliary wing swallowed workers by the dozen. Inside, the air cooled, heavy with vellum dust and incense with lanterns hung at measured intervals, their crystal housings etched with fuinjutsu script. Desks filled the chamber in neat rows, each attended by a quiet figure copying, tallying, sealing.
LeBlanc took her place among them.
The first hour passed in silence while she copied manifests she did not need, learning the rhythm of the room. The scratch of quills, the soft tap of seals pressed into wax. The way the senior archivist cleared his throat before changing aisles. These details mattered as infiltration was not entry, it was belonging.
She suppressed her chakra as much as she could, not intent on being found out by any sudden sensory types while her sharingan stayed dormant too. Near the third bell, a transfer team arrived from the inner stacks, pale thread bound their folios, catching the lantern glow with a lunar sheen. LeBlanc felt the shift in the room before it happened. The scribes straightened in place, voices lowered further. This was sensitive work and so she did not move closer. Instead, she watched risking the chance this time with her sharingan.

In that moment everything seemed to crawl as her vision sharpened in a shade of red, tomoe turning slowly behind transformed eyes. Reading the movement of scribes, she traced their actions writing down important and secret information only they were meant to be writing. Each document referenced another, weaving a quiet map of influence. Names flickered beneath ink. Symbols repeated. Crow. Serpent. Lotus. She memorized the pattern and let the dojutsu fade. One of the folios was set aside on a secondary table, its handler called away by a curt gesture from the archivist. LeBlanc did not rush, she was patient, she finished the line she was copying. Let the ink on the page dry and stood only when it felt natural to do so. At the table, she brushed the edge of the folio with practiced care. The thread hummed faintly. This was not the Index itself, but a limb of it, a nightly digest of changes awaiting reconciliation. Valuable, but incomplete.
She needed the core.
The auxiliary wing connected to the revision chamber through a lattice corridor marked by a simple guard post with only one guard. Not because it was unimportant, but because nothing ever happened here. Divine order did not expect thieves so LeBlanc adjusted her satchel and approached with a mild frown focusing her eyes into her target.

The guard blinked, his certainty smoothing into recognition that never quite formed as he nodded convinced she had already passed moments earlier. The lattice door opened at her touch and inside, the air was different, cooler or heavier. Cabinets lined the walls from floor to ceiling, each drawer marked with lunar phases rather than numbers.
This was the Index Lunaris.
LeBlanc moved slowly, reverently. Rushing here would have been an insult, and insults were noticed. She traced her fingers along the cabinets until she found the phase she sought. Waning crescent. Irregularities pending review. The drawer slid free without resistance. Inside lay a slate thin as a blade, its surface alive with shifting script. This was no static record. Entries rearranged themselves as context changed, lines brightening or dimming with relevance. LeBlanc’s breath slowed to a careful count.
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: C - S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15 - 40 ( Equal Cost for Each Additional Turn Sustained )
Damage points: 30 - 80
This ability can currently only be done by Madara Uchiha in the Ninja World. Note: Can only be used once per turn. MS and EMS use can only be done once every 4 turns. Note: Requires Eye Contact and activation of 3 Tomoe and higher Sharingan.
The slate opened to her gaze, layers peeling back. The Black Rose was there, though not by name. A mercantile anomaly. A clustering of social exchanges beneath the merchant quarter. Flagged for observation. Not intervention. Her agents appeared as footnotes. Dock officials. Guild factors. Guards from Haesu who drank too often in one place. Routes from Qindong marked as statistically inefficient but tolerated. The Goddess’s oversight was vast, but it was still bound by pattern.
LeBlanc began to steal.
She did not remove the slate. That would have been noticed within minutes. Instead, she copied. Not words, but relationships. Which names were tied together. Which symbols recurred. Which routes drew attention simply by existing. This was intelligence in its purest form. Footsteps echoed faintly beyond the lattice. LeBlanc closed the drawer halfway, enough to dim the slate’s glow, and waited. The steps paused. A voice murmured to another. Then moved on. She exhaled through her nose and continued. The alteration came last.
( Hijutsu: Fūinjutsu Kai ) – Secret Technique: Sealing Release
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A (same chakra as the seal thats to be released)
Damage: N/A
Description: The user can use this technique to dispel sealing techniques of various natures by forcefully breaking open the seal or, in extreme cases, erasing/cancelling them. For seals placed on a living medium, the user must make contact with the seal. For other seals, being in short range of it is enough. Normally, to perform this technique one needs to do the confrontation or the tiger handseal.
Note: Regular Fuuinjutsu users can dispel Sealing Techniques B-Rank and below. Uzumaki bios can dispel up to A-Rank. Advanced Sealing Specialists can dispel up to standard S rank Sealing Technique.
With careful chakra threading, she adjusted context rather than content, The Black Rose’s anomaly was reframed to be not a threat, but a pressure valve. A social convergence that reduced unrest elsewhere and a benign curiosity that helped the lands of Solanaceae maintain equilibrium. The seals resisted for a heartbeat, then accepted the logic.
She closed the drawer fully and smoothed the cabinet face until it matched the others, the hum settled back into its prior pitch. LeBlanc retraced her steps through the lattice, the genjutsu on the guard being released and unraveling behind her like a forgotten thought. The guard remained at his post, bored and certain, she passed without acknowledgement.
By the time dawn’s first light filtered through the Rotunda’s high windows, she was once more a junior scribe finishing an unimportant tally. When the bell rang to dismiss the night intake, she joined the stream outward, her presence already dissolving into irrelevance.
Outside, Chungsu brightened beneath the Goddess’s care, the plaza warmed from both the sun coming across the city and the glow. Birds called from the upper arches, the city believed itself unchanged. LeBlanc descended instead, back into the merchant quarter and further still, into the velvet hush of the Black Rose Salon. Candles guttered as she entered, their flames bowing to her passing. She unfolded a private ledger and began to write, copying what she had stolen in a hand that was neither hers nor anyone else’s. The Index Lunaris would continue to watch. But its gaze would slide over her work, misdirected by its own devotion to balance. Divine oversight remained intact, only its attention had shifted, just enough.
LeBlanc closed the ledger and allowed herself a thin smile.
The three made landfall at the Ruins of Chungsuu where Alucard - the only one out of the three of them - had a clear goal in sight which was to reclaim the eyes of the gods.
Well.. here i am again. Bestow to me a purpose in this greyed out domain you call a planet..
He whiffed his hands in a rather confusing way whilst waltzing towards the ruins. Maybe there was something there.. Lilith and Gunko went after him on foot as he had dismanteled his flying platform.
This post marks the beginning of a mission using the following elements:
Meet with a major faction representative (4)
Deal with a problem in a tactical manner instead of direct confrontation (4)
The summons did not arrive in ink.
That alone told LeBlanc it was not an attempt on her life, nor a command issued from any height of authourity that mattered. It came instead as pressure, subtle and deliberate, the sort that pressed inward rather than down. Three measured knocks against the inner stone of the Black Rose’s celler, spaced precisely enough to mark intention rather than chance, followed by the slide of a narrow ribbon beneath the door. Black silk, worn soft by handling, stamped with a seal she did not recognize but understood instinctively. It was not divine, not bureaucratic, and not born of Solanaceae’s immaculate halls. It belonged to the undercity, to the layer of Chungsu that still remembered how to speak without being overheard.
LeBlanc did not open the Salon that night.
She moved through the Black Rose alone, extinguished lanterns one by one until the room settled into its natural hush she enjoyed, shelving catching only the faint glow of crimsons from her wine and the slow drifting light of her fireflies that hovered beneath the ceiling for her lightsource. Chairs were drawn inward, mirrors angeled away from the walls, and the room’s warmth dimmed to something watchful. The Black Rose was not a place of indulgence tonight. It was a listening post, and LeBlanc allowed herself a moment to stand at its center and feel how much of it now responded to her presence alone.
The ribbon contained directions traced in charcoal, leading not upward toward marble and gold, but downward into a forgotten counting house beneath the merchant quarter. Once, before the Cataclysm shattered Chungsu’s spine, it had been used to tally guild debts and trade tallies. Now it lay buried beneath sealed corridors, a flooded stairwell, and three dead routes that only those familiar with the city’s bones would dare to walk. It was not meant to keep her out. It was meant to test whether she belonged. She folded the ribbon and slipped it into her sleeve, already mapping the path in her mind from memory alone. They had chosen the wrong test.
LeBlanc departed the Salon through a wine passage long abandoned by vintners and remembered only by stone and dust. Her cloak shifted as she moved, drinking shadow until her outline softened into another absence among many, her chakra pressed low and even beneath her skin. Tonight was not about power or spectacle. It was about posture, about showing herself without revealing anything worth taking.
The counting house waited in silence.
Inside the room the air carried the spoiled smell of paper and metal, the walls were scratched with ledger marks that had survivd fire, flood and neglect. Four figures stood around a table, their expressions sharp and guarded looking towards her as she entered, their clothing chosen for utility rather than statement. LeBlanc felt the tension before a word was spoken cracking a half smile, the way their eyes tracked her entrance with a look that gave away more than words could, not of recognition but of fear. One of them, a woman with scarred knuckles, spoke up first, without even a greeting causing Leblancs half smile to disappear. Such savages that couldnt even acknowledge proper ettiquite.
“You’re late,” she said.
LeBlanc tilted her head just enough to acknowledge the statement without accepting its tone, stepping closer to the table without sitting, her fingers resting lightly on the etched stone.
“You asked for discretion,” she replied calmly. “Not speed.”
The correction landed softly, but it shifted the room all the same as she could see them exchange looks sideways at each other. A man opposite her leaned forward, but not enough to be within reach as he rest one hand on the table.
“We know who you are,” he said. “Or close enough.”
LeBlanc’s gaze passed over each of them in turn measuring their posture, breath, hesitation, before settling again on the man who had spoken slowly taking her time to reply.
“Then you know why I am here,” she answered in her best chilling, cold and calculated tone. “And why you are afraid.”
Silence followed, it was clear that despite these representatives wanting to parley, they had no idea how to start. Graciously, Leblanc had a small smirk as she filled the gap and started the dialogue.
“You are being crushed from both sides,” she continued. “Solanaceae tightens its order above you while your own network fractures beneath your feet. Runners sell routes twice, ledgers no longer agree with themselves, and someone within this room is feeding your movements to anyone willing to pay. You did not summon me for protection. You summoned me because you are bleeding and cannot find the wound.”
The woman’s jaw tightened at LeBlanc's evaluation. “That’s why you’re here,” she snapped. “We want it dealt with quietly.”
LeBlanc finally straightened up drawing to her full height, her fingers leaving the stone as she met the woman’s eyes. A power posture that showed her full attention.
“And what,” she asked softly, “do you offer in return?”
The answer came too quickly.
“Access.”
For a moment, LeBlanc almost laughed, instead she lifted her hand slightly, and began pattering her fingers in the air as if she was almost playing an imaginary piano.

The counting house shifted like a slight blur, not dramatically, but just enough that each of them felt it. The etched ledgers on the walls seemed to ddistort, their markings bleeding faintly as if freshly cut, while the coins on the table caught the light and then lost it again. Fear surfaced in their expressions before any of them could stop it.
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10 (+5 if you use it double)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion over an area that allows him to manipulate the way an area looks to fool an opponent. He can only change the way the terrain looks, and not any other feature.
“I do not need your access,” LeBlanc said. “I already have it. What I require is alignment.”
The man opposite her recoiled, just slightly.
“You want control.”
“No,” she corrected. “I want stability.”
She allowed the illusion to deepen by a fraction, just enough to let each of them glimpse what disorder truly looked like.
In the reflection cast across the table, the map almost seemed to come alive, one saw guards flooding the tunnels they relied on, another saw their runners discarded in alleyways, while a third saw nothing at all, an empty ledger where his name should have been. That absence terrified him more than fire ever could.
“I will solve your problem,” LeBlanc continued, her voice steady. “But not by cutting it out in public. That draws attention and invites replacement. Instead, I will show you who among you is breaking the structure, and you will decide what to do with that knowledge.”
Her gaze shifted to the woman with scarred knuckles.
“You already suspect who it is,” she added quietly.
The woman swallowed. “He’s family.”
LeBlanc nodded once. “Which is why he chose you.”
Eyes turned to the silent man who had been there but not spoken yet. Arguments followed as they always did, fear turning to bargaining and bargaining to denial which was almost like a familiar melody that LeBlanc was accustome to now with her dealings. She let them speak until their words lost shape, until desperation thinned them out. Then she ended it with a single, look into his eyes to gather the information without any descrution to the environment, the most efficient way.
( Bōshi Magen: Nenshou Kamihada ) Demonic Eye Illusion: Burning Paper Body
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user casts a Genjutsu that makes the opponent believe that their body is made of paper and is burning, reducing their dexterity of movement, stopping them from performing handseals.
Note: Requires three tomoe Sharingan and eye contact
The man gasped, his breath hitching as sweat broke across his brow from the mental fatigue of the genjutsu, the smell of smoke in his mouth and lungs although only all in his head.
“No,” he whispered. “I didn’t say anything.”
No accusation had been made. LeBlanc watched calmly as panic dismantled him, the illusion offering no fire or blood, only erasure. Routes denied. Names forgotten. Protection withdrawn. A man who had sold loyalty for safety now faced a future without either, and he cracked beneath it with astonishing speed. They did not kill him. They did not need to. When the illusion lifted, the truth lay bare on the table alongside every route, bribe, and whisper he had sold upward in hopes of survival. LeBlanc stepped back as the others turned on him, voices raised, trust collapsing into anger.
She did not interfere, that mattered and when they looked back to her, something had changed. The fear remained, but beneath it sat relief.
“We owe you,” the woman said at last.
LeBlanc shook her head slowly. “You cannot afford to owe me,” she replied. “Instead, you will belong to me.”
The words settled into the room like dust after collapse. She outlined the terms simply. Their coalition would dissolve. Their routes would be folded into the Black Rose’s ledgers. Their debts erased, their runners reassigned, their names retained only where useful. No speeches. No threats. Only inevitability.
“And if we refuse,” someone asked quietly.
LeBlanc met his eyes without flinching. “You already tried that.” There was no argument left, turning to the door she took the moment to exit with the soft click clack of her heels echoing in the room like a lock she had just placed around their necks.
By the time she returned to the Black Rose, dawn crept along Solana’s spires above, the city gleaming untouched by the quiet rearrangement beneath it. LeBlanc stood at the center of the Salon as workers reset chairs and cleaned glasses, the space returning to its familiar shape. When she activated her Sharingan once more, it was not for illusion but observation, and she watched thin threads of influence stretch outward from the Rose into Chungsu’s bones. They were fragile, still forming, but real, and as she exhaled slowly she understood that the Black Rose was no longer a concept or a rumor. It had become a structure, subtle and necessary, a shadow that the city would learn to accommodate rather than remove, and with that realization the first arc closed not in conquest, but in quiet permanence.
This post marks the beginning of a mission using the following elements:
Perform administrative duties (1)
Identify a dissenter (3)
LeBlanc stood alone in the Salon’s lowest chamber, a room once used for cask inventory and never renovated for comfort. Stone walls bore the marks of old fuinjutsu seals, half-scraped, half-forgotten. A single lantern burned at the table, its light falling over ledgers, routing slips, and coded manifests laid out with deliberate care. This was not a night for illusion meant to impress. It was a night for structure. The Black Rose had grown quickly in its first weeks. Too quickly. Coin moved in quiet loops, information passed hand to hand and people assumed purpose without instruction. That kind of growth always hid fractures. LeBlanc began with the paper.
She reviewed payment routes first, tracing how ryo moved from the Salon’s public face into private holding, then outward again through trusted couriers into secondary caches beneath Chungsu’s merchant quarter. Each route was rewritten, clarified, narrowed. Redundancies were removed, the names were replaced with symbols. Roles were reassigned so no one held more than a fragment of the whole. A system that survived on cleverness alone would collapse the moment clever people disagreed. She worked in silence, fingers ink-stained, posture relaxed as hours passed. Above her, the city hummed, then, somewhere near the upper levels, laughter drifted down through vents disguised as decorative stonework.
When the ledgers were complete, she turned her attention to information flow.
The Black Rose did not sell secrets yet, it curated them, that distinction mattered to her. LeBlanc cross-referenced reports, noting which names appeared too often, which routes carried more whispers than coin. Patterns emerged slowly, like bruises under pale skin and then she saw it, one name did not belong.
Not because it appeared too frequently, but because it appeared just enough. A runner named Tesk. Useful. Quiet. Trusted. He handled messages between the Salon and a small cluster of dock-adjacent contacts with ties to Haesu’s off-duty guards. Nothing overtly wrong, no missing ryo and no delayed messages. Yet the tone of the information shifted when it passed through him. There were slight distortions, some emphasis added and certain details omitted.
Influence skimmed, not coin and so LeBlanc closed the ledger and exhaled slowly, thinking to herself. Fear motivated thieves. Ambition motivated dissention. Ambition required correction.
She summoned Tesk without ceremony.
He arrived as instructed, posture deferential, eyes lowered. The chamber felt smaller with him present, the lantern’s flame guttering as if reacting to chakra beneath her skin. LeBlanc did not accuse him, she asked questions. Routine ones., administrative ones, how many routes he covered. How often he spoke with dock officials and whether he had noticed inconsistencies in recent reports.
Tesk answered smoothly, but for her it sounded prepared, as if too smoothly. She let silence stretch, then activated her Sharingan, careful to keep her expression unchanged.

The genjutsu she layered over the room was subtle, keeping her manipulation as key. No nightmares. No terror. Just repetition. The same questions looping back, phrased slightly differently each time. Each answer he gave was reflected back at him with a fraction of delay. His own voice began to feel unfamiliar in his ears. Sweat gathered at his temples.
When he faltered, she pressed once.

He saw himself standing in the Salon days earlier, passing a whisper along that had not been his to give. No punishment followed in the vision. No consequence. Just the quiet realization that he had already been seen. Tesk broke then, breath hitching, shoulders sagging. He confessed quickly, words tumbling over one another, he had 'not meant harm', he 'wanted leverage'. A sense of importance, someone else listening to him when LeBlanc did not.
She listened without interruption then when he finished, she nodded once and dismissed the illusion. Her voice remained calm, administrative, cold and direct.
“You are no longer a runner,” she said. “You will not carry messages. You will not hear them.”
She reassigned him on the spot, stripping him of access, redirecting his labor to menial inventory duties where information did not flow. His network connections were quietly rerouted around him. His name vanished from future ledgers. He would remain alive, employed, and irrelevant.
That was the punishment.
No blood stained the stone, no lesson was spoken aloud, but the shift was felt. Others noticed the absence, routes were changed, questions stopped being asked twice as they all realized the system had tightened. LeBlanc remained in the chamber long after Tesk was gone, reviewing the final pages. The Black Rose had survived its first internal strain. Not through fear but through correction. She extinguished the lantern and let the darkness reclaim the room as she reached for a glass of red wine. Above her, Chungsu continued to shine beneath the Goddess’s light while below, something quieter had taken its first proper breath.
Following behind the old chap, Gunko stayed very confused at his antics. Such a powerful being but so... Goofy... And nonchalant. She had no authority to question him but... What the ****?..
"Where are we?" Gunko said just barely loud enough for the man to hear who had gotten quite a ways from the pair (Gunko and Lilith). "Is he always like this?.." Gunko whispered to Lilith, seeming equally concerned and curious. She was not sure if she could form a strong world leadership under someone so... Lackadaisical, for lack of a better term. But... Whatever. She would eventually figure it out.
She wasn't the type to be easily rattled but wherever Alucard led them, she did not feel too comfortable here. And without full control of her eyes as of yet, she was very vulnerable to greater threats of humanity. And as a pivotal figure in the new world restoration, her survival was critical to the overall completion of this objection.
Her eyes scanned around the area and while she was still a bit rattled, she saw the absolute beauty of the beyond of this land. It was wonderful.
"Amazing..." she said, speaking to Lilith and forgetting they were following Alucard. It seems she had already taken a liking to Lilith. She saw her as a child, whether she was four and looking twenty or twenty and looked four. That paired with her amazing power, this will turn out to be quite the powerful family... If Alucard had wished it so.
"What do you think of this place, sister?" Gunko smiled at Lilith and nudged her on the shoulder as if she spoke jokingly, but really baiting her into whether or not she felt comfortable with Gunko addressing her as so.
The trio had been traveling and conversing for quite some time now. There was no need for Gunko to remain defensive and reserved. Alucard was her king now, and that fact had to be accepted. Being reserved and defensive was not healthy so if she needed to be vulnerable with anyone, it was these two. For the sake of her sanity. As cold as she was, she was still a person... Kinda... Regardless of her lineage. And the more she learned about her Rinnegan, the closer all three would be to becoming ruling gods of this world...
part 2 -
This post marks the beginning of a mission using the following elements:
Convince a neutral party to fight with you (3)
Make an enemy of the clan disappear (3)
Chungsu’s lower districts never slept, they only slowed, when the marble avenues above settled into curated silence and Aureliana’s radiance washed the rotundas clean of shadow, the undercity shifted its weight and continued breathing. Old guild tunnels threaded beneath merchant quarters like scar tissue. Counting rooms leaned against wine vaults that no longer remembered their owners, every whisper had a price, and every price depended on who heard it first.
LeBlanc observed this from the Black Rose Salon’s lower balcony, watching patrons drift between velvet booths and curtained alcoves. No raised voices tonight, no dice on tables, no spectacle. The Salon had been designed to look boring to the wrong people and it was intentional. True power did not announce itself in Chungsu anymore. It audited, adjusted, and waited.
The rival was called Merrow, a thorn and rising broker that wanted to make a name for himself. He operated three streets south and two levels down from the Salon, out of a repurposed exchange hall whose columns still bore the faded sigils of an extinct guild. Merrow sold certainty, or rather as LeBlanc scoffed at the first mentions, the illusion of it. He seeded rumors of audits, crackdowns, patrol reshuffles, then sold “warnings” to merchants who panicked easily. He did not control information so much as distort it, stretching small truths until they cut. That kind of operator could not be confronted directly, fear was his currency. Attacking him openly would only validate the fiction he sold, as well as undermining LeBlanc's perceived grasp on the underworld.
LeBlanc began with the margins.
Her first approach was Selka, a ledger runner who handled Merrow’s introductions and as she learned, Selka was not loyal. Selka was tired, so LeBlanc arranged a meeting under the pretense of reconciling overlapping accounts between Salon suppliers and dock intermediaries. The invitation was polite, unremarkable, and impossible to refuse without seeming suspicious. They met in a side chamber beneath the Salon, a room designed for contracts that did not want witnesses meaning one entry and exit, no windows and framed to give LeBlancs seat power posture. Stone walls dampened sound. A single lantern burned low. Wine was poured before Selka sat down, not after.
LeBlanc spoke first, not of Merrow but of inefficiencies, meaning missed payments, duplicate routes, clients who paid twice out of fear and resented it later. Selka listened, cautious, fingers gripping the edge of her sleeve. When LeBlanc allowed her Sharingan to surface, it was only for a moment, enough to sharpen Selka’s focus without trapping her mind.

Selka felt the weight of attention and straightened from LeBlancs crimson gaze. LeBlanc framed her offer carefully, as no demands, no threats but a stable role within the Black Rose’s accounting lattice. It would mean predictable compensation reduced exposure to Merrow’s theatrics and Selka was not asked to betray anyone. She was invited to choose consistency over chaos which was a no brainer decision. Selka agreed quietly and when she left, she did not look over her shoulder.
The pattern repeated with more people within Merrows web of influence. A courier who disliked being sent on false errands. A dock clerk whose nights were ruined by invented emergencies. LeBlanc met each of them separately, never mentioning Merrow by name. She spoke of risk management, of Chungsu’s shifting tolerance for noise. Each neutral party was convinced to “fight” not with blades, but with compliance. They rerouted deliveries, delayed responses and asked for confirmations that never came.
Merrow began to feel it within days.
His intimidation tactics faltered when people responded inconsistently. One client panicked and another laughed, payments arrived late without explanation. Rumors returned to him warped, stripped of urgency. He compensated by escalating, spreading larger stories, louder warnings but that only made the gaps more visible. LeBlanc added friction with precision. Conflicting schedules were leaked, appointments overlapped and two of Merrow’s own associates were given contradictory instructions that could not both be true and when confronted, each believed the other had lied.
Merrow eventually sought LeBlanc out himself, his pride demanded it. They met in a neutral counting room beneath a collapsed stairwell, a place neither controlled fully and LeBlanc ensured to arrive first to be seated sipping a delicate red wine waiting for his arrival. A seat of power to watch him come to her. Merrow arrived angry and defensive, accusations spilling out before greetings, he claimed territory theft, manipulation, disrespect.
LeBlanc listened without interruption, then when he finished she responded calmly, outlining the undercity’s new equilibrium. Chungsu no longer rewarded panic, systems survived by reducing volatility and so she offered him a role, carefully diminished but safe. A consultant, he would be a voice, not a mouthpiece.
Merrow refused, his fear curdled into bluster, he threatened expose her to the Goddess, spilling all the information on the underworld he had and plan to ask for her protection. LeBlanc let him speak until he ran out of breath, then she looked into his eyes as her crimson pupils swirled to cast genjutsu, an illusion not of terror, but of absence.
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: C - S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15 - 40 ( Equal Cost for Each Additional Turn Sustained )
Damage points: 30 - 80
In Merrow’s mind he continued talking, but the room no longer reacted, it became silent as his words fell flat, doors closed without explanation and ledgers erased him by omission. When the illusion lifted, the silence lingered, LeBlanc did nothing further, she didnt need to. She did not order his death, she did not claim his territory, she simply withdrew every stabilizing force around him. His associates stopped answering messages, clients found better offers elsewhere and eventually his name stopped circulating.
Within a week, Merrow relocated to a fringe district where no one remembered why he mattered.
The Black Rose absorbed what remained without ceremony, silently. Contacts were reassigned, routes smoothed. No banners changed, no announcement was made it was just the undercity adjusting, barely aware it had shifted. That night, LeBlanc walked through the Salon’s lower halls, listening to conversation flow naturally. The system held, influence had expanded laterally, invisibly, without a single public act of violence. Quiet rivalries ended the way they always should not with blood, but with silence, and with structures that endured after names were forgotten.
Following behind the old chap, Gunko stayed very confused at his antics. Such a powerful being but so... Goofy... And nonchalant. She had no authority to question him but... What the ****?..

Alucard continued onwards, pretending not to listen to Gunko - she was in the care of Lilith for now. He himself had a quest to fulfill. A quest to test out their potential as a duo that is. He turned around once he had gained mid-range distance between himself, Gunko and Lilith.
Well well well, so it has come to this!!
He shouted, as if he randomly proclaimed an initated a battle. Lilith sighed as she walked slowly next to Gunko. She had already been asked a few questions from her and it would seem like Alucard wanted to test them both. She then poked on Gunko and applied a rather forced smile as if she was too awkward to produce a real one.
Uh.. ごめん [sorry] - i didn't expect it to be so soon.. But it seems like he wants to test you. I will be a medic, in case one of you gets hurt - don't worry i won't attack you whatsoever, even if.. even if your (rightfully so) anger on my father reflects upon me and you decide to kill me. He can, afterall, revive me so.. Yeah.. though i have died once before and.. ugh. But to answer your questions, we're in the Ruins of Chungsuu and i believe Alucard has the intent of seeking an audience with the faction head here or atleast some of its vassals to.. i don't know.. find purpose.
She then paused for a bit to think on how to reply next..
He's not always like.. anyone - he's an absolute being of neutrality, almost chaotically so, which makes him unpredictable but his loyalty of friends and family is unparalleled. Which, if you manage to impress right now - will be most useful for you i think. You sought out to have him as your 仲間 [ally] afterall, did you not?
She started to gag slightly, as in reminesence of her death several years ago while moving away from Gunko to avoid being caught in the crossfire while waving towards her. She would distance herself to long-range from the two.
Don't worry sis, you got this. Again please don't 殺す [kill] me.. T__T
Alucard started making gestures, showing off his impatience.
Are you two lovebirds done already? Good, because here i come.
He weaved a single handseal -> reverse dragon while clicking his tounge.
True mastery of the Kaguya bloodline, is.. evolution.
He then smashed his hands together to form a single strand of Ghoulspine - which was a mixture of his Shikotsumyaku Kekkei Genkai and his Yin release to form a phantom thread that he expanded outwards to curv and warp around Gonku. This thread was intangible, meaning no means of physical matter could stop it and because of that, it also could not deal physical damage but rather spiritual. He also took the liberty of activating a single void artifact to grant him a charge. (Mukō: Fuyu no Shukufuku) – Void: Winter’s Blessing (passive)
Type: Void Infused Artifact

Description: A Void Infused Artifact Accumulator that is activated passively; upon activation the user instantly gains a single Void Infusion. It can be activated twice per battle, once every four turns.

Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: B - S (B)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40 - 60 (40)
Damage: 80 - 120 (80) + 10 = 90
Description: Alucard weaves the necessary amount of seals(depending on rank used) and unleashes chakra throughout his body to manifest his black spectral skeleton to form into an aura around him. Depending on the mass of chakra used, the technique becomes bigger and bigger but the core concept stays the same. Alucard forms the black mass into that of a spider web with a mm thick intangible wires of the spectral skeleton. These wires cannot be interacted upon with physical mediums, much like all other Ghoulspine techniques but may be used to interact with other intangible elements such as lightning. Due to this, the technique will simply phase through physical or liquid/gaseous defenses or other object completely unhindered. For the lowest rank of the technique, Alucard can form a web the size of half his size, while scaling upwards in size by a factor of 2 for each going higher, meaning more chakra needed to be spent. The web is designed to intercept applicable techniques but most importantly it forms an arsenal dedicated to Walter C Dornez - hence the name of the technique. Using shape manipulation along with the properties of Yin the user can freely manipulate these threads and sync them together to form a phantom bird cage. On contact, this technique deals direct mental damage and will feel like a target is getting skewered by actual wires even though it is all spiritual.
Note: B-rank requires a single seal(reverse dragon) - A rank requires two seals(reverse dragon - snake) - S rank requires three seals(reverse dragon - snake - reverse tiger). B rank variant can only be used 4 times per battle.
Note: A rank can be used 3 times per battle with a two turn cooldown between usages, S rank twice, with a three turn cooldown in between usages.
Note: After using A rank version, the user cannot use Yin or other ghoulspine techniques above A rank for two turns. After using S ranked version the user cannot use Yin or other ghoulspine techniques at all for 2 turns.

As Alucard turned around, he insinuated an instance as if if was about to engage in fisticuffs with someone...
As Lilith explained the situation, Gunko replied... "Oh..." she was super confused. This guy was literally entirely random. Under Lilith guidance and the overall feeling of their interactions, Gunko didn't really feel like she was in danger but she would indeed be at Aucard's mercy, outmatched two to one. So she had to fight as if her life was on the line. Because there is a fifty percent chance it might be...
She addressed Lilith going on about killing and reviving and all that noise. "Trust me, I didn't come here to hurt either of you. Quite the opposite actually. However I am not sure your... Father is quite right in the head..." she explained. Which Lilith probably already knew this. He has probably already dragged her through four years of antics. Lilith spoke about finding a faction and things Gunko had little interest in so she brushed it off. That was Alucard's business. After some more explaining from Lilith about the King's intelligent assessment and being a being of total neutrality, it STILL didn't make sense. But it made enough sense for Gunko to humor him. Gunko was similar in her godly duties but she was definitely not neutral.
"I have to impress him?.." Gunko asked. "Huh..." she said, unbothered. She didn't know how she would match up against her king but she knew full out how powerful she was so impressing anyone probably wouldn't be too hard. Gunko looked upon Lilith as she started gagging, looking away from Gunko. She pat her on the back and thanked her for the encouragement, following up with "It will be okay", smiling and un-wavered.
Gunko braced herself as Alucard slapped his hands together, prepared for the worst as her eyes glowed brightly... Reflecting his every movement.

Description: One of the 3 great Doujutsu, the Rinnegan has, like the other, the ability to see chakra and the chakra flow of individuals. It also allows the user a great clarity of perception and tracking abilities, although its levels vary from user to user. It also grants a family of abilities collectively known as the Six Paths Technique. The user is also able to summon and control the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. Certain Rinnegan abilities have only been demonstrated by single users: Madara can create corporeal shadows in the invisible world of Limbo; Momoshiki is able to absorb any ninjutsu with his right Rinnegan and release it with his Left Rinnegan; Urashiki is capable of moving through time and space when different eyes are activated. While Nagato was never able to deactivate his eyes, Madara and other wielders could switch at will between their other eyes and Rinnegan eyes, although Uchiha aren't able to go from 3 Tomoe to Rinnegan directly. Due to implanting Madara's Rinnegan into his eye, Obito loses the ability to deactivate this eye, much like Nagato.
Note: Can only be used by Rinnegan users excluding Sasuke.
Note: Requires activation ( spending move ) for other Rinnegan bios but remains active indefinetely afterwards if the user chooses to. After having for 1 month, user becomes able to switch between both doujutsu without spending a move. In the case of Madara, user needs to have activated EMS before and had it active for 1 full turn before activating.
Gunko would see the chakra building up inside Alucard and would gather chakra of her own, and spew out fire from her mouth, encasing the vicinity in front of her in fire and trying to pull off an absolute defense in response to the shenanigans Alucard tried to pull. After this, and leaving him to deal with the flames and astonishing heat in his face, she clapped her hands together as Alucard dealt with her trickery and summoned a giant chameleon-looking thing that would look like it ate Gunko. However, Gunko would take refuge in its mouth and disappear entirely with her summon. This would also mean that both her and her summon's chakra were completely untraceable by any means. Using the crackling of the fire to conceal the chameleon's steps, the chameleon would scurry with Gunko in its mouth onto the ceiling of the cavern they were in, within short range and above Alucard, plotting their next move.

Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A

The user needs to clap his hands in order to do the summons, not needing the traditional blood sacrifice and can summon 2 animals at the same time.
Note: Can only be used by Rinnegan biographies for the activation of the path and will remain continuouslty activated.
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will summon a Giant Chameleon with a sort of snake for a tail. Like all of Nagato's summons, it has a number of body piercings that link its chakra to that of the user and makes it so that it manifests the Rinnegan. Much like a real-life chameleon, this creature can also blend with its surroundings for camouflage, so perfectly that it renders itself completely invisible to other viewers around. This ability has been used by the Animal Path of Pain to step inside the chameleon's mouth and attack his opponents by surprise. The camouflage is so perfect that it hides the summons chakra and even that of those inside it from any sensing technique, even sage mode users, making it not only a visual camouflage but also a sensory one. The only visual cues of the summoning being present is ripple like movement through the environment when moving at Jounin ranked speed. The snake-tail can be used as a prehensile limb to be able to grab and capture intended targets for Pain with its tongue.
Note: Can only be summoned by Rinnegan bios with access to Animal Path
Note: Can only be summoned once
Arriving by boat across the ocean, C2 had managed to reach the lands that held so much chaos. These lands were no longer safe for mortals due to the ever watching gaze of those divine nuisances. He would have to be careful as to not draw unwanted attention in his passing. Though now he was here, he could feel those in this land. It would seem there were two powerful shinobi here. Based on his yin/yang sensing, he could tell that the two were currently having some kind of conflict. Part of him needed to move on, the other curious if that was the first of those he sought.
There was only one thing for it. With a single seal, C2 created a clone of himself who would become C4. C4 carried on the journey inland as was the mission. Meanwhile, C2 made his way to the battle going on hiding his chakra to not be noticed:
C4 LLM

Alucard deactivated his Tenseigan Chakra Mode as he had knocked Gunko unconcious as her Yang State had forcibly been abrupted thanks to his VIAs. Lilith, who had been kept in the distance for the fight. She seemed unimpressed, but kept a steady eye on Gunko, making sure she was still breathing. Approaching the fallen Gunko, Lilith hovered over while gently placing her hands on her. She then looked towards Alucard.
Did you really have to knock her out?
He did not answer at first, but kept focusing on the true goal of his visit here. His fight with Gunko only cemented the idea in his mind that he truly was chaos. Meanwhile, Lilith sent a massive surge of Yang release chakra into Gunko, reviving her.
(Yoton: Taiyōnomegumi) - Yang Release: Touch of the Sun
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 60 per use
Damage points: N/A
Description: Through the infusion of Yang natured chakra into others, users can heal others to their original best physical form. It can be used to regrow missing body parts, heal wounds, purge poisons, etc. The target needs to be alive and the bigger the injury, the longer it takes to heal. The limits of the heal, however, are almost none as it can heal 120 damage per turn and can even heal the chakra system or other injuries that are otherwise not possible to be healed. The technique requires time and physical contact and as such isn't very suited to use in a battle when compared to regular Iryo Ninjutsu.
Note: Yang Release Specialists and Yin-Yang users are able to use on themselves.
Noticing this, Alucard spoke in a strict voice, looking back at his daughter.
