Inner Cedar Forest

With the passing of Enlil's essence to Enkidu the divine, eternal storm that raged over Kamiyasumi has finally ended, leaving behind it a flooded, ruined slice of paradise. This didn't sit well with Enkidu, who spent months laboring to bring life and vitality back to the ruined sections of Cedar Forest, using his Divine energies to restore the land to it's former splendor, much like his actions on Nagi Island, and Theodoro especially.

The deeper one ventures into the Cedar Forest, the more it resembles tales of a forgotten paradise during the Golden Age of Humanity in the Era of the Gods. The Inner reaches of the Cedar Forest are filled with more exotic and flora and fauna, most of them several times larger than any counterpart one can find in the East, especially the Mainland. This also includes the Cedar trees themselves, which do not resemble any Cedar tree seen by modern humans. It is speculated that Enkidu has spontaneously recreated the Cedars of God, a kind of tree once said to be as common as air before the fall of the Golden Empire.​

Passing through the Storm was treacherous, with the winds picking up and becoming unbearable, the howling almost deafening as Strix kept her eyes on the goal, reaching the centre of the storm and finding what was at the middle of the island. Not even looking to stop or trying to find shelter, she kept walking on, clasping at her hip and trying to support her shoulder. Her desire for the answers and knowledge keeping her blood pumping and forcing her to continue.

With every step, the throbbing worsened. Merlin's hand was now constantly clasped around his afflicted shoulder, his breathing ragged. He couldn't afford to stop, lest he fall unconscious and be lost to the storm.

Lucifer pressed on in to the worsening storm, the howling winds made his ears pop as though he was at high altitudes and reduced his ability to hear replacing the cacophony of sound with a dull continual droning noise. His finely honed ability to sense life force alerted him to the fact that Merlin had been nearby recently. Lucifer pondered the magus of flowers, his path had been strange and winding, they both met through Solomon and the two seemed to be on good terms, what had led him to the Akatsuki, questions for another time.

Musashi's intuition, it seemed, failed her. The winds grew stronger, and the rain pelted even harder. Trees were not only uprooted here, but completely gnarled and shattered, as the debris was strewn about. It seems she had delved deeper into the hurricane, and the storm had likewise strengthened.

Like before, she did not sense anything in the area - she doubted anything besides herself was foolish enough to be in this area, and anything else that had been caught here likely had perished. She was thankful for her chakra abilities, essentially keeping herself plastered to the ground, like one might do when climbing a tree or inverted surface. Like before, in the Lesser Stormlands, Musashi could not really see - even beyond that, she couldn't even hear, over the howling winds - and taking out her map to try to plot out or take notes over what was directly in front of her would basically invalidate much of the work she did so far. She was happy she had decided to purchase a water tight scroll-case for the map she was creating, and notes she was compiling.

The area didn't seem particularly dangerous, and appeared devoid of any strange anomalies like the few she had come across before...but she could not truly call it safe, not with such a tremendous maelstrom raging.

She was soaked through, and her clothes and hair stuck to her, weighed down and sopping wet.

She pushed forward - there was not much she could observe or do here, and she saw no reason to dawdle in such a tremendous rainstorm.

Akujin continued, the storm getting stronger than ever as he traveled. His spiritual sensing didn’t sense any Tailed Beasts or anything near it. Cursing under it’s breath, Akujin pressed forward through the Storm.

Madara, much like his Creation before him, pressed forward despite the beating storms. The raging winds did little to quell Madara’s thirst for battle against the Beast as he walked onwards.
