Annwyn

Also known as the Red Plains, Annwyn is a large portion of Tírnan where life is abundant, overwhelmingly so to the point where it's a calamity disguised as a blessing. Long ago Ainsel of the Mirror Clan foretold that, if left unchecked, the life that sprung forth from Annwyn would eventually drain the rest of the world of it's vitality, unintentionally ending all of life in Albion. To help hold back this state of eternal, draining opulence the Fang Clan settled in Annwyn, engaging in an eternal hunt. They return as much life as they can to the world that it may be kept in a state of equilibrium, never killing too much as to deprive the world of new interesting life, but also not allowing it to run rampant. It's a delicate dance, and one the Fang Clan perform with pride.

Composed of various kinds of mythical beasts, including lycanthropes and direwolves, the Fang Clan spend their days hunting the abundant swathes of prey that seemingly spring out of the ground. Even in this cataclysmic situation, where the rest of Tír na nÓg is gone, they fight this eternal quirk of their world, moreso now that there is less of a world for Annwyn to drain vitality from. Though feared as dangerous monsters, the Fang Clan are actually very agreeable Fae, capable of rational thought and meaningful discussion. While they are content to spend their days honing their fangs and claws against one another, and hunt life to preserve life, they aren't one to decline a fair, honorable challenge, or chance to test their might against their new neighbors.

As a part of the Fae Domain of Tírnan, any and all attempts to perform Jutsu and techniques that seek to directly influence, alter or draw from the land are met with immediate failure. These include altering the environment with Earth, Water and similar Elemental Releases, as well as the gathering of Natural Energy, for Modes like Sage Mode and Dokkodo.

Coming from here

This post starts a mission utilizing the following element(s): Explore the Unknown of a Landmark of the Outlands(Custom C rank)
___________
Kisuke finally was out of the darkness of the previous landmark. He turns the lantern off and puts it away. He can see before him and his point at this point is getting to the bottom of the greyish vines. He can tell by the trees themselves that they are wrapped in the same vines. He cuts at the vines with the same knife from before. It had the same feel and look as his previous piece he kept away. He put this piece away also. Kisuke was a researcher at heart so he still had his love for the mystery. He could possibly come up with new supplies with his research and journey around the world.

He kept on going but nothing changed. He was met with a tree with a vine that had been cut. He didn't think anything of it and continued going. Again he fines a tree where the vine is cut. He stopped. This was the second time he saw this and he thought also it was in the same area of the tree from before.

"What is this? Why"

He stopped in his tracks and something clicked in his head. He still has the knife in his hand and he takes the piece of the vine he cut earlier out. He puts it against the vine that's on the tree. It was a perfect match.

"But how… How is this possible? The same tree and vine I cut earlier. What is this? It couldn't be any kind of Genjutsu."

He cuffs his hands and yells between them.

"Hello, is there anyone there?

There was an echo of his voice but it was everywhere. Nothing but his echo is all he heard. Kisuke stopped yelling but he stayed where he was. The man started thinking. At this point he hasn't been through all of the areas of this continent. He didn't want to cause to much harm towards the land but he knew you couldn't break a few eggs. He takes out his katana. The man thought it was to cut his way through the land. Something was right with this area.

He cuts(B rank) the tree before him and he drops the tree. A loud crash but the sound wasn't in front of him. He heard the sound of the tree behind him. He jumps and turns around with his katana at the ready. Nothing was there. A light turns on in his head.

"This land has something which reverses things. If I even try to continue through this land either I'll get lost or I'll destroy it completely where it doesn't have its own personality anymore. But I need to leave the way I came out so time to break a few eggs."

(Surasshu) - Slash
Type: Offensive
Rank: D - B
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 20 - 40
Description: One of the simplest moves in Bukijutsu, the user will begin by using one of their weapons to deliver a simple attack by swinging the weapon in an arc. The user is free to do variations of angles with this technique, allowing attacks from unpredictable locations. This technique works with weapons of all types including sharp and blunt.

He puts his katana on his right hip. Using his Gelel Stone energy he leveled the area around him with just a few blasts of energy. All the trees and vines around him are destroyed. He can see where he was earlier from the large amount of darkness the landmark has. He takes back out his lantern and enters back into the previous landmark.

( Gereru Bakufū ) - Gelel Blast
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: With a piece of the Stone of Gelel embedded in them, the user can blast objects without the need to make physical contact with it. This ability allows him to release powerful explosions similar to Blast release from his hand, detonating things he aims at within a short range radius. He can inversely create a stream of explosions from his hand towards ranged targets. Though this technique shares similarities with Blast Release, this technique is not considered a Ninjutsu.

Coming from The Beachhead (264) | Page 3 | Anime Forum (animebase.me)

Susabi entered the mysterious forest he saw from the shores of Beachhead. He looked around in awe of what was before him, a peculiar forest with white vines intertwined with the natural plant life. Susabi walked over to a tree and placed his hand on its trunk.

It's as if it's been infected by these roots. Susabi commented as a gust of wind blew through the forest causing the leaves to rustle around him. However, the sound they produced was not ordinary in the slightest. The rustling of the leaves was intermixed with laughter, shrieks, and cries of various pitches. It was enough to send a chill down the bravest shinobi's spine. Susabi quickly surveyed the area with his Byakugan but was unable to find any immediate threat.

As the foliage came to a halt, the combination of sounds stopped. Whatever it was, was not normal. This island grew stranger by the second. Something caught the Hyuga's eye off in the distance. A tree had a large gash in it, as if a bite was taken out of it. Susabi ran his fingers along the grooves of the indentation. Was there some sort of battle here? His head turned on a swivel to look at the surrounding trees. The surrounding trees had the same markings and peculiarly only on the white roots that intertwined with the trunk of the trees.

Were they being targeted? Or was something feeding on these branches? Hmm. Susabi crouched down at the base of the tree to find tracks. He stood up and continued to follow the tracks. Where would this lead him?

Upon her arrival into the Forest of Echoes; Mirabelle would allow an audible sigh to be released from her lips, as she plopped down into the foliage for a brief moment in time. “Map work is so tedious…but if it will make the efforts of tracking shit down and reaching locations easier, then I suppose it’s worth it” she commented, her voice echoing throughout the near vicinity. However a response was received, much to what she expected. “ Well, taking some time off would be nice ” the voice echoed back, though it mirrored the voice of the Nibi. Mirabelle’s perception of this voice…it was being messed with but she wasn’t aware of this. At first she was a bit surprised to hear the Nibi agreeing with her about taking a break - despite her previous urgency to track down whatever it was she was sensing beforehand. Mirabelle didn't mind to it though, as she spoke once more.

Oh well, are you still feeling whatever it is from before?

No, it slowly faded and now…nothing

See, waste of my time! Oh well, we should be going soon, but I want to check out this place some more

Oh please, do check it out more, I’m sure we’ll find something cool and unique!

The voice replied back, but that was when Mirabelle was realizing something was off. The Nibi didn’t speak like that, let alone…the lack of sarcasm and retorts was a personal red flag as well. “Nibi…what are you even saying?” she said, but that’s when the real voice flagged into her mind.

Um, no - what the hell are YOU saying?” Nibi retorted, as it was trying to talk to Mirabelle for quite some time now but Mirabelle from its perception has been having a conversation with someone it seemingly couldn’t detect. “Wait, what do you me…” Mirabelle tried to speak again, but a loud scream came out of nowhere - blasting in her eardrums. The Nibi heard it too, as though it was ‘human’ trying to speak. Mirabelle looked around, as she gripped onto her new katana, Hagakure as the blade was triggered for the first time in a long time.

Something’s wrong…” she said, but it wasn’t until she noticed a figure in the distance, seemingly glitching in and out of reality. Mirabelle…you left…me to die… the voice differed now, it was…Isabelle’s own. “Sis?” she called out, but the shadowy figure kept moving towards her. YOU LEFT ME AND MOTHER TO DIE! its voice got louder, enough for Mirabelle to wince in pain again. “What?! No, I came to save you…but by time I got there…” she tried to reason with whatever it was coming at her, but in a mere moment - it flickered out of reality, and then reappeared before Mirabelle’s face. What a shit sister you are…but...

"Now come join me in the after life...I will forgive..."
However before the shadowy figure could touch her, the blade of Hagakure came swinging in a vertical ascending path. It quickly retracted its hand and moved, swift enough to avoid being hit as it landed three meters away. "I will not allow you to tarnish the memory of my sister...cease this nonsense...or I'll be forced to get rid of you..." Mirabelle said, as she started to get a hang of the sword, as she can sense the spiritual blade that was formed from the beginning. The figure remained unmoved, as it spoke in a inhuman language for a few seconds. "You...▋▋▋! I W▋LL K▋▋L YO▋!" it said, barely making sense, as its voice flickered in and out of reality. It was at this point Mirabelle knew she wasn’t leaving here without a fight. “Let’s go then!” she said, as she rushed after the apparition herself; though all it did was flicker out of existence, appearing directly behind her as it held its arm out, allowing shadow tendrils to form from its fingertips. It would be far more powerful than a Nara was capable of, as well as using its body directly as a source of shadow usage. It still carried the properties of binding if it touched someone’s shadow of course, but as quickly as it came - Mirabelle would have stomped her foot, allowing a swirling mass of energy to form as the blue flames countered the shadow needles. “Ahhh!” she screamed out, performing a swing of her blade, as she slashed and released a blast of flames, only for the figure to be gone once more. It reappeared towards her right side, but as it spoke its as if it came from her left. She turned to look in the opposite direction, only for the figure to punch her with a shadow fist, sending her flying about two meters.

( Kage Nui no Jutsu ) - Shadow Sewing Technique
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: 40 + 20 = 60
Description: This is a ninjutsu from among the Nara clan's secret techniques that uses materialised shadows to attack and bind, instead of merely immobilising and controlling like the Shadow Imitation Technique. The user changes the shape of their shadow into several sharp needles and controls each separately. They can then attack several targets simultaneously and at the same time snatch away their ability to move by sewing them stuck with the shadow threads. Because it is a physical attack, it is impossible to capture someone without harming them, but on the other hand, since the speed of invocation and the time of duration are excellent, it can be used when urgent restraint is required. This technique is usually used to go through the target and capture them, but depending on the opponent, it can also be used as an attack to bring them down. This special characteristic finds its greatest effect when used as logistical support. After this technique hits someone, it can then be directly transformed back into the Shadow Imitation Technique.
Note: After landing, this technique triggers the Shadow Imitation technique's binding abilities and durations, allowing the user to utilize more Shadow jutsu.
( Aoi Katon ) - Blue Fire Release
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: B - S
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: 20 - 40 (40)
Damage: 40 - 80 (80)
Description: A skill unique to the Two-Tails and it's Jinchuriki, this jutsu allows the user to manipulate Blue Fire in an assortment of ways. Formed after making the appropriate handseals, this allows the user to release blue flames in the form of fireballs, streams of fire, and even blue flame based familiars to attack on the user's command. These Flames carry no properties of Blue Fire beside the basic variant which shares the same traditional properties of normal Fire Release except the weakness to Water.
Note: This can only be used by Matatabi and it's Jinchuriki.
Note: Intangible or Spiritual Blue Flames can only be utilized if their respective skills have been acquired.
( Kage Gijin no Jutsu ) - Human Shadow Simulation Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30 + 20 = 50
Description: The user materializes and personifies his shadow into two different copies of himself that are shaped shadows. Each shadow punches the opponent once and then both shadows coil around the opponent and crush the opponent.

It was however when the apparition tried to strike once more, the world at large started to vibrate violently - as the once usually quiet forest, would be rumbling and shaking. A smile crept onto its face, as it faded away into nothingness...

"What the heck was that?!"
"An earthquake it seems..."
"Yea...but something of that magnitude??"

She questioned, but alas - she would continue to press on, heading into another direction to maybe find the source of these troubles.

Previous post.
This post marks the beginning of my mission using these storyboard elements:
- Survive a Near-Death Situation. (5).

Musashi, on her way back to the Beachhead, came across yet another area of the Cedar Forest that was in the asphyxiating grasp of these crawling, ashen tendrils. The area, like several others she had been to thus far, was twisted and foreboding. The aura of the area twisted and writhed as if distorted and in pain, pushed and pulled in unnatural ways. Even the sound of Musashi's own footsteps, as she traversed the forest, seemed to be transmitting strangely, as it sounded like her footfalls came from overhead.

Normally she would dismiss it as an echo, but that was clearly not the case, as it was not following the original sound, but rather happening before it...as if her own foot falls were the echos. Even more disturbing was the fact that Musashi could sense another soul in this land with her.

Normally, this would be a cause for celebration - another individual, scoping out these newly discovered lands! A person to meet with, discuss discoveries, and rekindle one's adventuring spirit, and perhaps to help bolster each other. Or, like with Mirabelle as Musashi originally encountered her earlier, an individual in need of assistance, for which Musashi could try and swoop in and play hero, and be showered with praise.

...but that was not the case here. It wasn't quite something she could pin down, but whatever this soul was...was either an Oni, or something very much like one. Musashi's spirit was honed to the hilt, and she was on high alert. Myōjingiri was already drawn in her hand, as she skulked through the underbrush as best she could.

Even before when she had encountered the two previous Oni, they hadn't instilled this level of anxiousness in Musashi. It was as if her body was telling her to turn and run the other way, but she had to press on. She doubted anyone else knew yet of the Oni, and she would feel responsible if another met their end at its hand if she hadn't tried to do something to stop it.

But the strange nature of the forest was making it difficult to conceal her presence as well as she had wished, as well as pin down exactly where the Oni was, even using her ability to sense souls. The strange distortion in this place was interfering with it, and anything beyond what was directly in front of her seemed suspect to accuracy.

Eventually, she came into a clearing, or what could best be described as such when one considered the relative density of the rest of the Cedar Forest in the area, containing a single larger tree, though it appeared stark white due to the thick amount of vines that coiled around it, doing...whatever it was that these strange plants that invaded this land were want to do.

Musashi steeled herself, as the distance between her and the Oni appeared to be shrinking...but what she saw in the opening ahead was not an Oni. It was a man.

Older, and wearing traveling garb, with his hood down, he stood before the great tree, and writing in a bound book of sorts, as if he was surveying the area.

You must be registered for see images

He seemed unsurprised at Musashi's presence - perhaps the nature of the forest made it so that he could have heard her approach for some time now? He was tall, standing head and shoulders over Musashi, and even his form radiated a composed power of sorts. At his hip was a large sword.

He seemed to finish what he was writing in the tome, before storing it in a pouch of sorts. Musashi was going to sheathe Myōjingiri, so as not to alarm the individual, though she could not shake the feeling that something was amiss. Musashi would have, at any other time, assumed the Oni was in hiding and warned the man.

But there was no other soul to be sensed.

Which could only mean that this man was an Oni? Or, perhaps, something with the same type of reading? She dared not be too hasty, with her limited knowledge of the Oni. It was entirely possible that this man had been "afflicted" as it were, and withstood whatever corruption lead to the creation of those creatures.

"Tis a fine blade you wield," commend the man, as he turned. His voice carried well and clear across the distance, even with the strange nature of the forest. It was deep, and brimming with power. "Many a year has it been since mine eyes have laid upon such a quality piece of craftsmanship."

His eyes glowed with a golden aura, and despite his apparent age, Musashi could feel a lifetime of honed combat prowess from him.

"Indeed!" replied Musashi, as she gently tapped the hilt of Myōjingiri, "it was made by me by a master smith across the ocean. He claimed that the sword would be capable of slaying a god...though, I've heard that claim plenty enough," she added at the end. She was not aiming to besmirch the immaculate craftsmanship that Marzan had produced, but rather to protect the blacksmith from further difficulty, if for some reason the Oni came looking.

"I see. Let us hope such a claim never needst be tested. Tales on the wind beget the approach of fell gods and their wrath upon the land, though tales of champions who rose to meet their strength have also met my ears. Tis good to see that humanity still has strength yet to muster," the man said, turning to look at Musashi.

The turn of phrase seemed odd to Musashi, but she considered the strange group of individuals she had encountered thus far. Emiya, Marzan, Mirabelle. It seemed there was a greater conflict afoot, and Musashi simply wasn't privy to its details. Her wonderings were cut short, though, as the man resumed speaking.

"Inform me, traveling swordswoman. Have you met creatures from beyond the pall? Gods or Demons that sing of the fountainhead, with supernatural abilities?"

The man's speaking mannerisms took Musashi a moment to decipher, but when she realized what he was talking about, her guard dropped ever so slightly. Was this man a hunter of Oni? Perhaps the reason she sensed a similarity to them in him as proximity?

"Indeed. I've defeated two thus far," explained Musashi, as she recalled her encounters with the Oni. "They were both rather...unique individuals. One was like a mole and spoke in prose, and the other a multi-armed abomination who seemed to also have a unique mannerism to his speech. The first was in the Iron Penninsula, deep in the mines, and the other was trapped upon a Mountaintop in Tobusekai."

"I see. That is a vast distance between those two. "Oni" you called them? A fitting designation, indeed. How did you lay them to rest? From my encounters, their regeneration is remarkable, and to strike them down through it must mean you possess incredible skill."

"Ehehe," laughed Musashi at first, as she thought back on the encounters. "It was a bit of luck at first, to be honest. The Samurai in the realm introduced me to Senkenjutsu - The Alone Way. It appears that the use of Natural Energy inside the Kenjutsu form produces a potent petrification effect - one more powerful than their regenerative abilities. It can help close the gap between what appears to be the difference in physicality of a regular person and an Oni, as well," she explained.

The man seemed contemplative for a short bit, but ultimately unsurprised. With the massive sword on his hip, perhaps he already knew of Dokkodo.

"Ah, so they were foolhardy and left themselves open to their weaknesses. Tis no surprised they would find themselves at the end of such a fearsome skill. I doubt knowledge of the natural blade is widespread enough to yet be a concern. I suppose you would be good a good test bed for if I should orchestrate this knowledge lost," he said, slowly unsheathing his massive blade.

Musashi's battle instinct flared to life, as she activated ( Fudōchi Shinmyōroku ) – The Unfettered Mind. Such a thing probably saved her life as suddenly the man was gone in a flash, bearing down on Musashi as he unleashed a powerful blow with his sword, which her enhanced speed only just allowed her to dodge.

"You're an Oni!?" came Musashi's response, both a question and a realization. His strange form aside, the ability to shapeshift - even a common ability amongst Shinobi - had escaped her mind for consideration. She cursed herself for letting her guard down, as she wielded two of her other blades in hand, having reflexively went for the swords she was accustomed to over Myōjingiri.

"Faster than anticipated," said the man, reaching up and lowering his hood. In his right eye was a designation of sorts, almost as if branded there.

UPPER ONE

Musashi was not sure of the significance, but the anxiousness welling up within her was telling her she did not want to find out. Even as Musashi evaded his strike, she had observed it: he watched her every movement. He chose not to redirect his blow to strike Musashi out of a sort of idle curiosity at best. Most likely...he did not consider Musashi even close to a threat.

She eyed the ground where his blade had struck, and the crater that had been rent. It was an odd sensation, watching the visuals of his blade be in one place, the sound in another, and the presence of his soul seemingly yet in another, all while appearing human, yet possibly being Oni.

She gripped her blades tightly - unsure of the difference in strength.

"Come, you seem to hold a bold ambition in your breast. Show me thine strength. The strength of one capable of felling not one, but two...'Oni'."

Musashi's blade became cloaked in the mystical force of ( Dokkōdō: Kakusu Shinjitsu ) - The Alone Way: Hidden Truths, the ability of one of her blade allowing her to augment the technique in such a way that it benefited from Unfettered Mind, increasing its cutting force substantially. Rushing forward, she swung the natural energy infused blade at the man. While a demonstration of Dokkodo was no doubt what he was after, its forces were the only surefire way that she knew of how to handle an Oni. She would have to indulge him.

She rushed forward, swinging her cloaked blade from left to right across the man’s torso, but watched as he effortlessly evaded her attack despite his larger frame. She followed with a counter-thrust from her off-hand blade, but a mere twist of the man’s wrist deflected it.

The difference in speed and strength between them - even with her enhanced state active - was astounding. Planting her foot, she brought both blades downward simultaneously in a two pronged attack, using (Kenjutsu: Ichimonji) - Sword Technique: Straight-line.

The man seemed to vanish from sight, his tremendous speed being far above what Musashi was capable of tracking, with her blades coming down once more into empty space. He struck her in the back with the pommel of his massive blade ((Suiryoku) - Thrust) and Musashi was momentarily stunned by the force of the blow.

She turned to swing her blades, attempting catch him with a scissor like cross-slash…and watched as with a single downward motion, he shattered her blades ( (Gaishu Isshoku) - Armour Sleeved Single Hit), breaking both of her masterwork swords like twigs at their midpoints.

It was astonishing; the man danced around Musashi like she was a complete novice; and his overwhelming force made it appear like she was trying to cut through a mountain with a toothpick. Her mind raced, as she tried to weigh her options. This Oni was obviously far beyond her capabilities. Whatever "Upper One" was, it was mighty. And though she felt she had to make an effort to defeat the Oni here, perishing would accomplish nothing.

Escape might be the only option available to her, but how would she do so with such a clear difference in strength and speed? If there was not such a massive physical discrepancy, maybe she could out skill him, but with such a dramatic difference, that was impossible.

She would have to make an opening. Gritting her teeth, Musashi sheathed what remained of her blades, and drew Myōjingiri, holding the blade in her grip tightly. The man swung his blade once more, likely aiming to shatter this blade too, but would find no such thing was possible as Myōjingiri was nigh-indestructible. When Musashi's blade held, and his blade was stopped in its track, the man's face hardened in focus ever so slightly.

She would slide her blade off the man's own, and try and strike low, at his knee, but like earlier he was simply too fast. His massive sword was twirled about and reoriented, and he intercepted Myōjingiri. This dance would go on for a few more blows, before Musashi realized that it was a fruitless endeavor.

Needing even more force, it seemed, she would sheath her blade, and then redraw it, all in a blindingly fast motion. In doing so, she would invoke her ultimate technique, a powerful warrior spirit that filled the space; a Niō (( Fudōchi Shinmyōroku: Taiaki ) – The Unfettered Mind: Annals of the Sword Taia ).

Musashi saw the smallest display of surprise from the man, despite his stoic countenance. "Come forth, my roaring blade!" cried out Musashi, as the warrior spirit of Taia swung forth with tremendous might; its blade would cleave a tremendous portion of the forest, clearing way a tremendous path.

"Oh, a passing measure of strength thou doth possess," came the voice of the man, in the clearing; she could see the wounds on his body rapidly regenerating. She doubted that the attack had caught him off guard - he took it head on to measure its might. "Let me display the vast difference between a lowly one like yourself, though, and one who looks upon the divine."

(Anutu: Ode ni Chūmon) - Divinity: Ode to Order

A golden wave washed through the clearing; it's speed was immense, beyond what Musashi could track, and washed over Musashi as well. But she did not feel anything, as there was no damage inflicted upon.

But then, the sudden recoil, as she felt her might wrought from her, as her Unfettered Mind ended, and Taia vanished...only to reappear around the man, cast in a golden hue; as if the man had stolen her guardian spirit from her. "A fine bit of might though doth wield. My respect you have earned, but it this is all humanity has to offer then it seems my worry was misplaced. Begone; normally I would extend our lord's blessing to you for respect for your skill, for your strength befits my lord, but your knowledge must perish here."

Musashi, drained as she was, prepared for the attack, letting out a flash bomb (( Kemuri Senkōdama ) - Smoke-Flash Bombs ) that blinded the man momentarily, as she dropped down. The blinding flash seemed to be enough, as the blade of Taia swung high, overhead, and demolished another large portion of the forest.

Even more, though, fortune appeared to be on her side, though perhaps it only appeared that way to the swordswoman, for the truth was far more dire.

A massive earthquake suddenly shook the area, with enough force that the air itself seemed to even become unstable in this already confounding area; even "Upper One" seemed taken by surprise, perhaps by the natural phenomenon and Musashi's employment of the technological tool, as Musashi felt a massive airburst as the Taia swung again, but this time wildly into the air above.

Taking advantage of the chaos, she would leap away; the confounding nature of the area masking her retreat as the roar of the forest overshadowed any noise she could make, as trees fell in swaths and the ground churned with unimaginable strength; boulders brought to the surface and soil loosed like water, not to mention the extra devastation wrought as the man used Taia to strike Musashi, now unable to get a clear grasp of where the woman had gone.

Musashi ran as fast as she could, not really caring for the direction. She had explored enough of the Outer Lands that she could reorient herself fairly easily, she thought, once she was safe.

Outmatched, drained, and saved by divine intervention, Musashi treated, her heart pounding in her chest and sense of foreboding starting to set in....

Back into the Forest of Echoes their path had brought them. It would seem like fate itself somehow wound up Alucard and Lilith back to the Kamiyusami. Reality here was vaguely warped to the advantage of the assassins guild that had their bases of operations hidden far into the Cedar forests underground. It was probably the reason why Alucard hadn't noticed it until now either as he had floated above the sea for days before finding the doorway to the Dark Brotherhood. A few kilometers away from the entrance he made his call. Lucien, the assassin who had made an attempt on Alucard and his daughters life was going to reunite with his precious guild with strings attached.. Alucard commanded Lucien through the Cursed Puppet Seal to walk through the rest of the distance and enter his homestead. Thanks to the Tenseigan, Alucard was able to see everything in front of him with enough clarity to monitor his puppets every move.

This is the epitaph of your life Lucien. You will kill every single one in your home and i will watch you do it as the tears run down your eyes. I will watch over you as you commit these actions in joy and there ain't nothing you can do about it. Now then, time for you to go home.
The young boy was shaking, his skin had turned completely white and if Alucard had allowed him to, he would scream. The only thing he could do was to produce a few tears before having his body remotely operated by his master. Before Lucien's body marched towards the entrance of the Dark Brotherhood, covered in the assassin armor, Alucard had placed a seal on his body. This seal was a custom made one, infused with Yin release and Bisumaton chakra - that on Alucard's command would trigger. From a distance, Alucard puppeteered the body of Lucien in such delicate way that it would not arose suspicion from lurking in the Cedar Forest but it would take even more concentration for him to do so when Lucien finally arrived at the gate to their cult. When he finally had reached the round gate, decorated in a skull surrounded with a prism of red roses and bones it asked of him the password in order to be let it. By the effects of the voided reality here, Alucard, even though he was far away, would hear the following phrase in his left ear.

What is the Music of Life?
Alucard hadn't expected something like this. He grunted in the far distance of Lucien and the gateway. What would he do now? Wait for someone else from the cult to come and let Lucien in or take him back and use another plan.. At the same time, having Lucien standing outside their door without being let in or turn back would cause for suspicion as well. Alucard then noticed another chakra source was heading out from the inside of the sanctuary, no doubt to check who was lurking at their front door.

*Tsk, guess i'll have to tap the blood bath a tad bit earlier than planned.. Very well.*
He steered Luciens body towards the right side of the door and made him draw his dagger. As the door opened, Lucien would reach out and cut the other assassins throat before he even realized what was going on. They would fall into the grass, grabbing their throat but bled out so rapidly that their consciousness faded before they could even utter a single word, let along scream. It was obvious that Lucien's actions made him feel pure rage and despair at this point for he had just killed the first one of his own family that he had held together so dearly. With the gate now opened, Lucien's boots stepped into the blood of his former brother and went through the entrance. The gate closed behind him. Alucard's infiltration of the Dark Brotherhood had so far been a success but it was far from over. He had more damage to be dealt to them.

Haha, that was hilarious. Now then, it's time to thin the heard.
He closed the gap between himself and the gate now that Lucien was inside. Alucard had already seen counted ten hostiles (now reduced to nine) inside the sanctuary and if he was successful he would have all of their necks by the hands of one of their own devotees. He manipulated Lucien to withdraw his dagger and act as nothing had happened as he wandered throughout the sanctuary. The inside of their hideout was like a cave with two floors and several rooms with different functions. The strategy that Alucard had now was for Lucien to simply strut in there and kill them one by one but in order to do that they all had to fall in absolute silence for they no doubt shared the same abilities as Lucien himself and where they all to come at Alucard and Lilith at the same time they would probably have to flee. It was safe to say, Alucard was really defying any logic to this whole ambition. While unable to hear anything they people said inside of the sanctuary he could only see their chakra patterns through the means of his Dojutsu as well as feel their presence thanks to his Yin/Yang sensory. Regardless, if there was one thing that didn't really work in this place from the getgo was sound itself.
.
Through his vision, Alucard manipulated Lucien's body throughout the sanctuary. He made him walk carefully but not to the extent that it would cause suspicion. He also made him pick up a book from a shelf inside of the sanctuary, pretending to read it as he walked through the levels in order to seem pre-occupied in case anyone there would be tempted to start a conversation. At this point it would seem like the members inside the sanctuary weren't that interested in his presence yet but Alucard knew it was just a matter of time before someone there realized somewhat what was going on. A wolf in sheep skin walked among them with a blooded dagger in his hand. The second victim was set at the remotest part of the sanctuary. The plan was to root them out from the far back of the sanctuary and should anyone attempt to escape, Alucard himself along with Lilith, would cut them down. The second victim would seem to be the only person present in the room bar from Lucien and it would also seem like they were sleeping in a bed. This opted to be the easiest kill and all Alucard had to do was to have Lucien unsheathe his dagger and stab his fellow family member through their neck. Like the first time, no one was alerted of the kill immediately but Lucien had to be quick on his feet in order to get out of the room before he was caught.

There were now eight of them left unaccounted for Lucien himself inside of the sanctuary but only two more of them were separated from the rest as the other six where all gathered in one room together. Using the same technique, Alucard, through Lucien's body, would butcher the two lone assassins in their rooms with a slit neck. At this point, Lucien's soul had probably vanished. Alucard did not feel as much resistance after having forced the boy to kill three of his family so far. It was almost like Lucien's mind had shattered at this point into pure insanity. Alucard feasted on the thoughts. However, now the inevitable would happen. One of the remaining members of the sanctuary had discovered the dead body of their kin and alarmed the others. Being the sole suspect of the crimes, Lucien was now useless within the sanctuary but before disposing his body to death by family as well, Alucard would try and make use of it before that happened. He manipulated Lucien to hide while the remaining assassins spread out into pairs in order not to give their infiltrator the advantage even if he was lurking in the shadows. Three pairs in total, with one now in the same room as Lucien who drew his dagger and pierced another neck from his hideout while engaging in a one-on-one with the other whom had alerted the others. Alucard wasn't able to manipulated Luciens body to the extent he could simply cut through such resistance. As the other four remaining members rushed to aide, Alucard himself had now positioned himself able to execute an ambush should anyone remaining try and escape.

With a few stabs to his body, Lucien, through Alucards manipulation of him, managed to pierce the heart of the fifth member even though his body was now forfeit as an artery had been cut from his wrist. It was now that Alucard's Carnage seal was going to be triggered, forming a wraith of spiritual and elemental chakra from Lucien's dying body. It's shape was that of a pair of glowing phoenix wings that rose from Lucien's back. In it's still tangible form it was able to dish out quite potent amount of damage, enough to cause the entire sanctuary to crumble in an attempt to bury the remaining members there alive. Through several slashes and dashes towards the stone structures of the underground sanctuary. The rumble was felt outside as well and the sounds excavated from inside. Both shattered into echoes inside of the Cedar forest, screams and the sound of an earthquake filled the ambience of the otherwise quiet area. The chakra signatures inside the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary diminished. Alucard's scheme had come to fruition in one of his yet darkest displays of late. One could almost say.. He was "back". Without so much of a word from his daughter, the two of them decided to range the landmarks of Kamiyusami again. Perhaps there were something out here for them still.

LLM.
