These hellhounds typically are stronger and more powerful than the typical "dog" breed, making one believe they are a dog "sub-breed". Majority of the hellhounds are actually coated in fire overall, some fire being more powerful and hot than others (specified with each summon). [B]Ability 1: [/B]Each Hellhound has access to fire chakra/jutsu and excel at it making their fire slightly more powerful than and hotter than normal, giving +1 Rank (+20 for S-rank) to their fire jutsu without needing handseals using it through their mouth. [B]Ability 2: [/B]Each Hellhound has extensive sensing via smell and extraordinary pinpoint heat sensing, allowing for them to sense anything that has heat within the same landmark. [B]Ability 3: [/B]Majority of the hellhounds are actually coated in fire overall, some fire being more powerful and hotter than others (specified with each summon). Due to the mass amount of fire surging through and around them, they are immune to Fire release techniques of the same rank and lower. [B]Unique Ability: [/B]The unique thing about this summoning contract is its ability to be in contact with souls. This allows the hellhounds to not only can see but their fire is capable of injuring souls and spirits. Annwn is the name given to the sacred fire of the Hellhounds drawn from the ancient Celtic otherworld where the hounds were tasked with hunting and punishing the wicked, pursuing sinners across both the living world and beyond death. True to it's ancient purpose this dark crimson flame, upon contact with an enemy, strikes and burns on a spiritual level, allowing the flames to not only burn their spirit, but also effect their mental. What makes these flames unique as well, is its constant drive to 'punish' individuals, wanting to replicate the role of the Hellhounds in their pursuit to punish those for their sins, crimes, guilt, etc. [B]Upon direct contact the flames damage the target's spiritualism, forcing their deepest personal darkness to surface, manifestations of their greatest fears, guilt and failures overlaid onto their perception of reality. This could be hearing voices of people they failed or seeing people they lost somewhere on the battlefield (It's unique to the affected person and they get to choose what they see, hear or experience). While they physically functional, their concentration and decision making become significantly compromised. This translates to being unable to perform techniques of S-rank or higher for 2 turns after contact with the Annwn, as their impaired mental condition hinders the focus and chakra accumulation needed for advanced techniques. These visions are a side effect of Annwn and are not Genjutsu, thus cannot be dispelled by using kai or chakra surges. In order to heal the damage inflicted by Annwn one requires spiritual healing such as Atavistic Flames, Yin Release Healing or the Doctor Specialty.
