The latter of them has been the cornerstone of hosting life into Ninjutsu through cannon techniques such as Change into Hell. Yang also has the capability of altering biological beings through metamorphism as well as acting as a poison agent, all shown in the cannon list techniques of the release. The two elemental natures that Radiolaria makes up with are also proven to co-exist in the Storm release.[B] Furthermore, by incorporating Kinjutsu into the element, biological alterations can also be done in foreign systems. How it works:[/B] Radiolaria is a liquid element in it's release form. It is slightly similar in aesthetics to that of milk, albeit translucent and radiant with passive electrical discharges added to it's sound and aesthetics as well as bioluminescent. The fluid hosts the microbes that are always present inside of the element and they can alter the [B]state of the liquid upon the users input. Because of this, the fluid can move around on it's own to some extent, as in creeping upside walls or hold it's own weight and not drop down a hole as longs as there's a footing around it, like a regular human. The microbes cannot make the liquid suspend itself in the air on it's own, it would require a structure to creep itself up upon. The reason why the liquid can move on it's own is because of the incorporated Yang element, like Change into Hell - elemental nature can become alive and sentient with it own health and chakra pool. This concept is applied to Radiolaria by default, minus the chakra pool (unless a technique specifies it). [/B] Much like water and lightning release, Radiolaria can be formed from the users body but it can also be formed inherently through present water sources too. The microbes can also alter the tensile strength of the liquid, adjusting it so that even massive summons can stand on it without falling through. It will not impact the damage of the technique in anyway though, and is mostly just used as auxiliary. [B]Because of the ability to increase tensile strength through the work of these microbes, the liquid can act as a temporary solid state, barrier, shield or platform while also gaining the ability to be placed on par with solid elements in terms of hardness. The ability is inherent due to the lightning release which gives the microbes the ability to pulsate highly dense currents through the material and strengthen it significantly. As the microbes has the ability to discharge electrical pulses that affects the liquid itself, it can be used to alter any sort of biological being that it comes in contact with through digestion, pores through the skin, inhalation or other similar means. Having your body host Radiolaria can be benificial or rather infigurating. As the element is also considered a Kinjutsu, it can perform biological alterations on the user and any biological body it comes in contact with. We've already covered the microbes ability to pulsate high-density electrical pulses to increase it's own tensile strength, but incorporating Kinjutsu in the element allows the microbes to use these high-density electrical pulses to not just alter the element itself but also blood, bones and flesh using something called electro-metamorphism. Lightning can inherently paralyze tissue with direct current, we've seen that in cannon techniques. Radiolaria can use this ability as it enteres a body and paralyze distinctive tenketsu points that are scattered across the body, producing a full or controlled paralyzing effect. As it can also alter it's own state from a fluid to a semi-solid via the works of the microbes lightning abilities, it can alter the biological compositions within a body. Naturally, this is not something that is realistic, but thanks to Kinjutsu being part of the element - it bypasses the laws of nature and allows biological composition. This can vary as from hardening the skin to the point of becoming hard as steel, stopping/spiking blood flow or injecting high-dense electrical pulses to restart ones heart. Unless specified with a technique, the default properties of this ability within a technique translates to an active debuff if an opponent is devoured by Radiolaria as the microbes will mess with their body. This debuff does not scale on the rank of the technique, but it obviously becomes harder to counter the stronger the technique is. Base speed is lowered by -2 level per turn due to the paralyzing factors of the microbes on opponents. Buffs are never applied to a technique unless it's specified. When it comes to elemental interaction, Radiolaria is neutral. The ground of which the microbes can move/the element itself is on par with lightning release.
