The Ninja World: A New Age

✘ Prelude to Order
​

A long time ago, the land was ruled by chaos. Feudal lands lorded by giants of the ninja world. As they lived, they fought, without order or stride or harmony, it was even quite obscene ( I'm looking at you, Hellsbadass! ). They were, for all purposes, happy fools. Powerful happy fools. But this was not sustainable, and while members joined frequently, there was no true unity. That is when one of the Red Sovereigns brought order to the world, and gave the members nexus ( see what I did there? ) and real bonds, and reformed the 5 Great Villages of Old.

And the world lit up, as old and new joined together, Kirigakure, the demons of the mist, ruled by Mizukage Alucard and Daimyo Emperor, Kumogakure, the heavenly warriors, led by Raikage Mugiwara and Roku, Iwagakure, led by Tsuchikage Bishamon and someone else ( Nero ), Konoha, led by more people ( Hokage Zenryoku and Xylon ) and Suna, which no one actually remembers ( jk, Kazekage Kawagiri and Ragnaroc ). The world was at peace, but one village did not stand for it....

✘ First of Wars
​

The demons rose from the mist, and joined forces with the cloud. An army spearheaded by the like of Izuna Uchiha, Goro Kaguya, Naruto Uzumaki, Gatsndshanks, and many others, facing the combined forces of Konoha, Iwa and Suna. And when all seemed to be in favor of the attackers, Bishamon did the impossible. He plunged his hand into the mist, and took out the head of the beast. Against all odds, the one behind the First Ninja World War, was a single girl. As she lost, her smirk lingered, mocking the Tsuchikage, before she vanished in a cloud of dust, avoiding death. And from the backstage, the demoness held her tactics, and Kiri in a shocking revelation, betrayed Kumo and pinned the rest of the world to a corner. The Bloody Mist had won the First Ninja World War.

✘ The Second of Wars
​

The outcome of the War shook the world once again, and the Nexus once again re-shifted the order. Following Kiri's victory, it was broken down and it's members distributed across the world. The Great Balance. Izuna became the second Hokage, and Iwa retreated upon itself, honing it's members in seclusion from the rest of the world. But Kiri did not stand in silence, nor did the demoness herself. Lili-Chwan and Alucard, once again, made plans to cause another War. These were more elaborate, more complex. And despite their infamy as a village of traitors, their power was still substantial. They joined forces with Iwa and Konoha, the lone wolf and the sheep, and initiated the plan of the Three Fronts, attacking Suna and their previous allies, Kumo from 3 directions each. The plan though, was to bring the 4th Front, unbeknownst to their allies, and bring with it the final seal of the Deadly Barrier that would destroy each village, and all the ninja inside, friend or foe, leaving Kiri as the sole victor once more. This War, the Second Ninja World War, became known as the worst failure in the history of the world, ending with Hasashi of Kiri performing a magnanimous Shinra Tensei on the village, by accident. But damn if it wasn't fun.

✘ Rise of the Red Clouds
​

Peace ensued once again, for very long. But something was brewing in the shadows. And then, taking everyone by surprise, Konoha was attacked, and destroyed. The culprits was a small gathering of powerful ninja, lead by one man, the Pervy Sage. This was the second coming of the Akatsuki, a mythical organization of the first ages. And as it rose, many of the strongest warriors in each village deflected, and the world was in shambles. Goro Kaguya, Akiza Uchiha, Yard, Xylon, many joined the Akatsuki, slashing their banners and donning the crimson clouds. But this would not stand, and as the Akatsuki rose, so did the weakened villages. And an alliance from the likes no one had seen in ages was created, joining members of all 5 villages against Akatsuki. And Tasogare was created, which targeted and hunted the members of the criminal organization. And that is when the Red Sovereign acted once more. As the Akatsuki was cornered down, they retreated into a growing metropolis. The ever raining city of metal, Amegakure. Akatsuki was now granted amnesty, and, in turn, protected the village.

✘ Betrayal of the Betrayer
​

Iwa because secluded, strong in secrecy. Konoha became vast in number and power, harnessing members of all ranks, beginners and veterans. Kumo became wild and unruly. Suna became weird, ruled by a plant with a penguin fetish. Ame was the most hated village of the world. But Kiri remained the same, bloody mist, a village of traitors, but loyal to each other. That is until Lili-Chwan betrayed it and fled to the one group she had helped hunt. Killing one of the Akatsuki, she joined their ranks, and went to Ame. And on top of the tallest skyscraper of the city, she once again betrayed her affiliation, and defeated the public leader of Akatsuki, Amaimon, and then the hidden puppeteer, Vincent. Akatsuki was Ame, and Ame was Akatsuki. But Lili was Kiri, and now, Lili had Akatsuki. The amnesty was broken and Akatsuki came to Kiri, and Ame broke down.

✘ The Shift of Powers
​

Many events came and went but the world, for the first time, seemed at balance. There were skirmishes and diplomacies, tortures and journeys, but the dynamic of the world did not change for many years. That is, until the Akatsuki decided to make one great step forward. To infiltrate and rule all of the villages. It began with Kiri and, in one fell swoop, Negative Knight became the Mizukage. From then on, all went to shambles. As the men were sent to Konoha, they found someone else had reached it before. Forcefully taking over the leadership, the indomitable Scorps became the Iron Ruler of Konoha, and, immediately then, the Blue Sovereign cast out the Knight. Suffering many losses, the Akatsuki decided, for the first time ever, to abandon their home village, and become independent. Severing the ties from Kiri, Lili founded the Dawn Tavern, piling it on top of the bones of those who dared oppose her, before spreading the news of the death of Akatsuki, and finding reclusion in the shadows of the world.

✘ The End of the Endless War
​

With the Akatsuki running the Bounty business in secrecy, the world once again fell into monotony. But this time, it was slowly inflating, with whispers of the promised Revamp. The people were unhappy and bored, and the events were meaningless. And every single village kept on waiting, and waiting. And then it came. The Dawn Tavern, thriving with success and activity, was attacked. Madara Uchiha of the Blue Sovereign, returning to the group he called family, stood before the Queen of the Uchiha and challenged her. The prideful demoness, undefeated for many years, accepted. And, in one misstep, she was defeated and blinded, robbed of her eyes in their most powerful form. With her scream, the world shook. The Dawn Tavern was no more, the Akatsuki changed, and the world went into turmoil. This war was like no other before it, there were no sides, no unity, no opposition. There was just battle, and death, the Endless War. And so, the world was ruled by chaos.

✘ Ode to Order
​

There were many stories left untold. Every person, every life, every blood spilled and every dream shattered. We were granted the world, a vast and unimaginable sandbox of freedom, for us to forge our own tales. And we damn took it, and made it ours. There was only one thing left to do, one thing that could End the Endless. The Promised Revamp. The Sovereign Sages descended up the world and terminated all wars and conflicts, and started the world anew. History shall not be forgotten, but this is a New Age for the World, and many more tales are left to be told, and left to be lived. Once again, we grant you freedom, endless and limitless. What path will you take? Take this gift, and make it your own. ​

✘ Expansion of Kumogakure
​

Silence can only last for so long. The world works and lives on conflict. Someone must force the hand of action, someone must act first. After a short period of silence, Kumo did just that. Raikage Daemon ordered his men to the west, capturing several islands in the Land of snow and renaming them the Artemis Isles. More mobilized in an attempted attack on Suna, bringing dark intents with it. Furthering stirring the turmoil, a lone Cloud ninja snuck his way into Kirigakure, trashing the Mizukage's Palace in his search for information on the villagers. What could all of this mean? Was Kumo ready to plunge the world into it's first war since....the Promised Revamp. Tensions with the village are also becoming more evident; even their long time ally Iwagakure has sought to retrieve all of the 7 Swordsmen Swords from them. What this means is still to be seen, but one thing can be clear: only death can follow.

✘ Return of the Hunt
​

As expected, Kumo displayed their primal rage and burst outwards first, but it wasn't far from the only one to act; Choosing to empower their own villagers first, Amegakure and Iwagakure hosts two inner village tournament, granting the winners power to learn one rare art of their choice. In addition to the Kumo ninja who managed entry into the village, a lone rogue ninja also broke in, setting off bombs in the plaza, causing great destruction and killing many. An act that could not be forgiven, Kiri placed a bounty of the brave rogue's head, calling several bounty hunter groups to action, looking to hunt him down for a reward; however, they had to beat the very villagers of Kiri from reaching him first, wanting to exact revenge personally and demonstrate their power. Konoha, meanwhile, was dealing with a demonstration of power of their own; the head of the House of Katsuryoku, Amaimon reached out and targetted the country after his messenger birds were struck down. Suspicion lingers around Amaimon, causing many to question what there in the notes that was so important, it prompted him to appear himself to fight? Was he planning something sinister that would involve the rest of Akatsuki? Was his clan preparing to attempt a hostile takeover? Shrouded in mystery, Amaimon attacked Nagato, ending his life swiftly as Kakuzu entered the fray, asking his old rival to back down, revealing his own treacherous intent before being denied by Amaimon, intent on killing he would had wronged him. What will be the outcome of this fateful encounter? ​

✘ War Has Been Declared !!
​

Trouble has been brewing in the Land of Fire. Over the last few months, several skirmishes have been ongoing, skirmishes that involved several different villages and mercenary groups. In order to get to the bottom of all of this, several Kages got together to discuss change and during this small summit, the Kazekage was seen conversing with a known Akatsuki member, provoking the Kage of Kirigakure to suspect treacherous actions. Soon after the attempted murder of his student, the Mizukage reacted angrily and with his ninja attacking the Ame Ninja, Lancer declared war on both the villages of Sunagakure and Amegakure. While their ally Konoha hasnt decided to join the war or not, Kirigakure has staged a two front war. Will they be successful in their efforts to combat two villages they see as new rivals? Or will the others band together and take out the village of Kiri? Tensions are growing as the Land of Fire was suddenly shut down by a mysterious force while this all took place. With the Land of Fire reopened, one can only dream of what will happen next...

✘ Defeat of the Sand and Rain

​

As Konoha was reopened, the cry of war was swiftly heard and silenced, the Kazekage being slayed by a Kirigakure ninja. With all eyes of the Suna members to see how they would retaliate to this unforgivable act, the Sand ninja opted to shy away from the conflict, accepting the loss of their Kage and began moving towards the rebuilding and development of their village under a newly appointed Kage. As the war continued, Kirigakure's eyes turned towards the Northwest, taking the battle directly only the doorstep of Amegakure. In a stunning turning point after being unable to breach the Gates, an Ame villager escorted the members to the Mansion, avoiding several traps on the way as they stormed the building. Meanwhile, a general of Ame contacted members from Kumo who arrived to give aid to the village. Battles ensued everywhere, blood was spilled in all directions and when the smoke cleared, Ame had lost it's officials and soon thereafter the Amekage died. The Third Ninja World War had ended, the victor Kirigakure holding it's own to defeat the two enemies they attacked while holding off others. What could this mean for Suna or Ame? Will the balance of power shift in Kiri's favor now? Or is this only the beginning of a sinister plot pilot o be unraveled against them? With all the whisperings going on in the Ninja World, one can never be certain...​

✘ Let the Games Begin...


​

With the War finally concluded, there was little time for the NW to rest as the mysterious alter atTaro Island glowed, signaling the time for the annual PURGE Head Hunter Games. The Bohemian Grove reopened, one can only imagine with will happen this time with the stakes heightened. Word has been sent all over the Ninja World and as soon as the first parchment was accepted, blood tinged the air, and blades clashed. Having just started, the leader is still undetermined though there are rumors that hidden bonuses will be applied...
