The Akatsuki continued on as villains and remained mysterious for longer times instead of the war, Juubi rev, and Kaguya's arcs? Basically, the Akatsuki being the main villains. No War, Juubi's Revival, and Kaguya's arcs.

How would people know if the media didn't even mention it once? How should people research about them when they don't know that they even exist? They don't even know who they are and what they're doing. (I personally know about them, but I was generalizing).
