Ooooh, I get what you mean. So basically, when Hidan stabs himself and has cursed someone else, who is not immortal, he wounds that person. But if he stabs himself and has cursed himself, who is immortal, it just kinda loops between two immortals, without the delay you spoke of. I totally get...

Well there sure ain't many holes or scars on him, except for the one on his neck, but he was decapitated so it's basically not a scar but a seam of sorts. You guys aren't paying much attention to the part of him cursing himself. It absolutely must have some effect on him, no?

So effectively it's just an endless cycle of damaging and restoring? It's possible, but what I had in mind was that the curse would counter the cell regeneration part and, in effect, the strike would truly damage him.

I am totally confused. It just doesn't add up somehow. When you look at the facts, there isn't that much indicating that Tobi could be Obito. It doesn't even fit the timeline as you said. And the eye. When Kakashi asked where Tobi got that eye, he responded it was during the past shinobi world...
