Life is good Ira!. Nice to see that you are still around. And this site is still up and running. Spent my b-tech days on this site lol. Feels nostalgic now those days. Life goes on. Change is the only constant.
It's always nice to see old friends and know they are doing well. May all the changes in life bring more and more good things to you .
Some guy from India came up to me claiming to be a fortune teller

he wrote a name on a piece of paper and gave it to me. He then asked me what the name of the first girl I dated was. To my surprise, it was the name he had written down

I gave him 20 bucks for the lucky guess.....
lol Sometimes some of them do get things right.
Most unexpected prediction I have ever heard was decades back. Elections were around the corner and a news paper made collected predictions of multiple fortune tellers about it's results and who would be the new PM. There must be like or 20 or 30 something of predictions from different people- almost two pages of newspaper sheet though some space was taken by art and advertisement. One prediction stood out that I never forgot, though I was quite young back then.
It said that a totally new face would be the next PM. And that one of the most speculated candidate for next term, would be no where in the whole vast political scenario.
I found it funny. The mentioned candidate was a prominent leader, who had been a PM before and still had enough popularity and support. So even, if, his party lost the election, at worst he would sit in opposition. How could he not be anywhere at all?
And then .. during the election campaign there was a suicide bomber from a terrorist organization who took that leader down..
His party won the elections . But, of course the he was no where in the scenario as he died in that blast.. A totally new guy rose to become the PM. (not new to politics but new face who was never projected for the post before)
That was the only prediction in all the multiple speculated predictions that turned out to be completely true.
I was so reminded of that prediction that I had found funny initially. Unfortunately we had already threw away the newspaper and I didn't remember his name. Otherwise I might have pestered my parents to find him and get him to write my future for me.
