『歴史 History』 Little is known of Raijin’s origin, and perhaps that is by design. During the height of the Warring States, when conflict consumed the land, the monks of the white stone monastery atop Ōkuninushi’s Peak spoke in hushed reverence of a divine omen. One night, as a storm unlike any other swallowed the Lightning Mountains, a child was discovered at the edge of the sacred lake, untouched by wind or rain, his small body surrounded by faint arcs of lightning. The monks believed him to be no ordinary human, but a manifestation of the heavens themselves, a living embodiment of thunder sent to watch over the peak. From that moment, they did not raise him as a son, but worshiped him as a deity, shaping their lives around his presence. They built their rituals, prayers, and teachings upon the belief that Raijin was the will of the storm given form, and the lake itself became a sacred extension of his power.
As he grew, their devotion only deepened. Raijin’s command over Lightning Release, and later the terrifying Black Lightning, surpassed anything the monks had ever witnessed, reinforcing their belief that he was divine. His speed became like a flash of lightning across the sky, and his taijutsu carried a thunderous force that felt less like skill and more like judgment. The monks lived in quiet service, tending the monastery and preserving the sanctity of the peak, while Raijin remained its silent god and guardian. Over time, the monks faded from the world, whether through age or ascension into legend, leaving behind only their temple, the sacred lake, and the being they worshiped. Now, those who trespass upon Ōkuninushi’s Peak with malicious intent are said to face divine punishment, their end heralded by roaring thunder and a figure descending from the storm. Across the Ninja World, Raijin is no longer spoken of as a man, but as the God of Lightning and Thunder, an unforgiving force of nature that brings wrath to any who disturb his domain.

『雷 Apex Handseal Specialist』Raijin can perform Raitom techniques without the usage of hand seals, though he must still perform complementary and logical body movements related to the technique. This applies even if said jutsu does not have specific movements detailed in its description. Does not require another Specialty to utilize.
『雷 Static Shock』Raijin's Lightning Release jutsu have been empowered, triggering Static Shock when in close proximity to the user’s Lightning jutsu. When targets are within 5 meters of a Lightning jutsu, they will feel a static cling and an inability to move freely, losing access to a Free Dodge for 3 turns. This does not prevent movement via jutsu, just the Free Dodge.

『Apex Speed Resistance』Raijin is able to slow opponents within a specific range, exerting a force that slows targets naturally. This causes a 2 Base Speed level decrease to opponents that are within 8 meters of him.
『Apex Tracker Specialist』With more heightened senses, Raijin is capable of gaining a now increased x2.5 tracking. This allows him to physically track faster movement without chakra sensory.
『Drunken Master』Being a drunken master, Raijin eludes most enemies and his feigns and tricks fools the smartest of warriors. Despite his actual speed not increasing, the Raijin stumbles and falls in his normal movements, leading to unpredictable attacks. This unpredictability leads to his basic Taijutsu attacks gaining Critical status, turning all of his non elemental or enhanced Taijutsu into Critical Attacks that deal 1.5x the damage. Enhanced Taijutsu refers to Taijutsu augmented by any Ninjutsu or Nintaijutsu such as CES, EIG, Lightning Armor, etc and not purely Taijutsu.
『雷 Chakra Fortification』Raiden can add an additional effective 10 Chakra to his Raiton, though not at any increased cost or strain to the her. This simply allows her techniques to have 10 more chakra infused into them.
『封印術 Fuinjutsu』 Raijin has mastered the art of sealing. On his wristbands are the Lightning Flash Blade Creation seals. On his back is the Reverse Four Symbols Seal.
