If you have either speed or strength in taijutsu, it is a huge advantage. However, if you have both, you'll become master in taijutsu I think, look at Lee. If you haven't any of these, you actually can't do taijutsu in my opinion.

I think that Naruto isn't to young, but he's still a genin. You must become first chunin, than jonin and then Hokage. Gaara did that too. So probably must Naruto do that first.
