No. Zetsu is made from hashirama's cell as STATED in the manga the black half is from madara he left his chakra or whatever into that also in the manga.

my opinion is that he can collect small intel from them, OR he is one of those guys that has opsession with his sensie that he collects the people he fought to fight with when the day of fighting j-man comes.

He was the fastest one who did body flicker jutsu. when they just suddenly dissapear and leaves come out of nowhere.
