Dead or long lost into the fog of the internet. It's sad when once lively forums were abundant but now are just graveyards of discussions, and fan art/fanfics that are basically forgotten.
It feels like once it went mainstream all the magic disappeared; from it feeling like something only we knew about, to now everybody knows -- whether they treat it as a fad, like it outright or just plain don't like it.
The fact someone in the animation department agreed that this was an "ok." I'm just curious, did no one think "let's revise" or "reanimate this frame?"
Does anybody remember and miss the 2000s scene of anime and manga? I sure do! I miss how interesting and fun the scene was, from the forums that were abundant. Also, how conventions were the wild west but not like how we see it; like, everyone was there to meet likeminded fans.

Of course it can! People are falling back from social media, and yearning for the simpler days - such as dethatching from screens, and even leaving social media. If we push hard enough, and stay active on here, I'm sure we can revive this place.
