If the chapter said they sealed the juubi in the moon it was mistranslated. Hagoromo sealed it within himself. I remember the chapter stating they sealed kaguya into the core of a chibaku tensei, which would be more believable.

I'm hoping his past is something central to the entire ending for Naruto.. if not, then I'll be extremely sad.

Maybe, for once, Sasuke will use talk no jutsu on someone aka Madara and it will work. That's when Kaguya will strike and Naruto for once will **** shit up with no thought of peace.
