Perception

My name is Grady F. Mathews IV. Here I'm known as WaveEngineer. I'm a working on a PhD in structural engineering at the University of South Carolina. I'm from Warren, MI which is about 20 minuets north of Detroit. My family moved to SC when I was young and I have been living here ever since. I still visit family in MI frequently. I also lived for one summer in Maine. My dad was a professional pool player and won world championships in One-Pocket and Nine Ball. When I wasn't in school my older sister and I would spend our time traveling the country with our dad. We traveled to many pool halls, tournaments, and saw many great sights. I remember when I saw the golden gate bridge being shocked that it was red. As a result of the traveling I have been to every state except for Alaska, Hawaii, and one of the Dakota's. I plan to visit all of them one day. When I'm not working or on NB, I'm probably watching football/basketball/baseball, playing the piano, or playing a video game. I have played piano on and off since I was in middle school. I'm not great, but I'm better than average. My roots are in classical music, but I love classic rock as well. Some bands I like are...I'll make a seperate section for this. This will be long. Well, there a little bit about myself. If you want to know more just ask.
