Itachi Uchiha hands down for me. He is my favorite character in general. I highly respect the characters morals and heroic actions. Itachi sacrificed his immense potential and reputation to save his brother and village. He was also a brilliant genius who never underestimated his opponents.

It doesn't matter if he was smiling. Madara is the type of guy who would be having a thrill even if he was getting his ass kicked. Gai was destroying him with speed and power. Only reason he survived was because of his op juubi stamina.

Tobirama is a lot darker than Hashirama so he probably would just ask why he did those things.
