I like your theory. Drama, death, and most importantly the Rikudou Sennin. Good job only for including a meeting between them.

Unfortunately, that's true. Maybe if they summon the Sage back or something, but that's less probable. This is not a bad idea at all. We can have those "Rikudou eyes" scenes this way. Would be awesome.

I love anything about the Sage in predictions, but Naruto really should stop being given the Rinnegan.
