You need to consider how much chakra naruto had there, as well as how much chakra edo madara had, as well as how much weaker edo made madara. When edo madara reacted to BM Naruto, naruto was very low on chakra, naruto even said it himself. Edo madara had all his chakra when he reacted to BM Naruto.
