Naruto can't gain Rinnegan without Sharingan. Nor does he need any blood to do so since his Uzumaki heritage satisfies the need to have both Uchia and Senju DNA.

no he doesn't. all you have to do is awaken both MS eyes (or master them) in order to bring out the 3rd power. Sasuke says then during is fight with the Raikage. I could go more into detail about it but this is the basic answer. This is THE biggest misconception....smh...

Also it wouldn't make sense if Sharingan can allow the user to copy n master every element while the Rinnegan is so hyped up because it can allow the user to master all elements. Sharingans don't have this ability.
