I sense that his new determination will falter a bit during the battles, but he'll ultimately choose the right path. Also, I think he will die saving his friends and redeeming himself along with his clan. It's the only way I can think of that everybody could forgive his mistakes.

I'm new to this site, but I've watched all the anime and read all the manga that has been published. Needless to say, I'm a big fan and want to become a member of this community.
