Danzo was stronger than Sasuke

Yes you heard me. Danzo is stronger than MS Sasuke. He should have won that fight, but he didn't because of Sasuke's plot shield and many other things.
The main reason why Sasuke won was because he was assisted all along the fight.

Here you see Karin healing Sasuke after he was stabbed by Danzo's wind blade. First, he would have died right here.

During the match, Karin was analyzing Danzo's abilities and when she figured it out she told Sasuke about it:

Here again, Karin tries to interfere when Danzo was about to kill him:

If you look at this manga page, you see that Obito was about to teleport at Sasuke to save him:

Another thing is Danzo said that he spared Shisui's eye and half his chakra for later because he knew he would have to fight Obito afterward.



And finally , Obito told Sasuke about Danzo's kamikazee attack when he sacrified himself:

So yes, this fight was extremely unfair and one-sided. In a fair fight Danzo would have won.
Most people dislike Danzo's character but it's the truth, whether you like it or not.

I fully agree but at least it was not sad that one bad guy killed another bad guy. I wasn't too unhappy when Danzo died. He was a massive threat to his own village or at least to the good guys there.

Plot shield is probably a realistic way to call it. Of course Sasuke had to win so he can be an opponent for Naruto. We all knew it. He had alot of help from Karin but then tried to kill her. That was when he fully turned into bad guy mode so the fight was needed for the story I think. It was exciting to watch though but yeah, Danzo should have won. On the other hand, he stole the sharingan after getting the clan killed by Itachi. That bastard deserved to lose by an Uchiha I think so the outcome was ok.

What I remember about Danzo - Sasuke fight..

Danzo WAS stronger than Sasuke but used his Izanagi like an Idiot .. (on shurikens ?? seriously)

Danzo held back because he wanted to save chakra to take on Tobi.

Karin was helping to analise the Izanagi technique which in the end she did.

Sasuke would've died in Danzo's tetra sealing jutsu at the end if Tobi didn't warn him in time.

Zetsu gave him his chakra back after getting out of the summit so he was perfectly alright.

I see wat your getting at, the fact that he had so much help, and danzo had to hold back for multiple reasons. Unfortunatly, a win is a win is a win. Danzo wasin't using his resourses as well as sauskue was. In the end, Danzo was going to die, weather he beat sauske or not. Had he gone all out and managed to win, he still would have been extremly weakened, and tobi would easily kill him. Danzo was in checkmate that entire fight, and he wasin't even aware of it.
