Tobi being Obito was the most obvious theory in the world, because of that fact, many people rejected that theory(including me). People were over complicating things since it was one of the most important things in the story. When they were proven wrong, they were all pissed at Kishi
C'mon it was obvious, the opposite side Sharingan as Kakashi, almost the same jutsu(Kamui), the hair.
I was pissed too, but I realised that I was pissed about the fact that I was wrong, not because the story had gotten worse. The story was actually a 100 times better after this revelation.
I was also one of the people that thought it was all over Rin, but I was jumping to conclusions and not seeing the big picture. How much more mature and complex the element involved actually was. Obito's resolve frankly rivals that of Naruto, that is the point. Naruto believes in this world, Obito doesn't.U_U They are the opposites of each other. I could give a full page expansion on this subject, but no one will read it.
The Sage being an Uzumaki is also one of those things, the obvious thing, people are currently rejecting it...well...because they're people.:shrug: Always over complicating and rejecting the obvious.

Why is anyone with the power of the Uchiha and Senju, or anyone that possesses the Rinnegan, able to control the Juubi and it's vessel, The Gedo Mazo?
If The Sage of the Six Path's was really born with a Rinnegan, then why did he have to do battle with the Juubi, or why did he even have to seal the beast inside himself to stop it from from rampaging?
Why didn't he just take control of it with his Rinnegan? Why go to such length's to seal something as massive as the Juubi in his own body?
I'll tell you why, The Sage was not born with a Rinnegan! He wasn't born with any special powers, except for his Fuuinjutsu, with which he sealed the Juubi.
It was after, he became the Juubi's host, that his sons were born with traits of the Juubi itself.
Why does the Rinnegan allow control over the Juubi in the first place, along with Senju and Uchiha powers? Because they originate from the Juubi itself, which is why they are able to synchronise with it!
In a way, The Juubi is the true ancestor of the Uchiha and the Senju, that is why their powers, when combined, are able to take control over it!
