You can still like a character, even if they're useless.

Most of the hatred is directed at Sakura, this is because she has much more screentime and actually has a bad attitude. For example, she used to look down on Naruto, treated him like crap, and Sakura failed to kill Sasuke.

Tenten hasn't done any feats, but she hasn't done anything to make her get hated either.
