Liar Game - Dunno if it has an anime yet, but it definitely has a manga. It's physiological lie Death Note, however while Death Note focuses more on the value of peoples lives how corrupt people can become etc, Liar game focuses on the Greed of Humanity, and how there's enough to go around for everybody, but thanks to a select few many others are left in poverty.
Eureka Seven - It's somewhat similair to Code Geass in the sense that there's mechas, one kid who helps save the world with only a fraction of the people knowing about it etc. However unlike Code Geass, which can at times be very psychological and dark, Eureka Seven is more light hearted and treads down a Romance route. In the end it's more about one kids journey on the way to manhood and how he can grow to protect the one he loves. The first thirty episodes are practically all about character development and foreshadowing, while the last 20 episodes is when stuff gets real. It's a great anime, for me it wasn't as great as I hoped it would be, while for others it was ****ing spectacular. Opinions on this anime seems to vary slightly, but everyone seems to come to the general consensus that it is good.
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood - This is, without a doubt, the BEST, Storyline Shounen action anime/manga imo. This story has riveting plot twists comparable to those of Code Geass, while it shares very few aesthetic similairites with Code Geass, it does share some genre defining traits. This anime focuses on Revenge, Anger, Regret, Sorrow, yet at the same time introduces the possibility of a brighter future as two kids strive to get their body back.
