Shikaku and hq members are STILL ALIVE!!!

The most recent chapter showed the Juubi supposedly killing Shikaku and the people at HQ.

But:

Is Shikaku even dead? If I recall, Mabui was with him and the other members. She can transport matter at the speed of light.... they probably aren't dead...

What do you guys think? If this is the case, and they didn't die, does that mean Kishi failed in killing off remotely major characters? Or are there more deaths to come? Or do you think they are dead for real?

They wouldn't have survived the teleportation.Only the Raikage and Tsunade could because of Tsunade's healing ability.

I think they're dead since even if they used the transport thingy they cant durate it they would probably die, since only the third raikage was able to make that transport and tsunade since she has healing techs, but even with those healing techs of tsunade she still got wounded so i think they're dead

Mabui's jutsu is for things only. The only reason why Tsunade can be casted on is because of his rapid healing.

Dead for real. There was simply too many people at HQ to save them all. However, the squad that was fighting Muu, I don't recall seeing any of them at the battlefield yet. (Dodai, Minatos platoon, and others) They were pretty formidable shinobi as well, and could be of great use anywhere. Thing is, we didn't see them at the current battlefield yet (at least I didn't), so perhaps they went to HQ, there you have the FTG to take some away for safety at least.

Mabui probably can't transport a lot of people, since they would die, unless they are like raikage or tsunade, but they aren't. So that is out of the question.

Another person that was at HQ some chapters back is Akatsuchi (Onokis guard at kage meeting), but he has been missing for many chapters. I'm sure Kishi hasn't forgotten him. He vanished from HQ, when Onoki went out to battle. Plus he can fly.. So it's possible he could have saved a few people too.

But then again, I don't think it's likely that shikaku or inoichi survived. It just wouldn't fit the story, and Kishi is aware of this. But as I said, it is a possibility, but I don't think it's possible through Mabui.

Of course there is also the possibility that this (Dodai / Minato guards)-group could have found the kages, and helped them out. So we may soon be seeing another squad joining the battlefield. At least I think it's quite an interesting group. Possibly including Akatsuchi, who as I said, has been gone for a while. And right now they need strong doton users like Kitsuchi.
