those who say the current manga proves naruto is stronger have to look at it at this perspective.
Sasuke gets MS..amaterasu blaze release etc.. At this point he becomes stronger than naruto.
Naruto gets Sage Mode..at this point naruto becomes equal to sasuke in sense of durability. Sasuke would have eventually went blind fighting sage mode naruto due to plot. By the time they met up he was losing his eye sight and obito had to save him
Sasuke gets EMS...he received itachi's eyes long befor naruto received he next powerup. In theory I can assume sasuke gets upper hand over sage mode with EMS for the only reason he would have lost is because of him losing his eye sight. And now he has all of itachis visual gifts. Sage mode burned to crisp
Naruto Gets Bijuu Mode...this is what makes them equal. It balances it all out. Bijuu mode was probably created for naruto to counter sasukes new found power and gifts. we did not see all of his abilities yet but you can only imagine what sasuke is going to be doing with his new eyes. Kishi has allowed us to focus on narutos new abilities more because it is more important due to the current situation they are in and how madara and obito are pursuing him. Power wise naruto beats sasuke. But all sasuke needs is one attack and naruto is toast. Its a win win situation if they fight. Both candidates are fully equipped to win in a match to the death. This is ultimately why they are equal. No matter how many bijuu damas naruto blast out. Him wasting time charging can cost him his life
