Also just to elaborate a bit, the 2nd technique you don't have to get them wet first. Just because it's lightning you dont have too. They can still be paralyzed without it and in this case it's infused with a sword, so if you cut them it will hurt as well as able to cut off a limb.

Requires two windmil shurikens. You infuse raiton chakra into them which will create a lightning based chain connected to both of them. Target needs to be in the middle and caught in it to be effective.

The good thing about this jutsu is, if they decide to counter with a wind jutsu, they have to direct their attack towards the ground to counter.

Description: After performing the needed hand seals Rat → Monkey → Horse → Tiger the user will create a even more powerful version of lightning release: four pillar bind, the user creates sixteen giant pillars, which then form a giant oven to trap the enemy. It is often used after Earth Release: Mud Fall to cover the enemy target in mud and then follow up with using Fire release: Firing Biscuit, creating flames in the oven to roast and harden the mud, immobilizing the enemy.

Alright so you are using basically futon and raiton together on this combination jutsu. The idea is that when the vortex happens you also infuse with lightning chakra but is not negated. Though beaware, more than likely you will have to perform this in 2 steps if you do not have yin and yang training.
