Pokemon sucks now

I saw an episode of Pokemon Black and White last week. In this episode, Ash fights a newbie named Trip (I think) that just got his first pokemon.

Someone explain to me how ash, a veteran with a level 60+ pikachu loses to a newbie with a level 5 snivy? Wtf is that?
Not to mention most of the pokemon just look plain retarded now.

'Pokemon' got taken over by another corporation a few years ago. The results nowadays are garbage but they don't care they just want to increase the amount of pokemon so they can make more merchandise to sell.

I dont even wanna get started on pokemon, after ruby and sapphire i stopped playing the games because the pokemon were so idiotic, and I think at this point Ash should only need his pikachu, which im surprised hasn't just evolved on its own without a thunderstone considering how long he's had it

When I saw that episode last week I was like "Wtf? Pickachu is STILL a pikachu?" That's what made me watch the episode... I wish I hadn't lol

Pathetic.. If Pokemon had legit battle animation, not too much garbage looking pokemons and a good story-line it could have been popular even among teenagers. Although the games are still decent.

I have seen some of the anime that is being shovelled out nowadays too, the battles in gyms are almost turn based.

Tbh, Muk and Grimer didn't take much imagination and they are from 150.

Don't get me started on the gym battles. I was watching a gym battle and yelling at the television.
