Our war is a spiritual one. I've seen threads in the past discussing God, among other divine things. Upon viewing the replies, I realized the barrier and differences between people and how sad it all is. There are three types of people; The Chosen, The Call, and The Captive. Ask yourself which am I?

With that said, here are my questions.
First Series of Questions.
1) Does God exist? Why or Why not?
2) Are you religious? Why or why not?
3) What is your view of God? How did you arrive at it?

Second Series of Questions.
4) Is it possible for our main sacred texts to have utter different meanings than what's taught by the Priest-class to the masses? Why or Why not?
5) We have many religions in our world which postulate their God(s) as the only God. Why is the God of your religion the one true God? Are the others wrong for worshiping someone else? Do you have proof?
6) According to the Christian teachings, those who are non-believers will perish in hell, why? What is the difference between a non-believe and a believer?

Third Series of Questions.
7) Is it ignorant for someone to believe in something they don't know? Why or why not?
8) If you found everything you assumed to be true about your religion and its doctrine to be wrong, would you have the courage to renounce such false teachings? Why or why not?
9) If a man builds his house on a weak foundation and another fellow human being points it out to him in-order to prevent his house from falling to shambles, is it right or strong of the man to react in a positive light or a negative one? Why or Why not?
10) Is right and justified for a man of religious faith to murder another man to protect his faith? Even if he knows it(faith) to be a false one, built on lies, but its all he knew and the man he murdered took that away from him; is it strong or weak of the man of faith to commit such a vicious act in-order to protect his insecurity? Why or why not?

Fourth Series of Questions.
11) Are you a rational being? Why or why not?
12) Is it rational for mankind to live in unity or divided? Why or why not?
13) Is it rational for us to blindly follow traditions of hypocrisy? Why or why not?
14) Is it rational for us to celebrate holidays we don't know the origins of? Why or why not?
15) If we consider ourselves rational, should we research and form our own opinions or vomit up others? Why or why not?
16) Being rational, should we believe or stand by everything we are told? Even if we don't completely understand or agree with such things? Why or why not?

TL;DR.

Despite your enthusiasm for such topics, this thread will not serve any purpose but to create arguments. That is not the intention of the thread, but that is what happens.

If you want to talk about this kind of thing with people, go meet with them one on one for a private conversation.

Thank you.

honest reply in a minute

With that said, here are my questions.
First Series of Questions.
1) Does God exist? Why or Why not? - Offcourse, but the concept of God is to vast especially for religious people.
2) Are you religious? Why or why not? - no, because I think and not blindly follow.
3) What is your view of God? How did you arrive at it? I think God in general is a endless field of consciousness in comparison with Phi which all of us are part of. Years of research, questioning everything

Second Series of Questions.
4) Is it possible for our main sacred texts to have utter different meanings than what's taught by the Priest-class to the masses? Why or Why not? Priests want to dumb us down in order to control us. The prophets of each religion thought us to search for god from the inside (ourselves) not external search like going to church or w/e.
5) We have many religions in our world which postulate their God(s) as the only God. Why is the God of your religion the one true God? Are the others wrong for worshiping someone else? Do you have proof? Each religion has the same principle. In the end, its all the same and meant to bring us all to spiritual enlightenment. Too bad, out of all that knowledge, we created a dumbing down tool called religion which rooted itself down in our culture. Though I might sound offensive, I respect every religion because of the hidden messages in it. I just don't devote my life to praying and abiding by church rules and such.
6) According to the Christian teachings, those who are non-believers will perish in hell, why? What is the difference between a non-believe and a believer? I think the term believer is created by the curch. I don't think that the real Christian teachings tell us to abide or we will go to hell..no, I honestly think those texts are either misinterpreted or purposely translated into coded text to only reach the enlightened ones. Like, maybe 'believer' was meant to be interpreted as someone that's aware of his/her connection to the earth, people, universe blabla.

Sorry, too many questions -__-' hope that'll be enough

First off: Welcome

Second: This is not needed. Nor will I continue to advance myself in this.
Go talk about religion in the religious forums but NOT here. Sorry *reports*

Yeah, I'm cool with that. ^-^

I see no arguing about religion here at all. I'm over here wanting Niall's **** inside me.
I think that I'll report you the next time I hear you talking about him or the other part of that band (whenever it's off-topic). I'm a Beatles' fan but I don't involve them everywhere, so get over it girl and stop acting nut.
