I don't know man it's the same technique. I don't see why one would be stronger than the other simply because of a nickname. In my opinion the jutsu, chidori, is the type that depends solely on the strength of the user. On this premis alone I do agree that Kakashis lightning blade is the stronger version between his and Sasukes chidori.

Rasengan delivers the energy in to the target and damages a larger area - the water in the tank made the attack seem huge

Here Kakashi states that Naruto could have killed Sasuke in Rasengan VS Chidori clash, obviously implying Rasengan was more powerful.

Nope, even Sasuke himselft stated that Raikiri is not Chidori.
And Kakashi would use Rasengan instead of Raikiri if Raikiri was as powerful as Chidori.

you are all wrong weather the same or not it is not the jutsu thats stronger its the user of the jutsu..on the roof top it did not show that rasengan was stronger it showed the difference in naruto's strength compared to sasuke if they would of clashed then sasuke wouldve been blown back by the rasengan instead of it being a draw like it usually is

Rakiri is more concentrated chakra. And if they were the same how come Rakiri is S-rank and chidori is A-rank?!

We don't know. Maybe. Maybe not. We know that Raikiri>Rasengan, we know that Futon Rasengan>Rasengan, we know that Rasengan>Chidori, we know that Raikiri>Chidori...

Sasuke just shoots more Arrows and don't stop like last time, since we know Kakashi was feelin fatigue after Kamuin the first two. This isn't a Sasuke vs Kakashi. even tho Sasuke wins low difficulty

It does not proove your point at all... If you take the same amount of energy and should choose between concentrating that energy at a small or large area, what do you think would make the most damage to the targeted area?

because the energy delivered with the rasengan spreds in to the water and makes the attack seem bigger, while chidori doesn't really delivers much energy, but instead uses it to make sasukes hand sharp

Sasuke was more fatigued by shooting those two arrows than Kakashi with kamuing them, really.
Not to mention Kakashi was forced to use Kamui because he had no knowledge of Susanoo arrows. You really think this trick could be repeated and Kakashi would be helpless?
