Attention please!!!!!!

Hello everyone!!!!!
As you can see,I am not a new member.But I would like to say something .
Let's see now.Whenever a new member shows up,all you do is welcome them and give them a bunch of rules to follow.Do you honestly, believe that he/she will spare his/her time to go though all those rules. Honestly,I never read any rules.All I know is that I have to be polite and respect others and also help them in every way I can.So,instead of giving them responses like "wrong section ",please direct them towards the right section.They are going to be pleased ya know!!!!
And that's not all,they will love this site and spread it's fame around .It' really simple . :shrug::shrug:So how come you guys,never do this ??????
p.s.It took 20 minutes to understand all these sections.But still...... there are many things that I don't know.

I'm afraid that all they want is to increase their post count as they post same messages to every user that joins. Anyway it is recommended to read the global rules.

LOL It is also agaisn't rules to call out like "hey! Here me!" , "everyone read this". etc in the title of the thread like this very thread. So read the Global NB rules atleast.

Personally I hate it when people post the same welcome message to everyone. What are they? Bots! Huh? I know the newcomer will not notice it but after a while he will. If you want to welcome someone, type a new welcome message that fits the post the new member made. Copy Paste is just annoying.

I hate wall of text, so I have not read rules like you and probably will never read them :| As time passes, you will know them.

I totally agree with what you are saying.

I hate the copy pasted messages...

OT: I actually read/scanned the rules when I joined and took a lot of time browsing the site before actively posting.
Helped not to have any infractions later on

But yeah the basic rule is: 'Be polite and helpful' all the rules are basically centered around that and the prevention of certain things...[like spamming,double posting,bugging the mods etc]

Some do act like bot. Someone copy pasted a welcome in this thread as well. =DD

However, it`s always better if you skim through the forum rules. Especially if you are a first time forum user.

It`s not really an accomplishment to learn those rules via an infraction record on one`s profile. It comes as a shocker to them when they receive infractions or bans first time around as they never bothered to learn how a internet forum works.

As for copy paste welcome, that`s annoying but can`t be helped. I`m yet to introduce myself properly at this forum- never made a thread in this section.

Well...Since you´re not a new member...I can...
1. Wrong section. (Should be in Chatterbox or General discussion... I don´t know. But definitely it´s the wrong section )
2. I don´t know others, but when I joined NB I did read all the rules. Problem is that it was difficult for me to find the threads where the rules were. So I think it´s alright what other members are posting. If that member really want to stay long in the base, then he/she would try not to get infractions. And that is by following the rules.

Not all Welcome are copy-paste welcome But most are. But in my case, for example, I read the first post. And if it´s only something like "Hello" or "I´m new here", I can´t say anything else but welcome But some others (as I can see) don´t even read the firdst post :|

that is being done in the status quo by not member i must say.
anyway there is a suggestion section where you can post your inputs like this. thanks for the thought tho.
