Taijutsu and the Elements

This thread shows how people have manipulated the elements without using ninjutsu. Of course some of this isnt complete control over the element itself, but it is enough to do some damage to others.

Examples of utilizing elements when using high-level taijutsu:

So far we have not seen anyone using lightning except for the raikage using lightning armor, but that is considered nintaijutsu since he combines his taijutsu with lightning release ninjutsu.

Who needs elemental ninjutsu? If your Taijutsu level is high enough, you can still utilize the natural elements anyways, though in a much less controlled form.

Even the hyuuga advanced taijutsu uses several forms of fighting that resemble the elements and I can go into detail with that if you ask me to.

Idk know how the 8th gate would bring about anything with lightning, but its still a plausible theory. Tyvm

Wouldn't it be awesome with a sand/earth manipulating taijutsu artist? Like, he can turn into sand like Suigetsu's turns into water, harden his body like rock, summon additional arms from sand that can help punch etc

Gaara was an exception due to his incredibly powerful sand defense.

Kisame could have been killed by gai, but he needed to gain intel from him.

They aren't technically the elements themselves except Fire but more so based on the surroundings when the user goes into Gates.
