Shisui's Eyes

Reading the ''Danzo's reasoning'' thread made me think about something. Shisui's eyes were considered a great treasure by the Uchiha clan due to his infamous Kotoamatsukami, then how come they didn't notice that both his precious sharingans were gone ?? They would have wanted to secure them. Even if Itachi had put another person's eyes in Shisui's eyes socket, they would have noticed those weren't Uchiha's eyes or if Itachi managed to get a hold on sharingans ( very unlikely ) that they weren't Shisui's.

Danzo stole one of Shisuis eyes and he gave the other one to Itachi for safe keeping, then he commited suicide. Soo I dont get what your trying to say. :|

Did you even read it ? I'm asking why didnt the Uchiha notice that Shisui's sharingan were gone. With Shisui dead, they wouldn't have let his eyes go to waste so they should have noticed that his sharingans were gone and that something was definetely very wrong...

Thats why kabuto couldnt edo tensei him or he woulda had fun with his kotoamatsukami

In fact I'm asking why didn't they search for both. Shisui went to Itachi immediately after his eye was stolen (proof, there was still blood on his face) so I don't think the Uchiha knew about that

They didnt mention stolen eyes because they didnt know his eyes were gone, just that his body was gone
And itachi denied anythin to do with it so they couldnt get answers

Where is it stated that they didnt find his body ?? If I recall correctly, they only said Shisui commited suicide by drowning and he left a note. If you could link me the manga page where it is said that they didnt recover his body, it would be most kind of you

That note was so that itachi can set up shisuis departure from clan or prob even shisui himself wrote it before committin suicide

Yeah I think I remember Kabuto saying something like that. I thought it was because the Uchiha Clan had burnt Shisui's remains that Kabuto couldnt find anything. But it does makes more sense for Itachi not to leave a body behind as evidence. I'll look into it

Well, you have a good point. Itachi wouldn't have made such a rookie mistake. I just wanted to be sure because I didn't remember that it was stated that Shisui's body wasn't found.
