I have to say Nagato fans have to accept this....rather than bringing lame excuses like Bee and Naruto helped him.....Itachi could have sealed nagato with totsuka when he was holding down bee and naruto, rather than saving them.....

You do realize Nagato was immobile at the time right? His legs didn't work, so he couldn't move on his own, which is why Itachi was able to hit him with the sword. If Nagato could run, he would annihilate him.

Also Itachi needed the help of Sasuke to escape Kabuto's genjutsu. Kabuto was moving circles around him and it was only by chance that Izanami worked because Kabuto had a troubling past. Besides for Izanami to work, you need to replicate movement A twice....which means if Itachi wasn't an edo, he would be dead.
