Nobody but Guy could have beaten/capture Kisame?

I have had this on my mind for a while now. Kisame vs Guy on turtle Island when Kisame summoned 1000 sharks and did GSM could anyone else win that situation? replace Guy, could they get pass giant shark missle, 1000 sharks and capture Kisame?

at first though 4 came to mind. The rinnegan users( Nagato, Madara) Tobirama, Hashirama but with second thought Tobirama's attack would get absorbed, and Hashi is a maybe. Other than Guy, and the rinnegan users who could have won this situation and how? (bonus points if he is captured alive.) please give details.

bonus scenerio: Who can win this. Kisame makes waterdome and makes or summon 100+ sharks?

Minato would beat him, he can teleport out of the dome. As for the sharks, they can't keep up with him and are only useful in water. Knowing Minato he would scatter kunai outside of the dome before the fight happens.

Okay, we've seen Minato scatter kunai's before he fights. Some might say the dome could cover the kunai as well. This is where gamabunta comes along and gets him the hell out of there. Then I'm sure a rasengan to the face would take him out. Taijutsu is worthless since Minato would batter Kisame. He also won't get the chance to use samehada effectively due to Minato's speed.

He could teleport the sharks somewhere else with S/T barrier as well.

Agree with kisame having home field advantage being able to use a justu that absorbs the chakra based attack of the user into its own attack is very deadly no matter who you are gai was the only one at the time who had the right technique to counter such a justu

How does anyone cast a genjutsu? With the Uchiha it could be forcing eye contact and the 2nd mizukage could probably land him in genjutsu also. Of course if Kisame merges with his sword he can sense where the mizukage actually is.

Screw it. Sasori and Deidara would beat Kisame as well. Deidara is airborne and would blow the crap out of Kisame, kisame has no counter for C3/4. Sasori's a puppet and his 100 puppet technique would own the sharks.

Shit like this happened early in naruto, like neji vs kidomaru, he was the only one who could cut the webs. I know in this example many other ninjas at the time could beat him, just in that situation he was best suited to beat him. The great shark bullet would beat 9/10 ninjas IMO, just happens Gai's new jutsu wasn't chakra, there wasn't gonna be another battle so kishi had to end it in one somehow
