This is a flashback story so if they do clash, then it'll change the whole current of the shinobi war... kinda like "don't mess the time continuum" thing...

True , I think it's a cheap ability that doesn't compare to nagatos raw power, but I don't see nagato beating intangibility , or see him figuring out tobi's jutsu,
