If naruto wasn't the protagonist of the series, which one would you choose and why?

Personally I would choose Rock Lee. He is one of my favourite characters and it would be interesting to see him as the protagonist. He always works hard, just like Naruto and he never gives up. That's what I like about Lee. Their rivalry with Sasuke would be perfect too, they would fight all day and in the end they would even argue because of sakura's liking to sasuke. That would be amazing to see.

Even though minato is my favorite, i would have to say Killer Bee.

1.) He was happy during all periods of his life, even though he was a jinchuriki

2.) Was strong enough to perform a double lariat with A even when he was just a kid

3.) tamed the second strongest tailed beast fully, without even having any special bloodline limit to speak of

4.) He is just an entertaining ninja/pervert, but is really tactical and somewhat intelligent.

5.) He tends to make friends with everyone really easy, and introduced the whole bonding-with-fist-bumps thing.
