Why Gaara>Sasuke

This is why Gaara is the worst match-up to Sasuke.

First off, with Shukaku he can counter Sasuke's Tsukiyomi and genjutsu, especially with his tsukiyomi being as weak as it is.

Secondly, his perfect defense can block Amaterasu and Susano'o arrows, as well as all the fire jutsu Sasuke uses. Amaterasu burns slowly and so Gaara has time to get away before it hits him.

Lastly Gaara's nature type is wind, while Sasuke's is lightning, and wind>lightning.

Don't say Sasuke will chidori his ass because that didn't work last time, he ended up needing Naruto to save him.

EDIT: Gaara WITH Shukaku, dumb bums. And stop telling me doesn't have shukaku now, I know that, I'm to date with the whole manga ¬.¬

Also Gaara's sand can be used to break through Susano'o. And Sand Coffin owns.

And don't say anything if you can't back it up! Seriously what is the point ¬.¬

Yeah you make a point but we never know if Gaara would win against Deidara in a rematch, seeing as he had to protect the village of that clay nuke and that wasted his chakra.

Yes, but Kakashi has the sharingan, you can see the next frame of what your opponent's attack will be that's how they predict movements and attacks. and sand won't protect it if danzo's wood tree couldn't.
