Mount Myōboku
The Elder Toad & the Rikudō Sennin
It was a dark night as the rain was pouring down from the heaven, the thunder was raging across the sky and you could hear the beasts roar across the land, as it was tearing apart everything in its path. The great Rikudō Sennin stood on a giant earth pillar above the village, to protect the world from this raging beast, the Juubi.
The Juubi crushed the giant pillar that the Rikudō was standing on; with a single swipe with its tale as it screamed into the sky releasing a massive stream of lightning which send down a massive storm of lightning upon the Rikudō. And as the Rikudō was on his way down, he quickly formed three hand seals as a massive cloud at the size of the Juubi appeared and the lightning struck the smokescreen. As the smokescreen dispersed, the lightning had vanished and the Rikudō Sennin was standing on an enormous toad at the size of the Juubi, holding an enormous staff with engravings from an ancient race of powerful creatures, where the staff emitted lightning around it.
Elder Toad: “Rikudō-Sama… you summoned me to fight this creature… that is impossible!!!”
Rikudō: “Trust me my friend… this is the only way we can do this…”
Elder Toad: “I will do my best!!!”
As the Rikudō finished talking to his old friend, the great elder toad of Mount Myobōku, the giant beast blasted forward at the giant toad as it emitted a huge flame from its one eye, creating a massive sphere of flames surround both the beast and the toad leaving no escape as it again forced massive pillars to rise around the elder toad, though the great elder toad quickly utilized his massive staff and the lightning to send a powerful shockwave through the ground shattering the pillars and temporarily paralyzing the great beast.
Juubi: “ROAR!!! You think you can touch me… mere mortals!!!”
Rikudō: “I do not intend to touch you at all… my real intentions are to seal you…”
Juubi: “Ha! No one can seal me inside themselves… it’s impossible!!!”
As the Juubi finishes talking, it quickly springs forward with massive force smashing its massive hand straight into the elder toads face, sending it flying into the flames with the Rikudō. As the flames engulf the mighty toad, the Rikudō quickly forms a single hand seal as the rain drops from the sky forms into a massive orb of water in the middle of the air above them and it falls down upon the giant toad, extinguishing the fire immediately.
Rikudō: “Are you alright my friend…”
Elder Toad: “I’m alright… just finish this…”
Rikudō: “I will make sure this beast doesn’t take any more lives…”
As he says this, he dashes over the great elder toads stomach towards the Juubi and as he approaches the beast it emits a massive beam of lightning towards him, and in that moment the sun broke through the clouds shining down upon the Rikudō Sennin as he released a massive wind sphere, which blasted away the lightning and continue to crush into the Juubi smashing it into the ground with enormous force, as the Rikudō landed on the ground in front of it.
Rikudō: “MY FRIEND!!! I need your help!”
Elder Toad: “I’m coming!”
The Rikudō formed a quick set of hand seals as the giant great elder toad sage, came down from the sky above smashing into the beast using his giant spiked fork like weapon to restrain it’s head while sitting on the top of its back forcing it into the ground, trying to hold it down just long enough for the Rikudō Sennin to finish his move.
Rikudō: “Almost there!!!”
Elder Toad: “I can’t hold it much longer!!!”
As the Rikudō was about to finish his sequence the Juubi forced its mouth open and formed an enormous Tailed Beast Bomb straight in front of the Rikudō, as he Elder Toad tried to stop the beast from using it by forcing the fork even further into the ground, as the Rikudō slammed his hand on the ground and in the last possible second a massive force of a thousand golden chains erupted from the ground surrounding the beast restraining it completely and forced the beast to stop its massive attack.
Rikudō: “That was… *pant* … close…”
Elder Toad: “It’s not over yet Rikudō – Sama”
Rikudō: “I know… I have to seal it…. *pant… pant*… before it is released…”
Elder Toad: “You can’t do it… no one has been able to ever restrain this beast… how, do you expect to keep it from destroying the world…”
Rikudō: “I’m going to seal it inside my own body…”
Elder Toad: “That is impossible… such power cannot be wielded by a single man!”
Rikudō: “I have to try….”
He slowly walked up to the great Juubi, having an enormous amount of respect and despair for the beast he slowly formed the hand seals needed for his sealing jutsu, while looking into its eyes.
Rikudō: “This ends today…”
Juubi: “Rikudō I am going to kill you!!!”
The Rikudō placed his palms firmly on the Juubis head, as he released his chakra into it as the chains attached to his body and the power of the great beast and its entire body turned into pure chakra and as it poured into his body, he screamed in pain from the massive and intense power from the beast.
Rikudō: “ARGH!!!! It’s too much!!!”
Elder Toad: “You can’t do this alone…”
The Great Elder Toad Sage, stood in front of him watching his friend in pain, as he placed his hands together and a massive natural energy formed around him, creating a massive sphere of pure natural energy which the Toad Sage transferred from himself to the Rikudō, giving the Rikudō a vast amount of energy to sustain the power of the Juubi temporarily, while the Rikudō Sennin entered the mighty Sage Mode to help him sustain the beast and seal it completely inside his body.
The Rikudō Sennin fell to his knees as the beast was sustained in his body and his chakra was nearly depleted, while the Great Toad Sage was sitting in front of him with blood dripping from his body and his eyes had turned completely white. The Rikudō Sennin slowly looked up, barely able to walk, as he stood up to face the Toad Sage.
Rikudō: “It’s finally over…”
Elder Toad: “The wrath of the Juubi will never end my friend… and you know it…”
The Rikudō Sennin fainted the second after he heard his old friend speak those words to him, and before he could hit the ground, the Elder Toad Sage grabbed him and used his reverse summoning technique to return to the great mountains of the land of the toads, Mount Myobōku. There the great Rikudō Sennin would learn from the Great Elder Toad Sage, the sacred arts of the toads and become great friends with the toads, beginning a new era of powerful sages and great shinobis, sustaining peace throughout the world for many generations, until the Rikudō himself settled down and got married to a beautiful woman from the clan of the Hyuuga, giving birth to two sons.
As The Rikudō Sennin woke up several years later in his room, he looked around to see his wife lying in the bed beside him, and he slowly went out of the bed to walk down into the kitchen and out into the open fields of the beautiful morning sun, where he saw his two young sons playing around in the grass.
Rikudō: "Good morning..."
Younger Son: "Good morning dad... are you going to teach us ninjutsu today...."
The younger son stared at his father with wide open puppy like eyes.
Elder Son: "Yea dad... won't you teach us some amazing jutsu... please!"
The Rikudō Sennin looked at his two sons with great pride as he sat down in front of them and put his hands on their shoulders, before looking into their eyes, feeling their strength growing by the minute and seeing great promise in them, and hoping that one of them will be able to take on the heavy burden that one day must be passed on.
"Today we are going to learn the summoning jutsu..."
