Exactly how strong is Tsunade now?

Well, now... as we can see, you can still rip her to shreds and she's going to get back and pwn you, lol.
Now on a serious note, for me she has always been in top 10. She may not have flashy jutsus and big flashy offensive, but what is offensive good for if you cannot pass by the defensive? And in my opinion, she has the ultimate defense, along Gaara.
To be able to do those things after you got split in 2. Hell, no current shinobi has shown such feats.
Probably Hashirama had them. And that, once again makes me wonder, how exactly did he die? Killed in battle seems a bit far-fetched as we can see how Tsunade handles this and her granddad is supposed to be way more powerful than her.

I think Tsunade is a very formidable woman, especially for her age, she will most likely heal the other Kage, and then die, putting Naruto as Hokage.. but she is a very strong character, probably in top 8, i'd say

She is the 2nd strongest Kage right now. Onoki is the first.
Yes, she is in top 10 if Minato, Hashirama, Nagato, Itachi, etc. is not included. They are dead. And yeah, Tsunade is definetly in the current top 10.

I don't see why people underrate Tsunade, their reasons don't seem to be justified seeing as she can solo and survive longer than any kage against Madara, Hashirama, and any top ninja, and if she even lands ONE hit, it's all over. Sure she's not as fast as Raikage, she has no flashy jutsus, she has no kekkei genkai, but what she does have, as Tsunade put it, is something that's been flowing through the ages, and that's her real strength: the will of fire, and her physical strength from being a Senju.

Let me correct myself. She's weak in comparison to the greatest characters. There are quite a few who can beat her. Also, Onoki has done more in the fight, Madara recognized that he was the problem.

This is my list of people I would put above her. (In no particular order)

Than for what is the offensive good if the defensive in not penetrable? If you cannot win over your opponent that doesn't mean you have a victory.

From that list, I agree with Madara (just because he's an edo), Tobi (because up to now we don't know much, just that he can warp), Naruto (clearly the strongest of them all), Minato (sealing techs), Hashirama (obvious reasons), Hiruzen (it was her teacher, he must know how to win over her, plus he was called the God of Shinobi for something), Jiraya and Muu, just because he's invisible.

That's fair enough, we all have differing Opinions.

I won't argue over the list, this isn't a Vs thread. However, she's not beating Itachi. Totsuka Blade. Or Sasuke with Blaze Release, she'd never touch him. But, that's for another thread.

She's in the High-Kage league, that's for sure. But that's as high as she goes for me.

I'm not trying to underrate her in anyway, I just think there are several more characters that are stronger. No offense to you, but she's just outside Top 15 in my book.

She's definitely top 10 out of all the living ninjas right now for sure, but I've always thought this before this chapter came out. I feel like a broken record repeating this, but I feel it's not her time to die yet. I mean she'll probably die in this "War Arc", but I don't think her getting herself chopped in half is going to take her out. She clearly stated to Katsuyu that she'll worry about herself after she heals the other Kage. So if she can summon Katsuyu, in addition to healing 4 kages, while being chopped in half I definitely think she can heal herself. Only time will tell though.

Maybe, she can bust out a new move, if she doesn't die.
