It will be a while before Madara is defeated. He is slowly taking over Obito's role as the main villain in the story and it seems that Obito may possibly betray Madara. You are also forgetting about Sasuke's journey as well, if Naruto is to defeat Madara then there's a high chance that Sasuke will help with that defeat, as he did seem shock that Madara was still around after Edo Tensei had been cancelled.

I am neither high nor trolling....that question was meant to the readers out here....and that was me saying i have no idea what would they do.....But again we should not underestimate them...Shikamru is good with plans....and everybody is good with something...may be they team up together...can buy some time for naruto.....
