The rinnegan doesn't bring the dead back to life it allows you to control the dead bodies, likean advanced version of the puppetmaster jutsu, due to the fact tht the bodies can't actually think on their own unlike edo tensei without putting in the mindcontrol thing.

This isn't true. Nagato could only bring back the people he killed in Konoha because he was low on chakara and that's all he could manage within that range. He killed himself by doing so. If Jiraya weren't so far away and at the bottom of the ocean, then Nagato could have brought him back too.

The only thing which would stop someone from being revived is if they were sealed, out of the techniques range, or if there wasn't enough chakara to do the technique.

That makes no sense, Pain tried to undo the harm he made to Naruto, if he could save Jiraya he would have waited and done it, he wouldn't die in vain, and Jiraya were both their sensei, if it was possible with rinne tensei he would have done it.

First and for most - I was just as surprised as every one else with a theory of Tobi absent of Obito.

That said, as soon as I read the revealing manga - 599 - a few things came to my mind.

† How did Obito age to the point where he could say to Kushina in 501, “Do you have ANY idea how long I’ve waited for this moment?!”

† Where did he get all that Hashirama DNA?

Just by asking those two questions the riddle seemed to lay it’s self down before me.

Orochimaru

He has just come back in to the manga as a player among players. He’s pulled every string imaginable. Every dirty trick. Learned every Jutsu needed, and more, to get what he wants. A Sharingan - along with all the perks, bells and whistles that an Uchiha body comes with. Enter Obito. A young Uchiha boy with a dream fallen in to tragic circumstances.

Now given the latest 600 issue it’s hard to say weather there was influence by Orochimaru & Madara or just Madara - but my instinct is that it’s both.

In this new chapter Obito clearly states that his MS was awakened by the death of Rin. How can I say that? Because that’s how I believe he was saved ... by slipping through the rock which fell and crushed his body. Think X-Men, teenaged mutant has latent power - this power manifests it’s self through stress and duress. Same with the Sharingan. The MS just has the precondition of the death of a close friend. All of the things which happened to him were just the right conditions needed for Obito to awaken and unconsciously use the ‘slipping’ Time/Space ability of his MS.

At this same time that MS was activated for Kakshi - but we have to remember that Kakashi is not an Uchiha and has no where near the kind of body needed to handle using the Sharingan. That’s why he started using it much later on in his life.

Now, this means that the MS awakening obviously happened soon after Obito was left in the cave-in ... how long was he was alive for? That’s hard to say, but it’s a theory.

I personally think it makes sense for Obito to have met Orochimaru in the same dimension he warps himself in to seeing as Obito’s dimension and Orochimaru’s ‘inner’ dimension look almost identical. However that again is still speculation. Though it would then make sense that Obito would meet Madara through Orochimaru.

Add a Zetsu in to the mix and you have the makings of the masked Tobi we’ve been staring at for the last 318 issues.

So back to Time/Space Ninjutsu - these two possibilities are what I have arrived at about Obito being so old when he faced off against Minato:
† Obito had a growth spurt. Or ...
† Obito’s parallel dimension is exactly like the Hyperbolic Time Chamber from DBZ.

I mean come on, think about it, we all know how much Kishimoto loves to parody DBZ. So this is how I think it would work - basically all of the Time/Space Ninjutsu in the Naruto-Universe use the same parallel dimension [PD]. It’s just that the different T/S Jutsu - plural - work to varying degrees. For instance - Minato travels through the PD when he preformed the FTG and in this way ‘folded space.’ Obito on the other hand travels directly in to the DP with his ‘Migration.’

Lastly to all you haters out there - keep reading the manga, you may just be surprised.

I'm kind of hoping that Madara decides that he doesn't need Obito anymore and just offs him. Then all that would matter is Madara's reasoning, which must be more interesting than Obito's.

Pretty good chapter, like most of people, didn't like the flashbacks, nothing new...

One thing I was thinking and I think it will be awesome if it happens and I would like your opinion in this matter.

We still don't know the full history of Rin, and I hope we find out soon, but I think it's possible that Madara was the one who killed her/caused her death and manipulated Obito to join forces with him.

And if this is true, it will be fun to see how would he react when he knows the truth, and here is where Orochimaru enters, maybe he has the poof that Madara killed Rin or caused her death, and he is gathering that information with Sasuke to show to Obito and it can make a huge turn on the manga's history, wich would be interesting.

Maybe Obito could turn on Madara and tries to kill him, because to me, if the 5 kages can't kill Madara, Naruto can't kill Madara and Obito, something has to change, and I think that Obito is the key, but what do you think?

I think it's an interesting theory and possible, give me your opinions on the future please.

Like many of you I think it's rather stupid that Obito is all pissy because Rin died--at least for now that's what the only reason seems...I really hope there is more to it.

But I want to see the battle between all of them now...let's see how Naruto does.

I say flying cause he just landed there. I think Kishi is just half assing it right now. Maybe its not in him anymore and he wants to dedicate time to his family? I mean, look at episode 599, the 4th hokage's face is in the mountain, Madara in 600 has Edo Tensei contract again, etc. I don't think there are plotholes as much as unexplained part of the story, but come on, 10 pages of kakashi gaiden flashback? Seriously? Why not explain how obito survived AND THEN Madara could have arrived.

while i agree that the recent development in the manga is kinda retarded,
i don't think there is a plot hole, because we did know that obito pretend to be madara before the real madara actually come out,

now obito stated that he was the one who encourage yahiko to create akatsuki and gave nagato the rinnegan but he said all that when he claim himself as madara right ?


we can easily assume that what he's talking about is true knowing that madara is alive to the point of nagato childhood right ?
so that's mean obito stated the truth as madara spokesmen,

it doesn't mean that obito use some kind of time travel method via the boulder and get back to the past, madara simply save his ass and brain washed the brat and turn him into the man that we know now,

to put it simply, tobi/obito knowledge coming from madara knowledge its just that simpleU_U

Also remember that madara was the first person to get rinnegan so he gave those eyes to the boy nagato most likely. He probably had the ninja attack nagatos fam just to awaken the eyes in him. Using the zetsu cells he lived really long and probably used the last of his life strength to save obito then he died and was found by kabuto who resurrected him

The 4th was young when he became hokage so the mountain thing is not a mistake. And he is still in edo just not under anyone control he is like a living dead guy... Immortal

Who wants to bet Sasuke will show up within 20 chapters. There is no way Naruto can keep up with 2 masters of the Sharingan. The good guys are gunna need an uchiha to win. Then Sasuke is gunna almost die and awaken the renningan (or steals 1) and is narutos final boss after like 100 filler episodes. Thats how predictable Kishi has made this manga. Honestly this manga has repeated every story since the begining.

It still feels interesting to me even though you can tell what's going to happen. If you used that mentality then you probaly wouldn't find any stories to be honest. All of them originate from something are definately nothing completely new.

I just noticed that there isn't a giant plot hole as far as Nagato/Pain and Kakashi/Obito's ages. They should be relatively the same age because look how old Jiraya was when he first met Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko. However as far as Madara meeting Obito is questionable but I know Kishi will patch that up. Furthermore, losing the love of your life is a legit reason to say f*** the world. Naruto is trying to save the world by stopping his best friend from destroying it. I think that most people just read the manga in order to complain. I LOVE NARUTO!!! I don't care if the plot drags or skips, it has always been a wonderful story. One that I admire most.

That why you are a Kishi Balls Boy cheerleading Drone Sheep and for now on nobody should ever reply to your text, because you don't care about using your brain and having your own opinion and theories, but seem to be about being bias for Kishi because it sound like you'r more in love with Kishi than a good story or plot line. Also is carrying Kishi balls and bat hard to do all day everyday or do you just lay down now and than and play with them in your mouth.

By the way Nagato is the older or no less than the same age as Minato. Jiraya taught Nagato in the first war, before Orochmaru went full darkside, which was 20 year ago, meaning it was way before that because Jiraya stay with them for 3 years and train them. Also Jiraya heard Nagato and the other die and after thought Minato was the choosen one(I don't think he would have just look over Minato and skip pass him who was a genius, if he train him before Nagato).
