Well let me start by first saying hi to everyone on NB :b
Now I like reading threads and seeing the opinions of other people but i tend to come across a lot of threads like 'Itachi pwns minato' or 'Nagato pwns minato' which kinda get annoying.
Now let me state this, IF minato was so weak, you wouldn't even be comparing him to the likes of itachi, nagato etc :flaw:. I don't seeing people making threads like 'itachi pwns ino' :shrug: and i don't believe someone who is 'weak' can become hokage at such a young age.
I'll admit that is he is prob my favourite character alongside itachi, nagato, young kushina (lol shes so cute n funny xd) and tobi but that dosen't mean ill be a fanboy and overrate him. In a lot of discussions i see 'we haven't seen much from minato' which i agree with, but from what we have seen i don't think theres anybody thats put minato on the back foot yet.
From what we have seen he completely owns A who a MS sasuke had trouble coping with, he was able to counter kurama and able to beat tobi in a single confrontation. The only other people able to touch tobi were konan (through studying him over time) and kakashi's group (by using his own power against him).
Now i think minato is the strongest hokage bar hashirama (although i see him beating minato, he'll definitely get a fight lol
)
Now lets start the vs threads.
VS Itachi
Now i don't really see itachi getting minato in tsukuyomi, however if he does i don't see minato getting out but i don't think minato is the type of char to get caught in genjutsu.
Amaterasu - A dodged it - minato is faster than A - nuff said.
Now the problem is Susanoo, I defo don't see him breaking it with a rasengan xd but if minato marks itachi beforehand he can prob get inside (don't say he can't coz gaara's sand got inside madara's). Now people says itachi wins coz of the blade of totsuka but fail to realize you actually have to hit minato with it lol :sy: which i don't think we've seen anyone do yet.
Now if he avoids tsukuyomi and totsuka then it comes down to stamina which minato comes out on top. Plus minato is 1 of the only chars who's intelligence matches itachi's (the other being kakashi).
Btw Inazami does not count, itachi only used it coz he was an edo.
VS Nagato
Believe it or not i actually think he would beat the six paths of pain quite easily.
Naraka Path- doesn't put up that much of a fight against minato
Preta Path - Taijutsu
Animal Path - Gamabunta etc.
Human Path - same as Naraka
Asura Path - was the first to go vs sage mode naruto n will prob b the first to go here
Deva Path - Bansho Tenin - minato can teleport away
Shinra Tensi - minato can overcome the 5 second limit
Chibaku Tensei - minato could also teleport out of this
Shared Rinnegan vision - i think ftg takes care of this
Now vs Nagato himself -
now this could be a problem xd
we all know that nagato surpasses minato in terms of chakra and power plus he can use all the powers of the paths means ninjutsu won't work but neither will taijustu as the 5 second limit on shinra tensei is now gone.
so minato can ftg all he wants but i don't see him getting past nagato's defense. Unless minato can find a way nagato takes this but u never know.
People i think minato could possibly beat (remember i said could)
Ems Sasuke - if itachi can't beat him then sasuke defo can't, he may have more power than itachi but itachi outsmarts him all the way
Bm Naruto - u might think im mad but if minato can counter a full powered kurama than naruto with half kurama's power isn't any better lol
Rinnegan tobi - people say he can't beat tobi anymore coz 16 years have passed n tobi is wiser but if minato had lived wouldn't he have been? plus if kakashi and guy can last this long then minato can defo put up a good fight here
Ems Madara - this is due to the fact that i don't believe ems madara can use the perfect susanoo, otherwise he would never have lost to hashirama. PS is prob due to hashirama's chakra lvls.
hashirama - minato prob gets his ass whooped here :T_T:
rinnegan Madara - minato is dead xd
Kushina - She kicks his ass big timexd

, people keep saying he can ftg to outer space etc which is BULLSHIT _O- xd he is strong and good(father atleast) , but i think he will be defeated against most people in that list in their current states (or before they were goners) :scorps: and yes.. welcome to the forums! :hey:
