You know, whether Obito killed Rin to gain his mangekyou (IDK, i think it's about 50-50 chance of occurence), he did this all to avenge Kakashi for letting Rin died. Remember what Obito's last wishes? Yeah, so did he survived by any chance only to heard the news that Rin of Konoha were died by some unknown Kishi's plot no jutsu. So he like: "WTF, Kakashi! Now you're gonna pay."
Watch how in the latest chapter Obito madly in love towards Rin. Yes, unrequited one. So that's the motive, IMHO.
Obito always been my favorite. Whatever his reasons are, now I'm Tobi's (Obito) follower! HARHARHAR!

Think Obito could be related to Madara. Thats a huge connection and reason for him to care about the Tsuki no me. And maybe thats why people called him the black sheep of Uchiha.

Its funny how similair Obito is to Tobi when you think of it, Obito cared about comrades more then the system, and thats what Tobi has done too.

good sir, your sig, has just arose many questions, and answers. if rin was alive then what was she doing at the time? and why did she make ONE appearance when no one knew who she was? people tend to agree obito's 3 tome can transfer his body into the other dimension. so if rin IS alive at the time of the 3rd death then she must have died when kakishi awoken ms. maybe the same time as obito awoke it. maybe he really did kill her,or maybe, just maybe shes still alive, forever hidden in the background, doomed to not evev be important enough to be killed to awaken ms. still thou, your sig, blew my mind.

You are so dense.... He graduated because he was much more skilled than Obito and he was an underachiever... Guy is older than both Obito and Kakashi, and Guy graduated to become a Genin at 7, retard....
Obito's only SEVEN MONTHS older than Kakashi.

lol says the guy on a different side of this argument in another thread, i personal think that when kishi made the datatbook it was when he decided obito wasnt going to be tobi, so he didnt really care and wrote down any age. but as even some with bad vision can tell, is taller then kakashi in gaiden. ik what the databook says, but peoples relicnce on the databook for facts os whats causing "plotholes" besides iv seen char bios for a show be different from what really happens in the show. the databook is unreialbe because its old, and any good manga changes over time. besides, i dont think kishi even cares about the age. its his manga, he'll do what he wants, if the magna says obitos older by more then a couple months, then he is and to hell with the databook.

If MAdara has given his eyes to Nagato his Edo would be blind^^

Obito is not the o.f.m (original fake madara) obviously the o.f.m who attacked the village and fought with the 4th, is the guy who found obito and healed him, and made him his pupil, obito became tobi after being taught by ofm who i assume died.

You tobi = obito believers should just wake up from the delusion or dream you're in. @eternalmangekyourinnegan and some others has cleared up all rubbish about tobi = obito theories and @pilyop just used sarcasm conclude,that was funny. rep to all tobi not obito believers. Yes! we know its obito body obviously. Chapter 599 ended with tobi just staring at them and guy asking "are you....obito?", it didnt end with tobi saying something like "yeah you caught me it's me obito, happy now?". Kishi just wanna confuse us and some has already fallen for that,we should give kishi a name, "the mindf**ker" or more politely "the mindtwister". But we can still just wait patiently for wednesday and see what kishi has for us. Peace!

The pic on your sig might be one of animator mistakes. While Kishi had never mentioned about Rin, the animator took the liberty to draw her just because she's one of Kakashi's teammate. I mean there's no information about her at that time, whether she died or not. Except, I miss the facts that Rin had been introduced for that long...

This the the possible theory: Obito took the role of Madara ASAP as he master the Kamui. While the other Madara in the past, the one who fought the forth ang given Nagato Rinnegan was totally different Madara. So this Madara has known Obito, and somehow agreed to work with him. IDK. This confussing.
