All we know is what Kisame thinks he saw. The sharingan is boss at casting Genjutsu; it's completely possible Tobi simply fooled him like he fooled everyone else. Also, the only reason he held a candle to the 4th (who beat him anyway, btw) or ANYONE for that matter is because his Mangekyou ability is OP. He's basically invincible, and his jutsu is difficult to figure out (Kakashi really only got it because of his experience with his own jutsu). Kakashi and Gai were quite a bit older; and the 4th had become Hokage, got married, and had a kid in that time. It isn't ridiculous that Obito unlocked his MS in that time. Of COURSE there are puzzle pieces missing, but the real tragedy is if it turned out to be someone completely undeveloped. Just because people heard about some other Uchiha in a brief story in a few panels of the manga doesn't mean they are fleshed out enough to be the main villain. Obito and Kakashi's story is very well evolved.

Maybe there are two masked persons one still in the shadows controlling obito U_U
cause we know that mizukage who is said to be the perfect jinjurri and 4th hokage fastest one in the NU was trolled by a child of 16 years :noc:

you don't know when the attack happened. it could've been two or three years which would make him about 16 and with a growth spurt(the same naruto had) he would be adult sized with a deeper voice.

Kakashi is 30. Attack was 16 years ago, making him about 14.

As the title says,I think that Tobi can't be Obito,because there are too many plot holes.

First of all,Tobi was controlling the mizukage,when Obito wasn't even born or was very little.(You might say that the one controlling the mizukage was Madara,which may be true).

Let's say that Obito was saved by Zetsu and trained by Madara,that still doesn't explain how he got so powerful,knew everything and learned about Kurama and how to control it.And if I remember corectly,he said when he was taking out Kurama from Kushina that he waited a long time for this.How is this possible when he was like 14?And his voice changed so much after just a year.A year before he was a little kid that could be beaten by Rin,and after a year he went toe-to-toe with Minato,the fourth hokage.

So,in my opinion,someone uses Obito's body and controlles it.What are your thoughts?

Ill like to thank you for passing your knowledge down to these Tobito fanboys/fangirls. Your points are valid. You sir are a very very knowledgable man and I would like to thank you for that. I do to believe Obito's body is being manipulated the question going forward is buy who? I still am and will be a firm Tobi/Izuna believer until Kishi proves me wrong. Today's chapter didn't prove anything as Mangapandas interpretation of the last panel is not the same on others manga sites I'm not bashing them they do a great job every week but this week there was another interpretation of the manga and the last panel says "The name Obito finally surfaces" what does this mean? Well the answer is obivous it means that tobi is in fact Obito or isn't to me that man didn't even look like Obito but if it is Obito's body I'm more than sure that someone from faraway is controlling him prefurlly Izuna.

I still think he is Kagami Uchiha. It makes the most since to me. He and madara would ACTUALLY have a grudge against the leaf. Kagami being Obitos AND Shisuis dad and all!!!

I just want to say even if Tobi is not actually Obito but just using his body, this was such a disappointing reveal. Usually twists are meant to be exciting but I found it rather disappointing.

I am new here,but been watching you here for a lot of time what you write.
Just take this... Tobi,obito now TAKE THE LETTERS FROM OBITO AND make them in another way. you get tobio, now because there are 2o they just made one O instead of 2. and you get TOBI. TOBI WAS MEANT TO BE OBITO FROM THE START.

i knew that it was Obito from the day they reaveld space time justu that take u 2 other dimensions and kakashi was able to do the same, but wat bothers me, where did he got his medical skillz and all these guts, cos Obito was very shy and not an outgoing shinobi

I'm pretty sure it's Obito's mind in there. I thought there was a lot of plot holes as well, bud i still had a feeling in the back of my mind it was going to end up being Obito, especially so with the hints towards it in the recent chapters.

Hopefully some of the things like yagura being controlled and how he was able to become so powerful in such a short time span will be explained, but I'm not that upset tbh. At least it was somebody we recognized when his face was shown. If it was someone else we'd probably see their face and be ?????

I was one to say it was izuna. But it being tobi gives more of a reason kiahi did kakashi gaiden. Cause that part was focused more on obito than kakashi. I agree with some people though. The chapter said obito uchiha but the chapter ended with a question. It didnt end off saying " yes i am obito". So that still leaves a chance it might not be obito even with all things pointing towards him

I agree with this theory, but just one point to add that when Kabuto first appears before Tobi/Obito with all the coffins of heavy weights and the resuraction technique along with the coffin of Madara calling it his "trump card", Tobi/Obito didn't look very happy. Now if Madara had really been Tobi's mentor then my guess is that they didn't part on good terms.
And also if Madara knew about Impure resurection and assuming he was the one who taught Obito the skills for becoming Tobi, why didn't he taught him about resurection in the first place rather than wait for someone else to resurct him

The only reason i have believed (against all the conflicts) that its Obito from the start, was the point that he is the only person in the manga who could cause a Shock-Effect to the readers.
And thats the most important thing for the creator of a manga.

Imagine what would have been if Izuna, Kagami, Shisui or a person like that was revealed to be Tobi, after a long time we waited for it. And imagine what that would have meant to the story.
It would have been like "Oh, I dont know much about you and Ive never seen you before, but could it be that youre Izuna/Kagami/Shisui/...? Well then, lets go on fighting!". Nothing special at all.

Now there is a huge confusion and a lot to explain, thats just what most stories of this kind used to do.
