madara orginally developed the cursed seal.
Orchimaru learned that madara knew how to do this.
orchimaru reanimated the orginal madara.
while orginal madara was alive he used the curse seal on obito
orchimaru unsummoned the reanimation
madara cursed seal took over obito because of his rage.
whats his ass with the glasses wanted to reanimate madara for his army but oculdnt, so he merged first hakago cells with orginal madara body and reanimated that
sasuke is about to learn this from orchimaru. THATS WHERE SASUKE IS GOING RIGHT NOW

you didn't even read my thread yet you post. you saw tobi thread and just posted that without reading it....... according to kakashi obito was dead wasnt he? there is a thing such as a reanimation justu, THAT EVEN WHEN THE SUMMONER DIES IT DOESN'T GET UNDONE???

the problem with your theory is that Kabuto DID reanimate the original Madara. Madara claimed that he himself implanted the 1st's cells after stealing some flesh from their fight... of course he could by just lying which brings me to point #2
If Kabuto wasn't able to reanimate madara by himself, mixing in the 1st hokage would not have made it any easier, since as you recall the 1st was sealed into the death reaper seal by the 3rd.
btw I don't understand people getting all "uppity" over this. it's just another guess that Obito's body was taken over.
I tend to agree more with the theories about Obito being fused with Zetsu somehow, or even just a physical puppet somehow.

So, for all those who think Obito would have years to grow into his power before the Kyuubi Attack, let's do the math. Kakashi and Obito are the same age, and currently Kakashi is 30 years old. He was 13 Years old during the Battle of Kannabi Bridge. He was 14 during the Nine-Tails attack. Given his birthday (September 14) and the date of the attack (October 10), at most 13 months had passed since the Battle but most likely less.
So, would someone explain to me how Obito went from being a canon-fodder ninja to some Shinobi God capable of effortlessly wiping out multiple ANBU Squads and fighting on par with Namikaze Minato in a matter of months?
Or how Obito gave Nagato the Rinnegan when he had yet to even be born?
Or better yet, how he encouraged Yahiko to start Akatsuki when he was still rolling around with Team Minato?
Personally, if it wasn't for the fact that it clashes with established canon, I wouldn't have a problem with Tobi being Obito. He is a perfect foil to Naruto all things considered. But it seems to me that Kishi is just pulling this out of his ass right now.

and that he was merely retrieving what was originally his. If he is Obito, we know that is simply not true. He has one of his original eyes and Kakashi has the other. How did these ancient eyes magically appeared in a random young boy - Nagato (esp. since we know that the Rinnegan is a stage in the maturity of the sharingan: 3 tomoe, MS, EMS, Rinnegan). I know what your thinking. Obito may have loaned Madara's Rinnegan to Nagato/Pain (so that he could manipulate him).But still, how in the hell did Obito acquire Madara's rinnegan?

He could answer with his actual identity: Uchiha Obito. Again since she pushed The Masked Man to his limits, he rewards her with an honest demeanor. Instead he states, "I am Uchiha Madara with the power of Senju Hashirama!" "I am the ONLY one who could be the second Sage of Six paths” “He who sees the future is the victor!” How can he be Uchiha Madara with the power of Senju Hashirama and more importantly WHY IN NARUTO HELL WOULD OBITO SAY THIS?!These major plot facts are not adding up.

i think that tobi was 2 different people. Because it couldnt have been obito 16 years ago when he attacked the vilage with kurama. I think that when that old tobi died obito took over as tobi. I think its the only legit explanation at the moment

Several reasons why Tobi cannot be Obito
1) The sudden leap in ability. When Obito died, he was a Chuunin. From Kakashi's age, we can infer that Kakashi was 13 or 14 when Obito died (Kakashi is 26-27 at the start of Naruto, and he was 13 when he became Jonin. At most, nine months pass between the Kannabi Bridge mission and Naruto's birth, if Kushina got pregnant only after the mission. Or it could have been as short as a week for all we know). So, at most, Obito had only nine months to somehow jump from Chuunin rank to fighting at least on equal terms with the Fourth Hokage. Given from what 599 tells us, Obito was jealous of Kakashi outstripping him. If Obito managed to be equal to the Fourth...why is he jealous?
- Side note to that fight with the Fourth. In a battle, especially ninja battles, you're supposed to use any and all tricks necessary to win. If Tobi was Obito, wouldn't he have pulled off his mask and said "Hi Sensei! Great to see ya!" so as to distract Minato, get him to pause for a second?
-Obito clearly died from the cave in. He has a ton of huge rocks on top of his body. In fact, it's already hard to believe he survived long enough to say goodbye to his team-mates and to give Kakashi his eye. Even if somehow the rocks were just the right shape and he was in just the right position to only be trapped but not actually harmed by the rocks...why would his team-mates then leave him alive to starve to death? If he was only trapped and not harmed by the cave-in, they would have granted him a merciful death, to spare him the agony of starving.
-Obito had only awoken his Sharingan for the first time that mission. No way that after the cave-in, he somehow used Kamui to save himself.
-Even if he did somehow use Kamui...what possible motive does he have to become the villainous mastermind behind everything? From the montage we see in 599, Obito at most is jealous of Kakashi and pissed off at him. That's it. At his death, he died with a smile on his face, willingly giving up his eye to his friend. If he was actually evil...why willingly give up his eye? Why, if he survived, didn't he go back to Konoha? Why, if jealous of Kakashi being better than him, give him an eye that would only serve to make him even better? If he survived, why do everything he did, instead of going back to Konoha and beating the living crap out of Kakashi?
-As for the possibility of it being Obito's body that is being controlled or possessed in some way (say via a Yamanaka-esque mind control jutsu, or through him being resurrected with Edo Tensei), two things are wrong with that. First, this implies a FOURTH hidden character (first hidden character was the leader of Akatsuki, later revealed to be Nagato/Pain. Second was Tobi, whom at first was said to be Madara Uchiha. Third was Tobi again, once it was revealed Madara was a separate individual) So now, close to the end of the manga, there's a possibility of a fourth hidden character? Imagine if, say, in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, during the Battle of Hogwarts, it was revealed Voldemort's body was being controlled by his third cousin twice removed? In a piece of literature, you don't reveal at the very end that your main villain is actually somebody else, whom the audience has never before seen.
The second problem with that is...why Obito? Why control/resurrect Obito? He was a no-name ninja. His only claim to fame was that his sensei became Fourth Hokage. He didn't accomplish anything and had no notable skills, so why use Obito to fight against the Fourth a year after his death? This would be somewhat like Kankuro choosing to use a basic puppet to fight against a Kazekage, rather than say Sasori's puppet body. Especially if somehow his controller/possessor knew before Obito's death that Obito's eyes would develop the Kamui power. How would they have known?
Lastly...what's up with 599 showing Kakashi taking the Chuunin exam at the same age as Obito and Rin? He didn't. The official databooks say he became a Chuunin at age six, having graduated as a Genin at five. So Kakashi had no business at all even so much as being part of the same graduating class as Obito and Rin.

I also agree I have noticed some strong indications on Tobi being Obito but I wont accept how Kishi attention to detail is crap and how the very last panel of this chapter pretty much stating that Tobi is name is Obito he pretty much with those words said Obito is Tobi.
And yes I will probably end up reading chapter 600.
