right now i voted for izuna just because of that war arc he told sauske about itachi and what he had done for the village but when tomorrow comes and if its not any of the above and some random uchiha i'll be laughing my ass off at you people and myself

Alright, we all know Tobi's real identity will be revealed in either next chapter or the chapter after that. Here's what we know about Tobi from this week

• He has Obito's Mangekyo Sharingan. This means that his other Sharingan eye from before he got the Rinnegan from Nagato was some other, random Sharingan.
  
• He calls Kakashi's power "borrowed". Whether he talks about it being "borrowed" from Obito or from the Uchiha in general is still unanswered.
  
• Tobi seems to have something personal against Kakashi (and maybe Gai?). He called Kakashi out on sweet-talking his way through life, and told Gai that he couldn't remember faces (although that may have been a jab at how he never remembered who Kisame was).

If possible give me your thoughts on this question -


Tobi activating Obito's Mangekyo Sharingan was what allowed Kakashi to use Obito's MS. As far as we know, the MS is only activated when you kill the person closest to you. Obviously Kakashi didn't do that, but if Tobi found a way to activate the MS, then who how did he do it or who did he kill???

Tobi is saskue and itachi's father........he planned the whole thing do you honestly think that the leader of the great Uchiha clan would die on he's damn knees without even putting up a damn fight be serious people.....he knew how strong his son was and he played him to the left like Uchiha

guys just think!! Just think about how Rin cared about her team having medical equipment and stuff of that sort and how Hinata does the same with her team and with naruto giving him ointment...Burden,promises,broken promises,envy, have been passed down from generation to the next.. just hinting on who tobi might be with this Rin/Hinata talk of mine and how all this falls with tobi words to kakashi that no promises have to be said infront of a grave. (Broken promises) grave belongs to Rin and the stone is referred to Obito grave along with the other unknown ninja that died in that war.

this is true but the stone also signifies peoples bodies that were never recovered i think.

My first guess is that it is Obito, Kakashi explained that when tobi uses Kamui he is actually existing in two planes of existence, so to me that could explain how Obito could have survived and matured in that other dimension. Kamui is called a space time ocular jutsu so the element of time travel isn't so far fetched in my opinion, and also it appears that Tobi has some history with Kakashi.

yes some one gets this also why else would he have to hide his face and make refrences to rin toward kakashi if he wasnt actually obito plus if he was trully crushed then the other eye would not have survived.

Have you all people lost your mind. Dont you'll have any common sence. Dont you'll know when a sharingan is transplanted from 1 uchiha to another the mangekyou turns into a different pattern. So im saying tobi is either obito or not an uchiha.most probably not obito because he's way too old while fighting the 4th hokage. He cant be izuna because he's not immortal.

Wow I feel like you hit it right on the nose for the exeption of one thing. That could simply obito somehow. Not that im voting for I would probably stop reading the damn manga if it happens. But til this date I cant recall anyone not using their clan emblem and tobi does wear his. Maybe it is to fool people. But even the hole akat clan wore their head bans with the scratch over it. So it is very hard to say who could it be.

God...Izuna is one of the biggest fodder in the series. He has no character development, and doesn't even say anything in the entire series except a scream!

Obito on the other hand had a great outlook on life, affected the life of one of the most popular chars in the series, had character development, and appeared in several issues while he was mentioned in others.

Now despite the timeline issues, I get the feeling something big happened

If Tobi is Obito, this creates an opportunity to give Kakashi more character development. This certainly would be better than a fodder like Izuna, or some random clone.

yes this is my whole reasoning behind it too the only thing i am unsure of is h why tobi/obito didnt go blind yet from using the eye too much then again if he transplanted the eye from his right side into his left side does it still activate an ems?

it also didnt sit well with me that madaras brother just died during the transplant since madar lived from it so maybe he faked his own death and was the tobi that attacked the fourth till obito was found or obito did the attack after finding out rin had died or at least that were the story seems to be leading.

i'm thinking he wasnt wearing a head band cause he was pretending to be madara and madara existed before the leaf village and would not want to wear a headband from it if he never trully considdered it his home.

if it said obito wasn't crushed on that side then i would believe it was someone else other wise it cant be the jutsu to appear and disappear is from kamui so it had to be obito who used it when the boulder fell on him to make half his body fade to the other dimension. any other way would mean the eye got crushed if he actually got hit by it the. only difference being that its in the other eye socket now possibly to activate ems so who knows but it was already said if it was another uchiha then it would be a different pattern. i doubt its rin since masked man is the appearence of a man unless naruto has to go on another mission to determine his gender.All signs seem to point to obito wether kishi was doing it on purpose or not it just seems highly unlikely for anytihng else. people are giving the excuse about wrinkles and his power level against the fourth if he was obito cause he would be really young i personally don't think that matters because with this show there are various ways people could survive a life death situation and come out looking different from it. But basic rules got to apply first which leads back to obito since its his eye and refrences to rin toward kakashi. So my vote is its obito hands down.
